~Arielle's POV~
I woke up the next morning I could hear Wes snoring. It was cute, he was probably tired from me keeping him up the night before. I wriggled free from his arms even though I so desperately wanted to stay there.
I grabbed my phone and checked the time. 8:33am, I had seven text messages and a voicemail. I read the messages, 7:00 Where are you? 7:10 Bring Bella back to me! 7:30 You are so irresponsible. 8:00 If you are gone stay gone.. 8:05 I wish I never had you! You are a mistake.
I stopped reading after that one. I dialed my password so I could listen to the voicemail. "Press one to hear your message now." My hand was shaking as I pressed one.
"Arielle what the fuck is your problem!! You are so stupid, you are a mistake. Next time I see you, I will break you.." I started to cry dropping my phone onto the bed.
Wes jolted awake, he saw me crying and he grabbed my face and pulled it up to his. "Arielle what's wrong? What happened?" He looked so genuine, like he actually gave a shit about me.
"It's just my dad texted me a bunch of times asking where I was. Then he...Left me a voicemail saying I was a whore...and a mistake..and I can't come home-" I was crying even harder now.
"Babe don't listen to him he doesn't know what he is saying. He wants you to feel hurt. He isn't worth your tears." He grabbed my face and wiped my tears.
I smiled because, he actually made me feel better. Not one hundred percent but I didn't need one hundred percent. I got out of his bed and walked to his bathroom.
I tried to fix my hair but, I ended up just putting it in a messy bun. There was runny eyeliner all over my face. Oh god I looked like this in front of Wes.
I grabbed my makeup removing gel an slowly wiped all the makeup off my face. I was about to put some eyeliner in when Wes walked in. "Stop." "Excuse me?"
He took the eyeliner out of my hand and set it down. "You don't need make up silly." He have me a huge smile. We both stood there and then he grabbed me and pulled me close.
I wasn't going to try and pull away because, I didn't want to. He leaned in and so did I, then our lips met and it was magical. We stayed there for a while until I pulled away.
He gave me a pouty face and I just laughed. I walked out of the bathroom and out of his room towards Drew's room. I opened his door only to find an empty bed. Hm where could he be?
I went downstairs where I heard laughing. Bella's laughter, it was a relieving sound considering what had happened yesterday. Drew was in the kitchen flipping pancakes and making jokes with Bella.
Drew was so good with kids, it's like it came naturally to him. "Look who finally decided to wake up!" Drew smirked at me. Bella yelled, "Ari!"
I ran over to her and picked her up in my arms smiling. "Hi Bella! How are you today?" She smiled at me, "Great, we are making breakfast." I smiled and set her back down on the bar stool.
Drew put some pancakes on a plate and told Bella to come help him. She got up and he had put three pancakes on a plate, he handed the plate to her then said something.
She skipped over to me and handed me the plate smiling. "Here you go!" "Thanks Bella bear." I ruffled her hair and sat down at one of the bar stools.
She seemed so happy, like nothing could ruin her mood right now. She looked so much like our mom, gosh it was weird. I missed my mom so much. More than I had ever.
I ate my food and I heard Wes come down the stairs. He was rubbing his eyes, I felt bad I had kept him up most of the night. "Morning everyone." He smiled warmly at all of us.
