It all begins

Alex fell to the ground in absolute shock at Zuch's behavior.

Zuch continued with a cold face, "We are Vampires."

Alex looked at him with fear.

Zuch leaned down to face her.
He brought his face close to hers and stopped a few millimeters away from her face.
He said cockily,
"Why?... Scared now?"
Saying this he smirked.
Alex met his eye.
She didn't break the eye contact. 
Her eyes were fierce.

Alex suddenly started laughing.

"S-SCARED?! HAH! WHAT? scared?!"


Zuch was dumbfounded.
He stood like an idiot.

His voice got lowered, and he said, "Are- you laughing?"

She still laughed.
Then apologized for laughing so uncontrollably but she giggled, saying," Don't worry, I'll take you to a good doctor, believe me!"

Then, she stood on her feet and reassured, "So, you are protecting me? Okay. I'll play along for some days. Anyways, I don't have anybody to cry over my body except a cousin. But now, take me to my hospital. Otherwise, other people may cry over their loved ones."

Alex laughed melancholy.

After a silence of defeat in trying to make her understand, Zuch declared, "I will be watching you from close."

Alex assured, "Ok! Fine." 

She tries to kill herself at night and fails every time but tries to save lives in daylight and somehow succeeds most of the time.
As expected, many patients injured from the blizzard were waiting.

However, after a long day, she took leave and walked outside.

Just the moment she stepped outside, someone grabbed her.
And then, she woke up from a deep sleep.



 She saw herself tied with rope in a dark room. Her head was heavy and it was paining terribly.

 She suddenly remembered what she was dreaming in between.

She was astonished but clueless about the meaning.

In the dream, she saw a building burning and she was shouting in fear but couldn't stop it.

Alex was still panting when she woke.

She heard a voice saying, "You're awake. Do you remember me?"

She saw the bearded man from earlier.
Her eyes widened.

She managed to mumble in a groggy, weak voice saying,

"Y-YOU?!"
