kiss and burn.

The house has only two bedrooms. Sapphire had to go for a visit to a hospital in an emergency and as a habit, she locked her bedroom from outside.  But today it was on purpose.
Now, what to do? There's only one room left.
So, they had to share a room.
Minzo insisted on Tiano sleeping on the bed and Minzo decided to sleep on a mattress beside him. 
Their hearts beat faster because they never shared a room with somebody of the opposite gender.
Tiano noticed that Minzo had long hair that was hanging from the mattress to the floor. She was looking pretty in the bride's gown. But even prettier without makeup and with just a normal T-shirt and sweatpants.
She had freckles around her cheeks and nose.
Tiano turned to her while she was already facing him.
He observed her deep brown eyes for a moment and it was honest.
He asked her, "Why didn't Mom attend your wedding?"
He recalled something, " But first, how are you related to us?"
She mocked the word 'us' in her mind but was nodding the time he spoke.
And smiled a bit to answer as if it was something he can't handle.
She replied," We know, she isn't my actual family. I just stay with her and call her Aunt. My actual guardian is my family who is probably abandoning me right now."
She laughed at that thought but Tiano was silent.
She continued, " When I was 16, I stayed with her to complete my studies as I was admitted into a college in this faraway city. She found me unconscious in my hostel while visiting it and bought me here to live with her. I've never told my real family about her and where I live. They have always treated me like shit. I'm not even their biological child."
She was grumpy and almost muttered the last sentence.
Tiano was still silent and was listening to her quietly.
Tiano finally spoke, "Why did you run away from your home?"
She came closer and whispered, "Because they might've-find out who and what I am."
Tiano gulped and then fearfully resumed, " W-what are you?"
She smiled, but this time, her eyes weren't wrinkled.
Tiano echoed, " Mi-Minzo?"
Minzo slowly said, " I'm Minzo Reeds" She laughed.
Tiano's face changed to a smile after a second.
"Minzo!" Thank pouted.
"Minzo, you!"
Minzo laughed again.

It was almost dawn. It's dark outside though. Tiano woke up from sleep rubbing his eyes. He turned to see Minzo. She was sleeping peacefully like a kid.
Tiano gazed at her closed eyes and beautiful face. He never saw a prettier face than this one.
He kept on gazing at her. And kept on thinking about this hectic day.
Suddenly Minzo opened her eyes calmly. Almost as if she was told to open calmly by her doctor. She caught him off guard by catching him gazing at her.
He wanted to change the embarrassment with a question. He asked her, " You up? I am curious about something if it's not too personal"
Minzo nodded.
He asked, " Aren't you upset? Tour marriage broke, the biggest event of your life was spoilt?"
She smiled and then chuckled.
" Upset? I'm happy! And I've never been happier!"
Tiano was confused, " huh?"
She laughed, " You know I've never even seen him before. That's why I thought you were the groom! Btw, your outfit was exactly like his!"
Tiano smiled relieved.
Minzo pouted and muttered, " I was kinda disappointed that you weren't the groom. And I knew right away that he was an asshole. My parents wanted me to marry him. "
Tiano smiled at that and teased her, " What if I was the groom? Would you marry me?"
She shrugged and then answered, " The thought isn't so bad actually. We could've lived happily ever after!"
Both of them laughed and got lost in each other's eyes for a moment.
Then their smile disappeared and they gazed at each other for another moment.
Their bones kicked like: Am I looking at 'the one' of my life? Because I'feeling what I've never felt...
Their eyes grew softer. Minzo let out a small smile and climbed into the bed beside him leaving Tiano a bit startled.
Minzo offered calmly, "Let's kiss and see what happens next."
Tiano's eyes widened in surprise but it more widened when Minzo pulled him for a kiss.
Her lips were soft, slow, and inviting at first, and then when Tiano closed his eyes and pulled her closer, the kiss gradually grew more passionate. Tiano let out a soft moan against her lips and offered his tongue.
Tiano's tongue was hot and burning against hers as if he waited forever for her.
They couldn't keep laying so they sat up and wrapped their arms around each other.
Tiano strangled his arms around her hair behind her and softly put a strand of her hair behind her ear.
They slowly left each other to look into each other's eyes.
It pronounced love. Their eyes were wet with happy tears.
Tiano gently caressed her cheeks and outlined her jaw and then her lips softly.
Then she rubbed her nose onto his nose and both of them smiled against each other's lips.
And kissed again. But this time it grew hot again.
Suddenly Tiano left it and rubbed the edge of his lips as it bled. He gasped, "Blood?!"
Minzo said, " Oops! But it tastes sweet. God! I want more of your blood!"
Tiano's eyes were filled with fear as his nice moment shattered like glass and then he realized that the man at the wedding was right.
He screamed, " ARE YOU A VAMPIRE?!"
She smiled and it turned into a smirk. Her stare cuts straight to his...
