Serena Confides In Natasha

Chapter 11

Natasha said, "You thought he betrayed you not knowing that The Enchantress shape shifted into you." Nat continues, "But I do have a question for you. If you could see that the chambermaid had blonde hair, how come Loki couldn't?" Serena said, "After I saw the chambermaid enter Loki's bed chambers after hours, I went to take a peek to see what was going on. I saw the chambermaid turn around and look at me, but I couldn't see her face clearly. The Enchantress must have changed into me, after I left the room crying." Nat said, "That makes sense to me, Serena. You shouldn't blame yourself for what happened. You didn't know that it was The Enchantress." Serena said, "Maybe, but I should have stayed and done something. Woke Loki up or called out to him, something, anything to get his attention and maybe just maybe this wouldn't have happened." Serena said softly. Nat said, "It's over now BUT you and Loki can get through this together. Just go to him and explain your fears. I'm pretty sure HE WOULD probably want to get revenge against The Enchantress for putting a wedge between you two." Serena said, "Yes, he would and that's why I'm afraid to tell him. I don't want him to lose his temper and do something he might regret later. It's best IF I deal with The Enchantress myself." Nat, "If you think so BUT I STILL THINK you should tell Loki the truth." Serena said, "I'll think about it."

Serena asked Nat, "What happened to Bucky's arm?" Nat asked, "He didn't tell you?" Serena said, "No. BUT I didn't ask. I didn't know how he would react." Nat said, "Well, it's kind of a long story." Serena said, "I have time if you want to tell me." Nat said, "Well, it happened a long time ago when Steve and Bucky were in the war. They were on a mission fighting HYDRA, when Bucky fell off the train seemingly falling to his death. Steve had a hard time dealing with the loss of his best friend because he blamed himself for Bucky's fall. HYDRA found Bucky STILL ALIVE BUT his left arm was severely damaged. HYDRA took Bucky back to their headquarters. They had to cut off his arm and replace it with the metal one you see now. HYDRA brainwashed Bucky into believing that he was part of HYDRA and made him an assassin-a killer. He killed Tony's parents, but he didn't know what he was doing. In time Steve and Bucky met once again BUT Bucky DIDN'T KNOW Steve. Bucky was going by the name Winter Soldier now-Bucky Barnes didn't exist anymore. AT LEAST NOT for a long time." Serena asked Nat, "How did he get his memories back and unbrainwashed?" Nat said, "Steve finally got through to him. Then took him to Wakanda where King T'Challa and his healers eventually deprogrammed him." Serena asked, "Who is King T'Challa?" Nat said, "You haven't met T'Challa aka The Black Panther yet. T'Challa doesn't stay at Avengers Tower BUT he's STILL AN AVENGER. He stays in Wakanda as King to rule his kingdom but IF we needed him, he would come and help." Serena asked, "So King T'Challa's people helped to undo what HYDRA did?" Nat said, "Yes. That about sums it up." Serena said, "It sounds like Bucky went through a lot during his time in the war." Nat said, "Yes, he did but all is forgiven. Just as we did with Loki."
