Jisung didn't get an answer as to why Changbin was in the hospital as he immediately left work to get there.
He felt guilty, if he had just answered his phone then maybe Changbin wouldn't even be in the hospital right now.
It's not like he was purposely ignoring all of Chan's texts. He just assumed that it would be better to stay off of his phone for a while, so he did.
Even though now he wished that he didn't.
He walked into the hospital and asked for Changbin's room number.
He saw Chan sitting on a chair next to Changbin who was fast asleep.
"What happened?" Jisung asked, walking over to look at Changbin. He had dark circles under his eyes and was hooked up to an IV but other than that, he seemed physically okay.
"He started to drink at some point after I had left for work. I got a bad feeling because he stopped responding and didn't answer when I tried calling him so I left early. He was passed out on the floor when I got there but the last time he did this he tried to..." Chan trailed off and felt a tear fall down his face when he felt Jisung's arms wrap around him. "They had to flush it out of his system because alcohol and his meds don't mix well at all."
"I'm sorry," Jisung whispered, gently rubbing Chan's back.
Jisung was working as if everything was normal while Changbin was trying to hurt himself and Chan was having a nervous breakdown. He truly did feel horrible about it
"He's gonna be okay but I just- I didn't think he would do it again because of what happened last time. He almost died- he promised me that he would never drink again."
"Chan it's not his fault, it's mine. I shouldn't have ignored you like that. This is my fault."
"It's mine. I should have asked what you were okay with before I did anything like that with Changbin," Chan explained and felt Jisung shake his head. "I'm just really bad at actually being with someone I guess."
"No, you aren't."
The two eventually ended up sitting in silence, Jisung leaned his head onto Chan's shoulder and loosely held onto his hand.
Now they were just waiting for Changbin to wake up. Which could happen at any moment so they both refused to set foot out of the room.
Finally, the black-haired boy started moving a little, moving his hands up to rub his eyes.
"Did I die?" Changbin asked when he opened his eyes to see how two boyfriends holding hands.
Neither of them responded but Jisung was quick to wrap his arms around him, placing multiple kisses on his head and forehead.
"I'm sorry Bin, I shouldn't have freaked out like that when I've never even brought it up to you guys and it doesn't even matter if you do want to do things on your own because we're all dating and that shouldn't be weird or make anyone feel bad," Jisung mumbled on, causing Changbin to let out a quiet laugh.
"I love you," Changbin mumbled into Jisung's neck.
"I love you both too, I'm sorry for overreacting."
"Love you," Chan added, joining their hug. He wanted to make Changbin promise never to drink again. Make him promise it and mean it but he didn't even know if that was possible. He didn't even think that making him promise would do much of anything, it's not like Changbin had planned out to drink, it was an impulsive decision made due to his poor mental state, and no promise could prevent something like that. In the end, it only ended up making Changbin feel worse about it.
"I'm sorry," Changbin said, still hiding his face against Jisung's neck. "I was being really stupid it just...thought I made you hate me."
"I could never hate you. I shouldn't have even gotten mad about it in the first place," Jisung explained.
"Let's just forget agout it for a little bit, okay? We can talk about it later." Chan said with a small smile and both of his boyfriends agreed.
