Chapter 14: Big News

~Wes's POV~

Seeing her shake and be in so much pain was killing me, I wanted more than anything to just take her in my arms and take care of her. She had been at Drew's for the passed few weeks and he never told me. I understand that she wants to take care of me but, I need to be able to talk care of her. 

Drew helped her get up and brought her to the couch, he grabbed a glass of water and set it on the table in front of her. "You should clean up your face." I heard her say to him, he agreed and walked off to the bathroom. I got up from where I was and walked over to the couch towards her. 

"Can I sit here?" I said. "No one's stopping you.." I knew she was angry at me for getting into a fight with Drew. "Ari I am so sorry for fighting, I was just angry and I let the anger get the best of me I'm so sorry." "You shouldn't be apologizing I should be, I'm sorry Wes." 

Tears filled her eyes and I scooted closer to her, she cuddled into my lap. The feeling of having her back in my arms made me the happiest boy on this earth. "Don't apologize you were just trying to protect me that's all." "I know.." She started coughing violently choking and gasping for air. 

"Babe? Baby drink some water!" I reached for the water and handed it to her, instead she pushed it away got off my lap and ran towards the bathroom. I got up and started after her, she ran into the bathroom and straight to the toilet. 

She coughed and blood spewed into the toilet, I ran to her and rubbed her back. "It's okay baby everything will be alright." After a couple minutes she had stopped coughing but was now violently shaking. Drew came in with a aspirin, blankets, pillows, and water. 

"Thanks man, sorry I hit you I don't know what came over me." "It's okay I get it, I should have told you but your lady here wanted to keep you safe." "I know and thanks for keeping her safe and taking care of her." "No problem man, we are going to get her better." 

We smiled at each other and then he walked off. I told her to take the aspirin she agreed and then I wrapped her in a blanket and laid her down. I laid down next to her and she cuddled into my chest. 

"We need to take you to the doctors babe." She pushed away from me and I saw fear in her eyes. "No he will find us, he will kill you and Bella and-" "Hey stop that, if we don't I don't know what's going to happen to you. He won't find us you I will keep you safe I promise. We need to go to the doctors, tomorrow." 

She signed in defeat and finally agreed as long as Drew would stay with Bella at his house and keep her safe. She cuddled back into me and fell asleep, her breathing was labored. I rubbed her back and held her close to me never wanting to let her go. 

~Ari's POV~ 

Wes was making me go to the doctors, I really didn't want to go but I wasn't getting any better. We woke up at eight in the morning, it was the most sleep I had gotten in weeks. We got dressed and Bella came over. I smiled and she tried to hug me but I backed away. I saw confusion in her eyes as I backed away. 

"Baby you can't hug me I'm very sick and I don't want to get you sick." "Ari are you going to be okay?" Wes came up behind me and said, "I'm going to go and get her all better Bella Bear." "Really?" I saw as her eyes lit up it made me smile. 

"Yes m'am! It might take a while but, we are going to get her better!" Wes smiled and gave her a hug. "Ready babe?" "I guess..." I thanked Drew for watching Bella and Keaton Wes and I all headed off to the doctors. 

When we got there Wes signed me and I took a seat next to Keaton. "It will be okay, just try and relax Wes and I are here for you Ari." "Thank you so much Keats it really means a lot." I tried to relax and then Wes came over and sat next to me. 

He saw I was nervous and grabbed my hand lacing our fingers together. I calmed down and started to relax and then they called my name to go in. Keaton stayed outside to keep watch and it made me really nervous but he assured me everything would be fine. 

When we got in the room the doctor took a bunch of tests and said he would be back after he got the tests back in a few minutes. Wes sat there with me telling me everything was going to be alright. 

Finally after what seemed like forever the doctor came back in. "After doing many tests we have come to the conclusion that you have phenomena, and a pretty severe case of it at that." "Am I contagious?" "No it's been in your system for too long you should be fine." 

I sighed in relief, no wonder I hadn't gotten Drew sick. "I'm going to prescribe you some medication, you should be feeling better in a matter of weeks." I smiled and thanked at him and he disappeared again to get the paperwork. 

The doctor seemed to be taking a lot longer than he should have and I started to get very nervous. Wes held me close and told me everything was fine. Finally the doctor came back in and he had a look on his face. 

"Arielle, I have something to tell you and I don't know how well you are going to take it." My heart started to pound in my chest, I could feel it in my ears. What was he going to tell me? I was more sick than they thought? Cancer? All these thoughts raced through my mind as those words escaped his lips.

"What is it doc?" Wes said looking at him with concern in his eyes. "One of your tests we took, remember to check to see if you had any ovarian cysts and we found something." "What did you find?" I finally cracked I wanted to know.

"Arielle, you're pregnant." My mouth dropped open and so did Wes's. I couldn't formulate words or anything. "You are about a month a long but you being this sick is very dangerous for the baby. I need to prescribe some different medications and I need to give you some precautions and a diet list. I will give you two a few minutes come out when you are ready and meet me at the front desk." 

With that the doctor walked out, I couldn't believe what he had told me. Wes turned and looked at me, he took my hands in his and said, "Babe are you okay?" I just stared at him not saying a word, I couldn't be pregnant Wes and I were both so young and he had a future ahead of him.
