YOUR POV:

I didn't want to go to the cliffs and be social, but I didn't want to let Laura down after promising to help. I put my new clothes away and Pietro said that he was coming to get me and he would be here soon. I smiled at the thought of seeing the goofy silver haired boy again and made sure I was ready with my swimsuit on with some spandex shorts for the bottoms and grabbed a sweater to zip up if I got cold. Pietro texted and said to meet him at the edge of the woods so I headed downstairs to say bye to my dad.

"I'm gonna go and hang out on the res and go swimming with some friends." I told my father who was watching tv in the living room.

He smiled, "Be safe and be back in time for dinner, Tony is coming home today."

"I will. I love you!" I called out as I left. I went to the edge of the forest and a moment later, Pietro's silver wolf head popped up. I smiled and ran my fingers through his fur.

"Look at you, pretty boy." I cooed. Pietro shook out his fur and let out a little yip of happiness. The wolf bent down so I could climb up and once I was on, Pietro took off fast.

I laughed, raising my arms in the air as the breeze blew through my hair aggressively. Pietro barked three times, jumping over a log and pouncing from rock to rock across the river. I giggled once more, feeling like nothing could touch me while I rode wolf back. It was so freeing being surrounded by nature and the evergreen trees that represented mother nature's curly hair.

Pietro ran faster, looking back at me with a smile on his face before he burst through the tree line and tossed me in the air. I gasped in surprise, landing a top of a slim chocolate brown wolf. Pietro came out of the tree line fixing his Cotton grey shorts and he had a smile plastered on his face. I slid off the chocolate wolf and watched the beast run off into the trees before emerging as Valkyrie.

"Hey girl." The gorgeous woman smiled at me.

"Hey." I smiled, "that was some pretty awesome wolf riding."

Pietro giggled, "We should totally do that again."

"Yeah but this time she gets to ride my wolf." Valkyrie smirked, nudging the silver haired boy.

"Maybe we could have a race. Wonder who the fastest wolf on the res is." I smiled.

The sokovian puffed out his chest, both of them saying "me!" At the same time before wrestling each other to the ground. Valkyrie pinned his arm behind his back and the boy grunted and tried to flip their positions but it was no use, he was done for. He tapped out begrudgingly before standing to his feet and wiping the dirt off his chest.

The two wolf protectors led me to Clint's house and both sat down at the kitchen table, most likely to bicker and banter some more.

"Glad you made it!" Laura smiled kindly at me. I couldn't help but feel warm from just that smile. She projected motherly love and it made me feel bittersweet. I knew Laura was a safe person.

"No thanks to Pietro. Tried to knock my head off my shoulders with some branches the way he was running in the woods." I joked.

"Hey!" Pietro gasped, "I thought you liked riding my wolf!"

I snorted and messed up his hair just as Clint came in the house, sweat beading up on his skin like he had just come back from running a marathon.

"Probably shouldn't use riding, wolf and y/n all in one sentence in front of Nat." Clint gave a pointed look to the sokovian before kissing his wife hello.

Pietro grumbled something and Valkyrie laughed, standing up from the table.

"Well I do believe it's my turn for patrol. Y/n, care to dive off the cliffs with me later?" The warrior woman asked.
