As soon as the preliminary fights were done, training began. Sasuke went with Kakashi, and Naruto went with Jiraiya. While they were off training I spent time with Gaara. I managed to befriend him. He was still wary of it though. It was only the peace that I brought him that kept him coming back. With me he even managed to sleep without rampage. While Gaara slept I spoke with Shukaku. I also visited Lee. I brought him treats and flowers and told him soon he would be healed and fighting again. I was waiting for Tsunade to arrive before healing him, it would draw less attention that way.
It was time for the Chunin exams finally. My family and I would be joining the Hokage, in the Kage box. It was decided that they would be informed of my status as well. I made sure to tell him to not tell the Sand as it would not actually be the Kazekage. He understood. Before hand I went to where the fighters were gathered to wish them luck. The boys were a bit shocked to see me look so dressed up.
