It's like walking on tight rope,
You have to know when it's right to let go,
I know we have overstayed our welcome,
It's time to go,
Yet you still seem distracted by the trees,
Do you not notice me?
I am begging, pleading and hoping you will understand,
You seem busy playing with the sand,
I try to explain things are crumbling,
and will bleed,
But you think that means I'm fumbling,
and that I'm wrong indeed,
I start to feel like lost to wind,
It doesn't matter what I say,
I'm bound to go downwind,
Screaming,
Hugging,
Loving you enough to stop,
But you keep tugging at my heart strings,
so I keep swinging on,
