Jeongin/Hyunjin/Seungmin chapter?

Jeongin paused once he had actually gotten to the door of Seungmin and Hyunjin's apartment. He wasn't even sure what he was planning on doing; going there at all was an impulsive decision.

He messaged Jisung and asked him if it was okay to even mention the fact that he was in a polyamorous relationship. It wasn't necessarily his place to tell their other friends but he was desperate to find a way to bring it up casually. Desperate to find out the two's opinions on the matter.

Jisung of course said sure, he had a strong feeling that neither Seungmin nor Hyunjin were going to be judgmental about it.

Not to mention how painful it was to witness Jeongin thinking that he had gotten over his crush on Seungmin and moved on to Hyunjin only for the two of them to start dating each other.

Truth was he never lost feelings for Seungmin at all, he simply thought his newfound feelings for Hyunjin could get rid of them.

It didn't work out that way at all. The more time he spent with either of them or even both of them at the same time, he slowly fell in love.

But they fell in love with each other first.

He slowly brought his hand up and gently knocked a few times on the back of their door.

Seungmin opened the door and smiled almost immediately when he saw him, wrapping his arms around his waist.

"Woah who knew the person who's been basically ignoring us for months would show up at our door randomly like this," Seungmin teased.

Hyunjin gasped dramatically when he saw the two and joined their hug before dramatically letting go and shaking his shoulders, "You better have a good excuse."

"I don't have one," Jeongin frowned as he sat on the couch, Hyunjin and Seungmin followed behind him sitting on either side. Jeongin had conveniently placed himself in the center, loosely grabbing onto both of their hands.

"Have you been alright? did something happen?" Seungmin's questioned, poking the side of the youngest's face, close enough to his lips that it made his heart begin to race.

He missed that feeling. The feeling of his heart speeding up by the smallest gestures, anticipation for those small moments to lead to something more, he missed being in love. Even more so after he had avoided and ignored the two people whom he loved the most for so long.

"I'm okay now," he contently sighed, leaning his head onto Hyunjin's shoulder and tightening his grip on Seungmin's hand.

"Now? So you weren't okay at some point? what happened?" Hyunjin questioned.

"I just missed you guys."

"We missed you too but why did you ignore us in the first place?" Seungmin's asked quietly, now leaning onto Jeongin's shoulder.

"Missed you a lot," Hyunjin said, glancing over at Seungmin but the younger paid no attention, instead stared down at his and Jeongin's enlaced hands.

Jeongin's heart wasn't the only one racing.

Hyunjin and Seungmin admitted to each other that they had both, at one point, had a crush on Jeongin.

That lead them to the mutual understanding that they would always care about him to a certain degree. Being ignored by someone that they cared about so much hurt them both. And although his being there made them both happy, they needed to know why Jeongin felt the need to ignore them for song long. What they did to make someone they care about blatantly ignore them for months.

"Jisung has boyfriends now," Jeongin told them, though the two didn't pay any attention to the "s" at the end of the word.

"Really? Is he nice?" Seungmin asked.

"Boyfriendsss," Jeongin emphasized, desperate to see how they would both react.

"He has two??" Hyunjin asked, looking at Seungmin once again but this time his boyfriend was actually looking back.

"Mhm," The youngest hummed, tightening his grip on both of their hands. "Do you think that's weird?"

"No! Not at all, it's not weird," Hyunjin said, perhaps a little too enthusiastically.

"If they all love each other then why wouldn't they be dating?" Seungmin asked, still looking at Hyunjin who just showed a small smile.

Seungmin would be lying if he said he hadn't dreamed about being in that scenario with Hyunjin and Seungmin. It's just always seemed like something that could only happen in his dreams, never in real life, as he feared the chance of Hyunjin hating him and Jeongin thought he was weird or disgusting.

But Hyunjin seemed just as open about it as he did.

Although they still didn't know if Jeongin brought it up for a specific reason or if he was just trying to catch them up on his roommate's lives.

"So you wouldn't think it would be weird if I asked both of you out on a date?" The youngest asked and both of his friend's faces flushed a deep shade of read as an irresistible smile appeared soon after.

The silence which had only lasted for a few seconds was beginning to feel like hours to Jeongin, "It was just a joke," he said with a small sigh.

"Then I'm asking you to go on a date with us," Hyunjin quickly responded with a pout.

"Not joking," Seungmin added for him.

"Both of you are okay with it?" He tried confirming.

"Innie, we both had a crush on you," Hyunjin explained.

"Have," Seungmin corrected.

Hyunjin shook his head with a small smile, "Yeah, have."

"Jisung should have told me that he has two boyfriends sooner," Jeongin sighed, hiding his face in Hyunjin's shoulder.

"So that's why you ignored us," Seungmin said quietly.

"I didn't wanna mess anything up. You guys always seemed so happy so I tried to keep my distance in order to get over you."

"Never again," Hyunjin replied, hugging the youngest.

"Okay," he blushed.

"Well now that that's settled, where are we going for our date?" Seungmin asked with a smile.
