Epilogue: The bracelet

Sarah got the keys to a new house.
Her landlord wanted someone close to him to rent the house.
So, she had to leave for a new house.

But apparently, she got a house where she could be a paying guest.
The owner is not always home.

She spent two days in that dustless clean house.
She is clean though.

Fatefully, She found a bracelet that she had made for her cousin Alex.
She gasped.
Her eyes widened.
Her hands flew to her mouth in disbelief.


She waited for the homeowner to return. After all, she was too scared to ask Alex because she might think that Sarah was prying on her privacy.

The next night, it was cold enough.
She was making a cup of hot chocolate for herself.
She walked towards the door when the door opened suddenly and she was about to jump back when the cup was about to fall on her.

But she saw someone pull her aside and the drink fell beside her.
It took some good seconds to realize what had happened.
A man covered with dark clothes and specks of thick snow all over his clothes.


His eyes were only showing and the eyes were bright grey.
She was surprised and at the same time, both were lost in each other's eyes.


Suddenly he put her on the ground to stand up.
He was supposed to give her a hand but he just glanced again at her and walked away to his room.
She was speechless and stooped up somewhat angry but also thankful. 

She cleaned the chocolate and attempted to prepare dinner.
He came out of the room.
The first thing she noticed was his grey eyes.
And his beauty.
He was about 6'3" feet tall.
His shoulders were very broad.
He had stubble.
He walked to her and their eyes met. 

He smiled, "I'm sorry, I should've acted like a gentleman but I was cold enough to make you catch a cold so I changed quickly. Sarah Leonardes?"

She smiled reluctantly, "Yes. And May I know your name?"
Zai smiled and replied, "Zaios Geros. The owner."

Sarah nodded softly and then suddenly it came to her mind.
She asks hesitantly as she pulls out the bracelet from her pocket, "Btw, Is this bracelet yours? I found it while cleaning."

He studied the bracelet and then looked at her.
"You know, it was my brother's girlfriends."

Sarah was confused for some seconds.


 Then realized something.


Sarah stated, "But, I made this for MY cousin."
Both of them looked at each other for some seconds.
 Sarah continues, "So--- You are---"

Zai's face brightened gradually as realization dawned on him too.
