Chapter 2: It Begins Here

WYNTER'S POV:

I looked up as Mia stood there tapping her foot. Rick and Steve were laughing silently to the side. "What did he do now?"
"He's out on another heist!" She growled out.
"I know little love. I know you hate it, but this is who they are. If i thought he would live off my money I would have him do so but he won't. We just have to be there for him. Besides it won't be like this for long."
She groaned and flopped down on the couch beside me. I kissed her head. "Just a few more years Mia."
"Fine. But do I really have to stay behind with Narcissa and Marcus when you guys leave?"
"Yes you are finishing your schooling, and we will be back in five years. You will get to visit us as well."
"Fine." She sighed.

The next day I was helping her in the store. I grinned seeing a red truck pull up. Walking to her side I whispered "Tuna on white no crusts"
She swatted at me smiling while I laughed and went to join Dom in the office. He smirked seeing me as I sat on his lap. I just cuddled up to him and watched the flirting. Even as Brian tried to do his cop thing.
"Their cute together." I told him. He glanced that way then shook his head, "Awkward as fuck more like." I laughed as he sat me on the desk edge and went and got us each a soda. The team showed up then plus Damon and Derek. Nik was at home painting. Steve, Bucky, Legolas and Rick went to a gun range. Paul and Bellamy were at a track honing their driving skill. Jordan and Natasha were relaxing at home before tonight. Derek and Damon made a bline for me and Dom. They both kissed the top of his head then kissed my cheek before Derek went to get them drinks while Damon sat on the desk beside me.
Finally we heard Mia yelling about stopping the fight. When the boys didn't move i got up. I was almost there when Derek and Damon got Vince off and Dom stood in front of Brian. After being yelled at by Dom I pointed inside and Vince went. Looking at Brian I waited after he left I arched a brow crossing my arms and tapping my foot at Dom.
"What? what did I do?" He asked.
Damon and Derek grinned, Damon whispering, "ohhhhh someone is in trouble"
"You will not get that boy fired. You will call Harry and tell him to make it seem like he was going to be, but that is all. "
"Come on babe..." He started.
I glared harder, he sighed and said, "Fine"
When I heard Damon make a whip sound I turned on him glaring and he froze, " That's a thousand in the douche bag jar and you are cooking breakfast for the next week."
Derek smirked and went to say something, "Do I need to add something to you as well?" , he wisely kept silently as Damon and Dom muttered like scolded two year Olds.
I walked in to see Mia and Letty grinning widely.
"Girl I don't know how the hell you manage all 10 of them." Petty said while Mia nodded. Them team stood there listening even Damon, Derek and Dom.
I smirked wickedly, "Easy lots of sex, and food. The occasionally belly rub helps too."
Mia and Letty lost their ever loving shit howling with laughter. Vince spit his drink out on Leon , Jesse looked both humored and disgusted. Dom and Derek shook their heads grinning. Damon oh sweet Damon smirked and did his eye thing.

Soon it was time to get ready.
