LADY SATANS

part 1

The dimly lit room painted with the bore white colour ....reflecting the hopelessness of the people contained in it ...the paint peeling itself off the bricks revealing the red colour that resembled the rust....similar to the rust growing on the hearts of the captives of this doomed room ....the slight noise of the fan whirling above their heads prevented them from being able to hear each other's breaths ...was life really this despicable for them ?...was this their fate?...those bunch of undergraduates girls ?...was life really this cruel for them ?...none of them actually knew what they were supposed to do now ...as the hopelessness and despair crowded their minds ...their tongues halted their work ...as all of them stared into the deep air as if they were mannequins ...not even breathing ..as the silence grew over their existences ..the silent girl holding back her tears...sitting besides the bed with her arms tucked around her knees ....finally played her role in breaking the long silence of hatred ....despair ..... helplessness..and hopelessness....as her tears finally gave up bursting from her dark brown eyes ...creating a slight sobbing sound in the silence ...no one even flinched ...the seven girls that sat there in despair didn't bother as now it was a routine for them to witness each other sob and curse ...as if the world didn't quite matter for them at all ..the other cute girl with innocence dripping from her pale round face and eyes that rather showed another story finally looked at the sobbing girl with annoyance...as if she was tired of all the sobbing sounds ...trying her best to contain the anger and annoyance withing her tiny existence she exhaled sharply finally giving up ....shouting with her soft voice she startled everyone dragging them out of their despair train of thoughts ..

Lucy: "Stop it, Scarlett. It's been a whole month."

A month ?...yeah she was right it had been a whole month ..the cute girl named Lucy was right ..it had been a whole month ...then why did it feel like it had been only a few seconds ...were they ever going to heal from what had happened?...that was not even the question!..what were they even supposed to do now ?..another petite girl with shoulder length cut and maturity dripping from her existence looked at Lucy with a bit disappointed expressions ... understanding that every human copes with trauma in different way....some cry ....some become distant ....some hide inside their shell ...while other let their frustrations out on others .... speaking in a rather complaining tone the mature little girl spoke

Henley : " Lucy !not everyone is strong .Atleast don't be mean ok "

While the girl with grey eyes named Melissa and the one with dead blue eyes named Billie stared through the wall as if enough staring would bring back time ....as if enough staring would reverse the clock and bring the happy memories...staring into the wall as if unaware of the situation a few dew drops glistened near their eyes

Another girl named Anna probably the oldest of them slept peacefully on the bed as if the sobbing ...shouting didn't bother her ...or maybe she was pretending it didn't bother ...while another one was trying her best to breath ....as her breaths became even more uneven Henley patted Olivia .

Scarlett again spoke still sobbing as if trying to do something...as if trying to question something that shouldn't have happened..as if she already knew the answer but still had to exclaim the question out loud ..

Scarlett: " I can't believe I.... I just can't believe why did police close the case.  Is their no humanity left? "

Lucy again with her anger and frustration spoke as if she wanted to argue....doubting Scarlett's thinking abilities..
"stop it scarlett. Stop crying please. It doesn't help the situation. Don't you have brain. Can't you figure out why police closed the case "

Henley: " Lucy ! Relax it's ok. Scarlett they closed the case....."

Her pure hearted soft existence couldn't bare but explain the situation to Scarlett who was not only his cousin but someone who was more of a little sister to her ....as she started speaking trying to explain to Scarlett..Lucy with again frustration and maybe a little guilty for shouting on Scarlett spoke herself explaining what would have happened
