POV WANDA

I'am in my room. It's morning. Natasha left the apartment early for a training and after that she has an important meeting. It's all to prepare for the mission she has with Maria this week she told me.

But while she told me, I felt something was off. I asked her if she was nervous because of the mission, but she laughed hard and told me that she never was nervous for anything and that there was nothing wrong.

I'am getting used to the way she communicates with me. She's not an easy talker. But I feel like she trusts me more and more. I need to be honest. Not everything she tells me makes me feel better. About myself or about the way she sees me.
The kiss with the woman. The fact she used to do drugs a lot. But there is something about her that I trust, that tells me she doesn't do it on purpose.

I'am grabbing my jacket and walk towards the office where I'll start the day with a meeting with Steve and Sam.
Busy with my thoughts I walk through the corridor. Since the accident happened, every meeting or groupsmoment with this people make me nervous. Every day I'am afraid that they'll tell me I have to leave. That I make to many mistakes. That I'am not good enough for them.

'Goodmorning Wanda.' I look in the friendly eyes of Steve.
I nod at him. 'Goodmorning.'
After him I walk into the meeting room.
Sam is already busy typing on his laptop. 'Fury will be there in 5.' He says.
'And Goodmorning you two.' He winks at me. Nods at Steve.

Fury.

An anxious feeling arises in my body.
After the accident I talked with him. He told me how he felt about me. How my mistakes had consequences for the safety of the team.

I told him that I'am working on it, that I'am training myself to master my magic. I didn't tell him that my magic takes over way too often, that I don't have control over the voices in my head. That my dreams feel like reality and that I don't know what's going on. If he knew, I won't be here anymore. And sometimes I'am asking myself why I'am still here. Sometimes I think it's better to just leave. Not only for myself. But for everyone.

Fury walks inside. He nods at us.
Sam points at the screen. We look at a picture of a black box.
'Somebody dropped this before the entrance of the compound last night.' Sam starts.
'Team bomb threat investigated the box, but nothing was dangerous about it. They only found this.'
He taps on the screen. A photo of a picture of three witches. All three with red eyes, red magic flowing through their fingers. On the eyes are drawn black crosses and on their throats knives.

They all look at me.
With widen eyes I look at the picture.
Natasha was right. The woman with the black hair, she's indeed a threat.

'It's obviously about you.' Fury starts. With his hands on his back he walks through the room, then looks at me.
'You know somebody who could send us this?' Fury asks.
Of course I know. It must be her.

'We need Natasha here.' I say.
Steve looks up and frowns.
'She's preparing her mission. She'll leave tomorrow. Can't you just tell us?'
I shake my head.
'Bring Romanoff then.' Fury says.

With Natasha I walk through the hall back to the meeting room. After I told her what Fury and Sam just told me, I ask her: 'You think it's the woman?'
She nods. 'It's her. I don't know why. But it's definitely her.' She says with this fierce look. As if she's ready to fight back.
