Charlotte 'Charles' Greenfield loves the world. She loves how green the leaves are, how blue the sky is and how loud the city is. Most of all, she loves how red roses are. Red had always caught her eyes, ever since she was a toddler. Red markers, red fire trucks, basically red anything, there was always something marvelous about the color red.
Most would connect red with hate, passion, anger, and courage but she had always thought red symbolized joy. Red cheeks when her mom pinches them after getting a good grade, red stained fingers when painting, and her red lips after eating one too many strawberries. All of these things bring her joy.
What brings her the most joy though, is the red in Robby Keene's cheeks after she kisses him for the first time.
