Now that we all graduated, the others were finally Genin. It was time for team assignments. We arrived at the academy and went to our class. As I sat with Nick to my right and Sasuke on my left and Damon on his left, we were greeted by a few. Naruto was running a little late and arrived after us. He stood talking to Nik when the Sakura and Ino arrived. Naruto and Sasuke while best friends in private played up their rivalry in public. Sakura tried demanding I move from my seat. I simply arched a brow at her and then promptly ignored her. She angry, turned and started yelling at Naruto to leave Sasuke alone. Then it happened.
Before the girls could attack Naruto I shielded him. I then stood and glared at every girl that tried to attack him. My gaze and tine cold as I said, "How dare you try and attack him over something not his fault! He was pushed from behind! Act like proper ladies not heathens." Most looked shocked and did as asked a few, Ino included, shocked Naruto for their actions. Sakura stood there and glared. Hinata came over and helped Naruto up. He thanked her, she blushed. I sat back down as Iruka came in. He began dividing us into teams. Nick Damon and I were on our own team. Jordan and Nat acting as our Jonin. When Sakura asked why here team was being forced to work with a team that had a student like me on it, she was told two reasons one was the Hokage ordered the two teams to be as one and two to keep the team balanced they liked to pair the lower achieving students with the higher ones. She smirked acting proud saying she knew I was an awful student. I smirked back when Iruka said I was the highest ranked student in the class and academy, that it was Sakura who needed the assistance. We were dismissed for lunch then. As a group we chose to eat together on the roof. I invited Hinata and her team as well as Shikamaru and his. I told them Kreacher made plenty. Saying Kreacher was all it took for Choji to agree. He loved Kreacher's cooking. We got to the roof and the food was laid out.
