It's been a couple of weeks since my album release party, and managing damage control for everything that went down with Taehyung has been my team's number one goal. The past few weeks have been full of outings with Kaia that are documented by paparazzi and multiple interviews that are strictly to be about my album, as per request by Hyun-suk.

I haven't seen much of Jennie lately, I only seem to see her for a few moments in passing. It's usually only whenever Kaia is around, when Jennie's working. I've been so busy with Kaia lately and trying to start my own career over again that I hardly have time to myself anymore, and I know that she's been busy with Kaia's hectic schedule right now, with award season right around the corner.

I'm supposed to meet up with Kaia today so we can both go together to get fitted by our stylist. To make our official red carpet debut, they want us to coordinate our outfits so we can look like the new 'it' couple. I just have to get through her rehearsals first.

Walking through the halls of the private dance studio, I pass an empty room, with a flash of gold catching my eye. I stop and walk through the door way, finding a little girl sitting on the hardwood floor colouring. I look around, not finding anyone with her.

Sensing my presence, she looks up at me with her big bright blue eyes. "Hi!" she says with so much enthusiasm I can't help but smile.

"Hi." I crouch down in front of her, looking at her colouring book that's scribbled in. "What are you doing here?"

"Colouring." she says simply, while going back to poorly colouring inside the lines.

I chuckle. "I can see that." I look more closely at the drawing that she's colouring and notice that it's a princess being saved by a prince from a dragon, the page next to it is an illustration of the two getting married, living happily ever after. She hasn't coloured that one yet.

I take a seat next to her, crisscrossing my legs and watching her colour. "I guess the princess gets a happy ending, huh?" I ask.

"Yeah." She shrugs nonchalantly.

"What, not a fan of happy endings?" I joke.

"Not all stories have happy endings." she explains in her adorable little toddler voice.

I frown. "How old are you?" I ask, wondering how such a little girl could know of such a thing.

"Three." she says, holding up three fingers. Her three sounds more like 'free'.

"You're pretty wise for being just a three year old. How do you know that not all stories have happy endings?"

"My auntie told me so. She says that sometimes the bad guy gets away and the good guys don't always win."

I just nod, not really knowing how to argue with that. "Not always, though."

"Hallie!" I hear someone yell from down the hallway. "Hallie?"

A few moments later a distressed looking Jennie appears in the doorway, with her frantic eyes scanning the room. "Oh my God." She places her hand over her heart. "Hallie." she breaths out in relief. "You nearly gave me a heart attack. You know better than to run off like that." she scolds the little girl, scooping her up in her arms and holding her tight to her chest.

"I'm sorry, auntie Jennie." The little girl gives her best puppy dog eyes, her double N's sounding more like a W.

"I just wanted to find somewhere to colour."

"Wait, that's Hallie?" I ask, shocked to see her brother's best friend, and guitar player for his band, Suga's little girl so big. Suga is also like a brother to Jennie which is why the little girl calls her auntie.
