We got in the minivan and drove to the carpark to do yet again another car video. They come around so quickly every week. Nick got in the back and Matt was in the drivers seat as usual.Matt hadn't really spoke to me or Nick today so I was wondering all day how this video was gonna go. Nick nudged my shoulder when he got in and tilted his head towards Matt, who was twiddling with fingers and his knees slightly bouncing.
N: you good matt?
Nick said placing one hand on matts shoulder
M: mhm
He said sorta smiling.

I knew something was off with Matt. He is quite a quiet person but today he hasn't spoken a word to me or Chris I was starting to get worried.

fuck anxiety. I thought when Nick asked me if I was good. That's what I wanted to say but I couldn't find the words, my lips were trembling and my legs were beginning to bounce. I was trying to hide it but my hands were uncontrollably shaking.
M: For fuck sake!
I yelled shakily and slammed the car door shut. I could feel them both staring at me as I started pacing around the car park trying to make it all go away. I got really frustrated with myself.

N+C: Anxiety.
We both said and looked at each other in the eyes.
I sprinted out the car and found Matt sat on a curb around the corner still shaking. I felt Chris behind me. I sat away from Matt to start because it was best to give him space.
N:Matt sweetheart it's okay, we can pause the video we don't have to have it up yet.
M: I cant let it always get in the way.
His frustration had calmed but now he was just sad and disappointed in himself.
M: I-I...thought I had this all under control.
C:Matt we love and care about you, why don't we just go home and chill we can invite Justin, Madi, Nate we can have a film night!
N:that's sounds great you down matt?
Matt tries to catch his breath.
N-:Take your time bud.
M:yeah
His voice raspy.
M:that's sounds fun

That did sound fun, I was a lot calmer now, but it's just the drive home I was worried about. Nick stood up off the curb putting one hand out to help me up and I pulled him into a hug and dragged Chris in.
M: I love you guys
N: We love you too Matt
M: sorry I know you were looking forward to filming
C: don't be sorry Matt
M: Sor-
N: nope let's go home now!
I got back in the seat felt a bit shaky but less panicky I took a sip of water and we hit the road. Film night was so good and distracted to me from all the distressing feelings I was having.
