i held my hands on my face, trying to tune out the pissed off argument ensuing between my three ghouls.

"y/n, i love you and i love how you have three ghouls seeking your attention all the time, but if you don't get them to shut. up. then i'm going to crash this car into a tree." ifrit growled, his grip on the steering wheel tightening.

i took a deep breath, looking up and seeing a gas station further up the road.

"pull over there." i pointed. ifrit sighed in relief, turning his signal on and pulling into the gas station.

"why are we pulling over?" rain asked as ifrit parked in a spot in front of the building. i stayed silent, unbuckling my seatbelt and getting out.

"go! get out!" dew grunted, pushing mountain out the door as soon as he was unbuckled.

i walked into the store, all of my ghouls following me as they looked for any hints as to what i was doing.

i walked to the drink coolers, getting two 1L bottles and moving on to an isle that had a whole bunch of random shit.

i looked around, stumbling upon a spray bottle.

good enough. i thought to myself as i picked the bottle up, walking to the candy isle next.

i picked up three pink laffy taffy sticks, walking to the cash register after.

"y/n, what are you doing?" mountain asked, looking over my shoulder as i placed everything down. the guy working started scanning all my things, sending dirty looks at all my ghouls.

though, he stopped as he got a glare from me and a low growl from dew.

"here you go." he said, handing me the bag after i paid. i nodded, taking the bag and walking out of the store.

"why won't you say anything?" rain asked as i handed the bag to ifrit, taking the spray bottle out and unscrewing the top.

"hold this." i stated, handing the open bottle to rain. rain took it, holding it for me as i got a water bottle from the bag.

i filled the spray bottle up, feeling the stares of all the ghouls around me.

once the spray bottle was full, i closed the water and set the half full bottle on the ground, taking the spray bottle from rain and closing it.

i turned to ifrit, taking out two of the laffy taffy sticks i bought, giving one to ifrit.

"oh, thank you." ifrit smiled, taking the laffy taffy and quickly reading the jokes on the wrapper.

"why does he get cand-?!" i cut dew off, spraying him with the spray bottle. dew gasped, slightly holding his arms out as his jaw dropped.

rain started laughing hysterically, so i hit him with the laffy taffy stick in my hand.

"ow!" rain exclaimed. i ignored the water ghoul, turning to mountain and raising a brow. he quickly shook his head, holding his hands up.

i nodded, picking up the half full water bottle and putting it in the bag, getting back into the passenger seat.

once all the ghouls were in the car, ifrit started driving and not a single fight started again.

ifrit and i made brief eye contact. ifrit dramatically sighed in relief, making me giggle.

"i'll be out here when you're done. if you ever need a hand just text me and i'll come in." ifrit smiled as all my ghouls rushed to get out the car. i nodded, unbuckling my seatbelt as rain opened my door, pushing mountain out of the way to get a hold of the handle.
