The faraway castle

Six Hundred and thirty-two years ago, in the year 1388, a baby was abandoned because he was bitten by the rabid bloodsucking group that snuck into the kingdom, haunting the villagers severely. 

Their house was in the hills.
So, when the prime minister, Nevayan Geros was strolling under the hills, he found a crying infant.

He picked it up and realized that His group had bit the child.
He was 'that' but he wasn't rabid like them.
He had his eyes on the stone palace underneath the palace which nobody else knew about.

 He raised the child to be a brave warrior and vaccinated him with his venom so that he wouldn't turn rabid.
He was adopted in the vampire way.
The minister's blood was infused into the child's body.
His facial features were turning into the minister's while he was growing because his DNA was changing gradually.
His eye color changed into grey.
He was named Gaven Geros. 

At first, his eyes turned grey.
Then his skin, eyes, nose, hair, hair color, and by the age of 13, he fully changed into another person: The minister and his late wife.

At one time, both the father and son looked similar.
Nevayan will not age anymore.
Nor will Gaven.


Both of them meditated underground for a decade when Gaven turned 22.
This a rule and way to be powerful, non-aging, and nearly immortal in the vampire realm.

When the princess was born in the year 1401, and was growing up, Gaven felt a string tying them both.
He used to protect her even when she was locked up in the palace.

His father told him to bring the princess's necklace to him anytime before she died.
Because he and Nevayan had centuries to live whereas she has less than a century to live. 

He used to watch her quietly at night when she was sleeping.

Gaven's excuse was the necklace but not his intention.
He never wanted that.


One night, she woke up suddenly and with the calmest look on her face, she told Gaven, "You can kiss me today" and smiled.
Gaven was dumbstruck but...Ahem...

They got married in the most celebrated way.
The king was proud that he could remain the king as long as he wanted to be.

They got married and were left alone to talk the night but was it only talking on their marriage night?

 Everything was heavenly after that. 
Life also went on well.
They loved each other cordially.
Princess Sapphire also was expecting.
They started having a thousand dreams for their unborn child.
Every movement amazed them, and every kick made them happy.
The child's birthday was nearing.
She noticed her eye color changed to grey.
She noticed she was getting more and more beautiful. 

But one day, the rabid group attacked the city.
They killed and sucked the blood of every human present.


 And Gaven knew right away that his father, Nevayan betrayed him.
He also realized that Nevayan has his hands on the underground palace now.
This was planned.
Ages before Gaven was adopted.
He intends to kill Gaven and Sapphire once he gets his hands on the underground palace. 

Gaven and Sapphire ran for their lives.
Ran from Nevayan.
The castle looked far and then, farther.

 It was then the faraway castle they never imagined they had to look at in fear.

On the way, the child was born. And, on the way, he was abandoned to save themselves. How selfish life makes people, even a mother!

They couldn't perform underground meditation on a child because the minimum age is 10 years. So, he is just like a human baby.


They knew he'd die as they left him alone in the wild.
The loud cries of their child gradually went down.
They knew what was meant to happen, has already happened.


And nobody knew what happened to him afterward...
