Serena Gets Settled In

Chapter 3

Loki said, "What do you mean IF I WILL, I HAVE BEEN TRYING to resolve this BUT YOU won't let me." Serena said, "DON'T YOU YELL AT ME LOKI ODINSON!" Thor interrupted yet again, "Brother, Serena PLEASE STOP THIS MADNESS! You need to control yourselves. The Avengers don't work this way. We ALL get along and so shall you two." Steve said, "Serena if you would like, I can get Nat to take you to your room?" Serena answered in a much calmer voice, "Yes, I would like that very much." Steve said, "Good. Nat take our new avenger to her room." Nat said, "Sure thing, Cap." Nat asked Serena, "Will you follow me?" Serena walked right past Loki without saying a word. Loki just looked at Serena, not saying a word either.

Natasha took Serena down the long hallway. Natasha started telling Serena what room belongs to who. When they finally got to Serena's room, Natasha said, "Well here is your room. I hope you enjoy your stay at Avenger Tower" Serena asked Nat, "Who's room is that?' pointing across the hall from her room. Nat said, "Well, it's um, well it's....Loki's room." Serena's eyes got big and said, "I don't think I can stay in this room." Nat said, "I'll tell Cap that you don't like this room, if you want me too BUT he thought that you being from Asgard, that you might want to be close to Thor and Loki. At least that's what we thought before we found out that you and Loki are on bad terms at the moment." Nat turned around to go to get Steve, when Serena stopped her. Serena said, 'Wait! I'll stay in this room." Nat said, "Are you sure? I'm sure we could find you another room." Serena said, "No, this will be fine." Serena thought to herself. "At least I can keep an eye on Loki this way." Serena knew that Loki could read minds so she was glad he wasn't around to read hers right now OR was he around?
