Chapter 5: Back to LA

WYNTER'S POV:

We were relaxing in our house. I finally got Dom to lay off heists. He was mainly building cars now.

Then Mia called. Letty had Bern killed. Letty wanted us all home. She knew all but Dom could come home when we wanted. Dom refused my immunity. He didn't want to rely on it. So back to LA we were headed. Normally I would go smack Braga myself, but we need the contact with Gisele. So time to let things play out.
We got back in time for the funeral. Dom in hiding.
I glared at Brian, knowing he may mourn Letty, but was here for his job.

After the funeral i stopped by his side and said , "Make this right Buster and earn your place back in this family." We walked off.
Now knowing what was to come I decided to fuck with Braga a bit. Plus it would annoy Dom and my mates some, got to keep them on their toes. Of course Nat was all for it, Jordan not so much. Nik just smirked he did so love it when I was the Queen I was meant to be in every way.
So after Dom won his race and was set to meet Braga the next night I made my move. I waited till I knew Dom and Brian would be seated with him, then the four of us entered the club.

As we walked in, without delay or question, we moved through the crowd which silenced. When Braga saw us he cursed and looked to Dom and Brian telling they to not speak unless spoken to.
"Night Queen, what a pleasure to have you here."
I arched a brow pure blood mask firmly in place as I looked around the club unimpressed. "Yes I'm sure my presence improves this.....place by a thousand."
Braga gulped at my dry cold tone. "How can we help you today?"
My eyes focused on him coldly, "You get to play messenger. You see I need 'Braga'" my tone told him I knew who I was talking too,"to know he has angered me. See he let one of his people kill someone important to me." I handed him the picture of just Letty and I. Braga swore under his breath and gulped. "So let him know he reaps what he sows. Fate will catch him.....eventually. Unless of course he wishes to turn himself over to the police and hand deliver the killer to me before hand, but alas I don't think he will. Just remember to tell him there is no place on this earth he can hide."
I nodded to Brian and Dom, who both looked annoyed, "Gentlemen enjoy your evening at this fine ....establishment." We then turned and left.
Nat and Nick grinned and smirked the whole way home. Jordan sighed and looked at me, "You enjoy making it difficult on my to protect you." I just laughed at his deadpan look.

Soon enough everything came together and Brian and Dom took out Phoenix and brought Braga in. The court system thought they would make an example out of Dom. They sentenced him to 25 years to life. Parole not possible for 25 years.
Yeah I wasn't having that shit. We decided it was time to head to Brazil. Narcissa and Marcus would stay and run things like always. Kreacher and Minxy were already in Brazil preparing the house. Nik, Jordan, Damon, Paul, Bellamy and Natasha were going to help break him out. The rest were headed south already. Driving to stay off radar. Brian and Mia would find their own way down as well. Staying with Vince the first night, till we came to get them.
Time to get Dom.
He heard the cars....
