Ch. 26 Reality

Wes's POV

I was packing for the tour when my agent called. "Hey Wes," he said. "What's up?" I said. "You and Ari have a couple interviews today, one at 12 and the other at 3. I need you to announce the tour okay?" He said.

"Sure thing is Ari allowed to come with me on this tour?" I said worried about what he would say. "Yeah bud, we talked it over with managers and they were cool with it!" He said. "Oh my gosh, thank you so much.

"We'll talk later," I said with a wide grin on my face. I hung up and then got up and walked to the living room. Ari was sitting on the sofa watching tv, I came behind her and wrapped my arms around her.

"Hey baby," I said kissing her forehead. "Hi," she said looking up at me smiling. "We have two more interviews today," I said. "Okay what time?" She said. "12 and 3," I said. "Okay I'll start getting ready," she said smiling at me.

I pressed my lips to her and then she got off the couch and started walking towards the bathroom. "Do you wanna join me?" She said winking at me. "Always," I said walking towards her quickly.

-Later that day at the interview-

Ari's POV 

"So are two happy?" The reporter asked. "Yes," we both said in unison. "Do you guys see kids in your future," she asked. "Of course! I can't wait to raise kids with the love of my life," Wes said smiling at me.

I smiled back and pecked his lips. "You guys are too cute! So there is a tour coming up am I right?" She said. "Yes, we leave in a week. We're super excited to be on tour again and play for our fans," he said grinning.

"Are you sad to be leaving your wife?" She said. "Well actually, the managers said I can bring her with me. If she wants to go," he said looking at me. He wants me to go with him on tour? Well it sounds great but, what am I going to do with my life? Am I not going to work, just go with Wes on tour?

"That sounds great," I said faking a smile. We wrapped up the interview and then left. "Hey babe, that didn't seem like a genuine smile. Do you not want to go?" He said looking at me. "It's just, I don't want to be that girl that does nothing.

Followers her husband around and doesn't do anything..I don't know what I want, I don't want to be away from you for that long..But, I also don't want to live in your shadow forever," I said looking at my feet.

"I never knew you felt that way, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't expect that you want to go with me, and you are an incredible woman. I don't want you to feel like you are living in my shadow." Wes said putting his hands on my hips.

"Do you think I'm going to be an amazing mother?" I said looking up at him. He chuckled and put his hands on my face, "I don't think, I know you will be an amazing mother." He said leaning in and kissing my lips.

Wes's POV 

I continued packing my things when my phone rang. I pulled it out of my pocket and it was Keaton, "Hey bro what's up?" I said. "Just calling to verify if you are bringing Ari," he said. I sighed, "Well actually she doesn't want to come with." "What? Why not?" He said.
