Jennie
"I'm tired..." Lisa grumbles as we stand in the hotel lobby, waiting for a car to take us to the venue.
"Have you been sleeping well?" I absentmindedly ask while scanning through the emails on my phone.
"Not really." she stands directly behind me. My stomach flutters when she presses her chest to my back, dipping her head to rest it on my shoulder, her dark curls tickling my cheek.
"Why not? Are you not feeling well or is something bothering you?" I ask, subconsciously reaching my hand back to run my fingers through her soft hair, pushing it off her forehead to check if she has a fever. She lets out a hum of contentment and I luckily don't detect a fever.
"Someone hasn't been watching Friends with me." she mumbles into my shoulder, making my heart clinch.
Ever since Hyun-suk's comment a few days ago, I've been trying to put some distance between Lisa and I. This meant no more late night binge watching my favourite sitcom. Every time she would ask me to watch it with her, I would just claim that I was too tired.
"You can watch it without me." I suggest, still trying to consume myself in my emails rather than the presence of the popstar that's lazily resting her head on my shoulder.
"It's not the same." she snuggles her head further into the crook of my neck.
The hotel elevator dings and the doors open to reveal a glaring Hyun-suk, with Don right behind him. I quickly shrug off Lisa and she almost goes toppling to the floor, with confusion and hurt flashing in her eyes at my sudden action.
"Lisa." Hyun-suk says in greeting as he and Don make their way towards us in the lobby. "Jennie." his voice sounding a bit more clipped.
The car pulls up to the front of the hotel and we all pile in, heading to the venue. On the short car ride, Lisa decides to make herself comfortable in the back seat with me, leaning over to rest her head in my lap. I can practically feel Hyun-suk shooting daggers at me through the rear-view mirror.
When we pull up to the venue, I can't be more relieved to get out of a car in my life. I quickly get out and head to Lisa's dressing room, wanting to consume myself with work and stay busy to appease Hyun-suk.
"Hey, are you ok?" Lisa asks, leaning against the bathroom door while I unpack all of her toiletries, neatly setting them on the counter and in the shower.
"Hmm? Yeah, fine." I brush past her to go back into the dressing room, scanning my eyes around to make sure that everything's in order.
"You sure? You've been acting... off lately." she comments, turning around, still choosing to lean against the bathroom doorframe, looking at me sceptically.
"Yep. Just trying to get used to being back on tour schedule I guess." I lamely reply, trying to give her a small convincing smile. I grab my phone out of my back pocket to check the time. "We better get going to the meet and greet."
After sound check, Lisa, Jessi, and I all sit in the dressing room, chit chatting while eating dinner before getting ready for the show.
"Lisa." Hyun-suk comes into the dressing room, beaming. "I have a surprise for you."
"What is it?" Lisa asks, furrowing her brows.
"Kendall." Hyun-suk calls out over his shoulder with a devilish grin. Peeking out from around the dressing room door is none other than supermodel Kendall Jenner. She smiles wide as her long tan legs carry her into the room, heels clicking against the floor with each graceful step she takes.
"Lisa, Kendall. Kendall, this is Lisa." Hyun-suk introduces them.
"H... hi..." Lisa stutters, scrambling to her feet. As she walks over to Kendall, she makes sure to straighten out her clothes and run a hand thought her hair to make herself more presentable. "Nice to meet you." she says, sticking out her hand.
