Anxiety bubbles up
It's the strangers talking about
Trying to articulate
My sanity
While I let it fizzle outClose my eyes
Listen to my breath going in
And out
I run so fast
Til my muscles ache
And my anger drops down
With the sweat
I madeEven though I am out of breath
It is the first time I can breathe
The first time
I can let the anxiety of what others think of me
To bed
Because I know meI am not what they want me to be.
