Bucky Falls In Love With Serena

Chapter 13

Bucky asked Nat, "Where's Serena?" Nat said, "In her room - talking to Loki about what happened on Asgard. Serena's hoping that they can make amends." Bucky's head dropped and then said, "Oh, she's with him." Nat said, "Why wouldn't she be with him? After all, they were supposed to be married before all of this happened." Natasha then realized, "Oh, Bucky you haven't fallen in love with her, have you?" Bucky doesn't say anything, just turns away. Natasha said, YOU HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH HER! Well, Bucky I hate to say this BUT she ONLY has eyes for Loki." Bucky said, "She deserves better than him. Someone who won't betray her." Nat said, "Bucky, Serena and I believe Loki WAS tricked by The Enchantress, an Asgardian sorceress." Bucky said, "That doesn't excuse his behavior." Nat said, "Bucky, you might as well forget about Serena." Bucky said softly, "I can't."

Just then "Jarvis" sounded the alarm getting everyone's attention including Serena and Loki. Serena asked Loki, "What's that?" Loki said, "It's the Avengers alarm. There must be trouble. We need to go, Serena." So, they left Serena's room and went to the control room. Tony asked Serena and Loki, "What took you so long?" Loki said, "None of your business Stark!" Bucky looked over at Serena with a wanting look in his eyes. Serena recognized that look and hope that Loki doesn't see Bucky looking at her like that, but HE DID! Loki looked over at Bucky and said, "Why are you staring at Serena like that?" Bucky said, "THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS LOKI!" Loki said, "Like HELL IT ISN'T. Serena and I are getting back together and she's going to be my wife!" Steve said, "OK you two, that's enough. We have a problem to deal with - someone has gotten into Avengers Tower!" Everyone stopped talking - how could this be. No one EVER got into Avengers Tower before now.
