"Come on, come to daddy" he reached out his cold hands and I looked down at the dried blood that was smeared upon them. Closing my eyes, I prayed that he went away. As I moved my wrist and twisted my ankles the chains began to squeeze tighter."Don't be afraid" he whispered as his hands wondered my bare skin. My eyes clinched harder as his touch began to wonder to places he violated. I felt the tears roll down my face as I shook my head praying he won't touch me again.
"I won't hurt you" he said repeatedly as I felt the cold steel slipping away from my wrist and my ankles. As I opened my eyes I was fully clothed in a hospital bed. Looking over the room an uneasy feeling ran through my body as I looked to my left side. I seen August with his head in his hands. His hair was longer, like it was when we first met. I tired to say something, even scream but nothing came out and I couldn't move.
A rush of doctors came in the room and immediately came over to me. I harsh feeling started to build up in my stomach as they lifted my legs. Confusedly I started pushing as blood started spilling from my legs and onto my gown. They quickly wrapped a new born baby with white towels and handed it off to August in the corner. Not being able to see his face since my vision was a bit blurred i faintly reached for my baby as the doctors walked out with no words.
As I continued to reach it seemed he got further away from me. As tears flowed down my face; he looked up at me with a face I couldn't recognize. My heart dropped and my stomach sunk as he started walking out of the door. As my throat began to dry I sent out a gut wrench scream.
My chest heaved up and down as I took deep breathes. Wiping the sweat off of my face I tried my best to calm down. Shaking my hands violently I looked over and seen the left side of the bed empty; again. Taking a deep sigh over the repetitive actions of him, I reaching over to the nightstand and grabbing my phone, I went through a couple of my text messages and missed calls that i didn't answer yesterday, to keep my mind from over thinking about the reoccurring nightmares that I've been having. I tired to make meaning out of them but it felt like a dark hole. Reading over the text messages my mind began to ease.
Rico: what yo boujee ass doin?
PoloG: I wanna see my daughter gang 🙄
Dessy: i love and I miss you. Sorry I've been distant, I'll call you later
Jayda: Hey, I have some pieces I'm working on for the summer. It's inspired by Carnival season. Are your measurements the same ?
Myra: we have to talk. Are you free today ?
After responding to everyone text messages and laughing at most; Myra text kind of made me anxious. What could she want to about that it couldn't wait for another day?
Me to Myra: 4:30 okay?
Myra: Yeah my place?
Throwing the cover off of my body I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Chris kept Melody last night because he said I was exhausted, due to everything that was going on at the moment. I fought and wanted Melody but he insisted. August didn't come home last night again and I honestly was numb to this situation. Stepping into the shower I let the hot water run down my body and face before grabbing my body wash. After about 15 to 20 minutes I stepped out and looked into the mirror. I noticed the bags under my eyes were darker then usual. Rinsing my face with cold water i went back into my room and sat down at my vanity. Pinning my hair up I made it my mission to feel good today even if I knew I didn't.
Taking a deep breathe I pulled out everything I needed and started doing my makeup. Not too much. It just a little to hide my emotions that would pour out any second. After doing my makeup and I went into my closet and looked around for an outfit. Sighing I grabbed a cute simple dress that hugged my body. Slipping it on I looked in the mirror and rubbed my hands down my new profound curves that Melody gave me.
