~Arielle's POV~

The first place the boys took us was a little frozen yogurt place across from the beach. They seemed to come here a lot seeing as all the workers seemed to know them. Wes kept arguing with me telling me he would pay for the frozen yogurt.

I thought it was cute but, I didn't want him thinking he had to take care of me. After many grumpy faces I finally gave in. He seemed quite pleased with himself. Bella was super happy. I hadn't seen her this happy since my mom was around.

She was laughing and Drew was telling her some funny story. Wes and I talked about many things, we just got to know each other better. We were sitting across from each other and he kept playing with my feet.

The first time he did it I blushed. I thought it was cute, he made me nervous to be honest. He was so nice and sweet I didn't want to screw it up.

My last relationships weren't exactly perfect. I was with this guy named Ian for seven months and he cheated on me multiple times. I wasn't going to subject myself to that anymore though.

Wes seemed different though, it actually seemed like he genuinely cared about me and Bella. It was nice to feel like someone cared for me for once.

The second place we went was the park. We skated there a while, Drew and Keaton helped Bella skate. They were so good with her. I had only known them for a couple of hours and I already trusted them.

Wes and I again just talked about many different things, we kept getting to know each other. I really liked talking to him. I tried to do a trick and he was watching me, it made me nervous.

I fell off my board backwards and he caught me in his arms. I felt safe there, I felt complete in his arms. Why was I feeling this way? I had only known this boy a couple hours and I always already falling head over heels for him.

After the park the last place we headed was the beach. Drew and Keaton helped Bella build a sand castle. I sat down by the water watching my first California sunset.

It was kind of cold and I guess I was shaking. A few seconds later a figure plopped down next to me and said, "Are you cold?" "N-not r-really." I said through my chattering teeth.

Wes laughed at me and proceeded to take his jacket off and give it to me. I put it on zipping it up, it was so warm. I felt bad though, wasn't he cold now?

"Aren't you cold now though?" "No I'm used to this weather!" "Oh yeah right you have lived her longer haha." "Yeah, how was your first day in Huntington?"

"Pretty great thanks to you," I said nudging Wes. He chuckled, then he looked at me and said something I was not expecting. "I had a lot of fun hanging out with you today, you are an amazing girl. Maybe we could do this again, just you and I though?"

I was completely shocked. No one had ever treated me this way before, like they actually cared for me. He must have thought he freaked me out because, he said, "Oh we don't have to..." He was looking down at the sand now.

"No, I want to. I'm just...it's just no one has ever cared about me like this before. I'm a little shocked," I said kind if embarrassed. Wes grabbed my hand and laced his fingers through mine. "How could they not care for you, you are amazing. And on top of that, adorable." He said winking at me.

We sat there watching the sun go down. I checked the time, "Oh shit! It's way past Bella's bed time." "Do you want to get going?" "I don't want to, I need to.." "Okay we can go then."

He started to get up and he let go of my hand. I missed his touch already. I looked at him and he said, "I didn't want to freak you out.." "No, I really liked holding your hand."
