Love Life (Sequel to Thug Life)

"Missy you ready?" Rico shouted from downstairs.

I sighed and finished my hair before grabbing my bag. I checked myself in the mirror and guided my hand down my black slacks. I waddled down the stairs and seen everyone in the living room.

"Yeah I'm ready"  he grabbed my hand as we all walked outside.

My Prince or Princess hasn't come yet and it was well over due. I'm happy because August gets to come home today so he won't miss the birth. His lawyer said that the evidence doesn't point back to him nor Chris so today should be good.

"Why you seem nervous? chill" Taurus said rising up in his seat.

"I'm okay. I'm just ready to see him" I rubbed over my belly and took a breath.

Everyone took off from their life to be here for me and I appreciated it but I needed August, no one could fill that void but him. Thanksgiving was horrible, I stayed in August house holding on to his side of the bed ready for that empty space to be filled but I knew it wasn't.

I couldn't visit August due to me being pregnant and overdue for that matter. My doctor said it's so much bacteria in the visitation rooms that I couldn't risk my water breaking, and being open to infections. So I had to settle for phone calls and barely that. August didn't want to tell me but I knew they've been mistreating him in there.

As we arrived to the court house, I got out to face August family. They never left since he's been arrested and I thank god for that.

"How's everyone feeling?" Mama Sheila asked. She was the strongest out of the bunch. Even stronger in my eyes since it was Malcom's death date today.

"I'm okay"

"We good, we know the bros coming home today" Marcus said

"Drinks and strippers on me tonight" Trav said and I rolled my eyes at him

Jayda, Dess came and held my hand and I smiled at them. My support system was everything and I was so grateful for everyone.

"I'm ready to see my twin" Jeremiah said as we walked in and sat down.

The girls are at the hotel with Tiff, West and Jaylen because he didn't want the girls to see him like that. Or Jeremiah because he wanted to set an example but he is very stubborn.

As we sat down Me, Rico, Dess and Jayda sat behind Mama Sheila, Jeremiah, Cha, and Trav. While Taurus, Marcus, Future, and some others sat behind us.

I felt a hand rested on my anxious thigh.

"Everything is gonna be okay" Dess said. I heard a door open behind us and Karruche ran in and sat next to Marcus. I slightly smiled at her knowing Chris would be happy to see her.

"There twin and bro" Jeremiah said and my head immediately shot towards the front.

He still looked the same a tad bit different but not in a good way. My eyes followed him as he kept his head down. Chris nodded his head towards us and sat down immediately.

"Why isn't he looking at us ?" I questioned to no one in particular.

Knowing that he haven't seen us in a while, I would think he would want to see us. Maybe he's upset that today is his brother death date or he knows he's going to see us today.
