✦✧✦Despite the fact that neither Chan or Jisung seemed to care much about the kiss, Changbin ended up caring a lot more about it then he initially did.
He wouldn't even really consider it a kiss really, it was simply a peck.
The real issue was that every time he saw him, which was nearly every day, he felt the need to do it again.
It's almost as if Jisung was teasing him with a quick peck. Which he knew wasn't true but he desperately wanted to feel that feeling again.
Not to mention how he was now practically incapable of acting normally around Chan now.
Chan would simply grab his hand to make him walk faster and Changbin would be a blushing, stuttering mess.
He slowly began to hate himself for it. He felt horrible yet he couldn't help it.
It wasn't a strange occurrence for him to disappear in his room for days.
It also wasn't weird for Chan to come comfort him.
Although he had become pretty used to Jisung coming as well.
He told Chan to simply leave him alone for the first few days of his slump. Having Chan around wasn't making him feel any better about having a crush on two people who were in a relationship.
Eventually, he let Chan come in one day.
Just as he usually did, Chan quietly sat next to him, quietly, simply to keep him company. Something Changbin knew he took for granted. Most people would simply ignore if their friend was in a mood like he was, especially if it happened as often as it did for him.
They sat their, silently listening to music with each other for about an hour until Changbin finally felt the need to ask something. Something that he had been wondering almost constantly since he had become so used to hearing Jisung's voice on a regular day basis in their apartment. But lately he hasn't heard it at all.
"Where is Jisung?"
"I'm not sure," Chan replied with a small sigh. "He's been very dry lately and I haven't seen him on the bus."
"Is it because of me?" Changbin asked, voice cracking at the thought of true two breaking up because of him.
"No, of course not," Chan confirmed, loosely wrapping an arm around him as Changbin felt his face heat up but his heart drop at the same time. "We both agreed to play that game. He also seemed perfectly fine for a few days after. I don't really know what's wrong but it's definitely not your fault."
"I should still apologize. Can you send me his number?"
"Yeah but- don't expect a response too quickly. I'm thinking about going over to his apartment tomorrow to make sure he's alright. I'm sure I'll figure it out then."
Changbin simply nodded as the room fell silent and he glanced up at Chan who seemed to have shyly broke their eye contact.
"Changbin?"
"Yeah?"
"Why did you want to play that game so badly anyway?"
"Oh umm- I guess seeing you and Jisung together constantly made me realize that I want to date someone too?" He responded, making it sound more like a question as he wasn't sure if it made complete sense.
"Oh. You could also just tell us to stop if it's making you upset or anything."
"It doesn't make me upset. You guys are really cute together and I'm happy that you actually seem happy in a relationship for once," Changbin explained, blushing when he heard a small laugh erupt from Chan. "What?"
"Nothing, that's cute. I just hope he's alright."
"I could go check on him tomorrow during his lunch break," Changbin offered though quickly regretted it once he realized Chan should probably be the one to talk to him first.
"If you want to, I'm sure he would love to take his lunch break with you. Then I can go visit him after work."
"If he's not on the bus with you and he's not answering his phone...how would you know weather or not he'll be there?" Changbin asked and Chan froze.
"I guess you can ask since you'll see him first."
"Where's his work building?"
"I'll send you the address."
"What is his job anyway?" He questioned, he saw Jisung come over to their apartment multiple times with a simple which button up and black dress pants but that could be the uniform for a lot of different places.
"Uhhh he works at an office but I'm not entirely sure what he does. He just said he has an office job."
"Hmm," Changbin hummed, letting his eyes fall close with his head still laying on Chan's chest.
"Are you tired?"
"No, just comfortable."
"I can't imagine what you and Jisung would be like if you two got closer."
"I mean-" Changbin began but stopped himself before he brought up the kiss again. "What do you mean? We're already pretty close."
"You're really clingy even though you don't seem like you would be and Jisung loves being cuddled constantly."
"You would kill me if I tried to cuddle with your boyfriend."
Chan was about to say something but seemed as though he stopped himself and said something else instead, "Yeah, I guess seeing him with his roommates is torturous enough."
"What's his favorite food?" Changbin asked, wondering what he should bring for them to eat tomorrow.
"Cheesecake."
"I should bring him cheesecake?...for lunch?"
"Oh I guess that's not a great idea hmm...I don't think he's very picky. You can get whatever. I'll pay you back for it."
"No, it's okay. He's my friend too. I can buy him lunch. You wouldn't be able to meet us too?"
"No. By the time I would get there I would have to leave to go back to my work so that I don't get in trouble." Chan responded with a small pout.
"Alright, we'll I'll let you know how it goes."
"Okay, thank you," Chan responded, placing a quick kiss on the top of Changbin's head before getting up an leaving.
Changbin blankly stared at his door, trying to comprehend what had just happened. As well as what would come tomorrow.
