i promised the triplets i'd go over after college,
but if i'm being honest i didn't feel like it. i'd had such a rough day, and i didn't want to bring their moods down. but i don't break my promises.

i walked in and helped myself to the kitchen, hoping for a snack, but when i looked at all the options, i didn't fancy it. i kicked my shoes off and left them by the front door and walked to nick's room.

i don't know why today was so bad, there's just drama in my friend group that nick, matt and chris love to hear and i have to update them if anything happens. let's just say i have a lot to talk about.

i also woke up with a pounding headache and the worst cramps. there's always tomorrow right? "hi nick" i mumble placing my backpack by his desk. "oh hey mads", he's so used to me walking in, "busy day?" he asked focused on his laptop. "that's to say the least" he finally looks up to see me stood there. "you?" i say not realising he was staring at me, he ignores me asking him the same. "hey what's up?" he asks opening his arms out for me to lay in. i place myself next to his warm body and he wraps his arms around me still managing to use his laptop. i don't say anything and just take in my surroundings before matt walks in. "didn't hear you come in?" he says looking at me. "why are just stood there then goofy" nick said making me giggle. "was getting a drink, want anything mad-dog?" "hey what about me?" nick says jokingly rolling his eyes at matt. "i'm okay thanks matt" i say half smiling. just as matt was about to walk out... "wait where's chris?" i turn to nick. "in his room i think why?" matt says. "just wondering i have some stuff to talk about" i say taking my phone from my pocket to open my notes app. i keep a record of things i want to tell the group when i'm at school because i'm very forgetful. let's just say my list was interesting today. "omg who is it today is it freddie? ethan? jackson?" nick says excitedly. Freddie is my ex boyfriend and ethan and jackson are in my friend group, i did have a crush on all 3 at one point 🤫 "maybe" i reply grinning. "got any popcorn" i say feeling a little more peckish. "absolutely" nick says jumping out his bed leaving his phone unlocked. it called for me to spam his phone with pictures of me.

we all sat on the couch with the popcorn being passed around as i began wandering where i should start with my day. "so tell us everything" nick says getting comfortable opposite me. "nick you get crazy about this let the poor kid speak" chris says laughing. "where did we leave off last week?" matt asks. "ethan had a crush on anna but marley also had a crush on anna and they had that fight last week and anna's brother stephen got involved and they all got expelled" i say in one breath. in this story anna is mads best-friend and freddie is her ex (ethan, jackson, anna and cassius is her friend group) if that makes sense :). "so today i rocked up to english class 15 minutes late because our tire burst on the way to school and i missed home room" nick interrupts me "is laura getting the car fixed?" "yeah i had to walk the rest of the way to school" "why didn't you ring me i would've driven you?" i love matt. "you think you'd be up at 8am?" matt side eyes me and chuckles. "anyways this girl named sara who is jackson's bitchy friend but we haven't told him we don't like her, was stood outside my english class and gave me the deadliest look so i kinda just stopped and stared at her, she things she's own this school i swear" i love the way nick matt and chris look at me when i'm talking, it makes me feel appreciated.  "she asked me what i was looking at? and i said you were looking first and she got herself all angry about it so i walked into class before she looked like she'd turn into an alpha and attack me" they all laughed at that.

after ages of chatting, i'd realised i'd been blabbering for way too long and i should probably go home. "anyways that was about it, it will most likely all kicks off tomorrow, i swear it still feels like i'm in high school with this lot" i laugh. "you have to tell us everything as soon as it happens" nick says. "i will don't you worry" i say standing up walking towards nicks room to grab my backpack. "but mads seriously if that sara girl or anyone tries to
mess with you, stand up for yourself okay? i know what you're like" matt says gently. "thanks matt i'll try" "they'll have to get past me first" chris says doing push ups on the ground" i laugh and video him.

"bye guys" i hug chris first then matt and then nick. "we love you mads, you know you're welcome here anytime" matt says. "thank you, thanks for listening to me talk shit about everything" "well we're always here for you" chris says. "and remember they have to get through chris first" nick says being sarcastic. "hey" chris says getting cross. "4year old" nick says laughing. "bye mads"

little did i know i'd be back the next day with yet more stories to tell.
