Chapter 36 (Final Chapter)
When Loki and Serena woke in the morning after a night of passion, they got dressed to see The Avengers off. Serena tells Loki, "Today is the day our friends go back to Midgard and our first day as King and Queen of Asgard." Loki said, 'Yes, my dear. It's a happy day and also a sad day because we have to say goodbye to our friends but happy that we start our new lives as King and Queen of Asgard." Serena said, "Let's not keep our friends and loyal subjects waiting any longer." Loki said, "Yes you are right my darling, as usual." Loki laughed. With that, Loki and Serena left their bedroom chambers.
The Avengers came out of their rooms looking for Loki and Serena. Nat said, "I guess they are still asleep." Just then Loki and Serena came around the corner. Serena said, "Hello my friends. Did you sleep well?" Nat said, "I most certainly did." Wanda said, "Me too." The rest of The Avengers nodded in agreement. Nat said, "So this is it. You and Loki rule Asgard and we go back to Earth to protect it. Is that right?" Serena said, "Yes, my friends. I'm afraid that's the way it has to be BUT if you ever need us, we will be there." Nat said, "I know but it doesn't make it any easier saying goodbye." Serena said, "I know." Wanda said, "I guess it's time to go back to Earth." Loki said, "Before you go, you must have breakfast with us, my friends." All of The Avengers nodded in agreement.
After they had their breakfast, Loki and Serena walked with The Avengers to the Bifrost so Heimdall could send them back to Earth. Nat and Wanda told Serena and Loki, "We're going to miss you." Steve said, "It was nice having you for an Avenger, even if it was only for two days." Serena said, "Yes, Steve, that was two days I'll never forget but Loki and I will always be Avengers." Steve said, "I'm sorry about all of that." Serena said, 'It wasn't your fault. It was The Enchantress'." Loki asked, "Are you ready to go, my friends?" Nat and Wanda gave Serena a hug before saying, "Yes." The other Avengers said, "Yes." and shook Loki's hand. Loki tells Heimdall, "Open the Bifrost." and The Avengers stepped through waving goodbye to Loki and Serena. The Avengers went back to Earth and Loki and Serena started their first day as King and Queen of Asgard.
