Chapter 3: A 10 second Car and a Family Dinner

LOS ANGELES
WYNTER'S POV:

I was bent over working on the engine of the Impala with Jordan handing me tools. Damon and Bellamy sat to the sighed just watching my ass. Natasha grinned watching Jordan's.
Letty and Mia rolled their eyes and laughed.
Dom shook his head before we heard a tow pull up with a car on a flat bed.
We all looked I grimaced, I don't care how good it could look it was ugly at the moment. I looked to Dom and said, "We did say 10 Second not years right?" Everyone laughed.
Brain shot me grin shaking his head, "No faith"
Soon Jesse was salivating over design ideas once he saw the engine. I shook my head. Looking to everyone I reminded them family dinner. Don't be late. I took off then with Jordan, Nat and my two drooling mates and headed to the house. Kreacher already had a grill going and sides prepared. He was grumbling over eating outside like animals. I just kissed his cheek and he stopped. Soon people were showing up. When Vince saw Brain he was going to walk away, not stopping for the others. I finally yelled, " Vince! If you walk away now you will be eating nothing but Mia's tuna fish sandwiches for a month and I won't let Kreacher or Minxy feed you anything else!"
He turned around real quick and sat down. I nodded, "Much better" then muttered about fucking two year olds. Damon snorted hearing me. Nick shook his head laughing and pointed at Damon. Everyone laughed then.
As everyone sat down Jesse reached first and prayed to the car gods. We enjoyed our meal.
Over the next couple days Mia was excited to get to go on a date with Brian. He had more then Dom threaten him. I think he was almost rethinking it. 10 guys threatening him. All looking dead serious. I told them all to leave him alone, he looked relieved for a moment then I looked to him, "Besides it's not. You he needs to worry about. It's me and Nat if he breaks her heart." The guys smirked and Brian gulped.

3rd POV:

Brian took Mia out and while out asked her how the gang came to be?
She laughed, "They aren't really a gang more family or team even. As for that, well Wynter's family moved in next door when I was an infant. Vince came along in third grade. Letty on joined too. She did date Nick's brother Henrick for a bit. Soon Leon and Jesse just kinda showed up one day and never left. When my dad died. Wynter and her family were there for us. She took us in and has supported and cared for us. She helps keep us all together as a family should be."

Brian listened and really thought about her words. His bosses were pushing on this, they even wanted more info on Wynter but he had nothing. They were going to raid Tran soon.

WYNTER'S POV:

I rolled my eyes as Dom looked out the window again. "She is a big girl Dominic we helped raise her right she will be fine now come to bed with us."
Soon he sighed and joined us.

The next night I received a phone call from Tran I sighed and agreed to meet him.
Jordan, Nik, Nat, Derek and Bucky joined me. We pulled up to the meeting spot and as soon as he saw me he bowed low to me. Then stood and said, "Thank you for the tip. I was raided and almost had my family in the home when it happened. My father would not have taken it well."
"Your welcome. Just remember you owe me. You know what I want. Don't fail me on this."
He nodded and bowed again before we left to home.

The car was finally finished. Dom and Brian took it out. I smiled hugging Mia to my side. I had been busy the last few days with Narcissa making sure things were in order. We would be leaving soon. I wanted Mia cared for.
When they got back Dom came and kissed me then nodded to the others, "He is going to Race Wars with us."
"Good, promise me Dom. This next heist is the last one here."
He looked at all our mates and nodded. "Yes it is. After this I won't rely on this."
"Good" I liked he was willing even though I knew what was coming. "Jordan, Nik and I will join you. The others will be with Mia and at home." He went to protest. "Don't worry back up only, but be careful the drivers are arming themselves."

We were ready to face what is to come.
