But before any words could even make their way from the organ stored in his skull to the organ capable of destroying people without any physical harm ....a miracle happened ...as if the universe had provided him with yet another chance to live his life....he had never thought the monster who stood ahead of him would be the one delivering such beautiful words from the venomous mouth of his ....he spoke in his deep yet pinching voice.
Adien :" but something is very odd....you told me there would be people of all ages and gender.... didn't you ?...yet I couldn't even get a single glimpse of any young girl there ?....are there no young girls in this family ?..."
As those melodious words started making sense Eunwoo took a deep satisfying breath as half of his worries had been taken care of ...maybe Melissa and the other girls were wise enough to hide somewhere somehow .....but still it was impossible to escape the monster that had the ability to smell fear and track down its prey from miles away ... As curiosity gradually embraced his brain be finally took a deep breath as it was still better than the guilt he had been feeling of leading the monster to his own castle and loosing the battle without even lifting his weapon ..
Eun woo:" maybe ...they would be somewhere else ...but you still got your hands on the other people right ?....does that mean that I fulfilled your demands and this is the time for you completing my demand ?...is it brother ?" ..
His lips turned into a huge grin ...a vicious one ....his cold blue eyes turned into a dark brown shade due to the evil devil that dangled in them ...
" Sure ...go ahead live your life ....try to run ...run away from the devil that dwells within your shell....but Eunwoo mark my words ....you can't run away from him no matter how hard you try ...in the end ,the shadow your eyes would see ....the reflection of your existence that would collide with your lens would be a stranger for you.....so accept him as soon as possible and join hands with me .!"
As those words collided with his ears a soul drenching wave of shivers travelled across his spine ....the kind of goosebumps he felt at that moment were almost undescribable....
The slight smile his lips had formed disappeared as he now looked at his brother ,but was he there ??...were those words actually said by his brother ?...he looked like his brother ..he had the same ice blue eyes then why??...then why did it feel like it was another creature speaking from the darkness dwelling inside his soul ..gulping the saliva that felt like water mixed with sand , Eunwoo left the place with a promise of never returning there ...he had stained his hands with an unforgivable sin for Melissa...or was it an exuse ?..did he really do that for Melissa ?..or for himself?..
Present.
Someone had held his throat as Adien...the devil ...the snakes eyes walked towards the girl covered with the sack ....muffled sound of resistance arose from beneath the sack but the only thing that made Eunwoo aware of what he had done was when Adien with a swift movement of his hand pulled the sack of her face revealing her beautiful grey eyes that held rage and confusion within the smoke they carried ....a piece of tape across her lips and the stray strands of her Brown hair drenched in sweat ...as she squinted her eyes from the sudden bright light ..his eyes expanded with disbelief....he had come there to beg his brother .....to beg him to help him find his love but ....but he was the one holding his heart in his fist ...he was the villain of his story ....as Melissa's eyes met with Eunwoo 's ...the fire glistening amid the smoke of her eyes...was distinguished as disbelief and regret now shone brightly in her eyes .....TIME STOPPED !!!!!
Everything around them had now become blurry....the light above her head moving because of the slight air !.... Adien in the background with the devil within his existence finally showing as he laughed uncontrollably..!..everything was blur ...the only things alive felt in the moment was her ....her and the man in front of him ..the one she thought was atleast sincere with him ....she had doubts !!..she had doubts that he was the one who was the cause of her family's disappearance but only she knew. .....only she knew how much prayers she had made ...made for all of this to magically turn into a misunderstanding.... Eunwoo could do something like this?...the person she called her best friend could really do something like that?...his past trauma ?..he was such a sweet soul then what did she miss?....what was the thing her eyes couldn't see??...
she still wanted to believe that all of this was a misunderstanding ....she wanted to believe that she was hallucinating ...she was ready to accept that her mind was creating images and she was going crazy ....accepting that was easier than what fate wanted her to accept ...but the regret !!..the damn visible regret in his brown eyes just confirmed his betrayal...last of hope left in her heart ...the last strings of hope that were keeping her heart from shattering were just pulled apart by his existence leaving nothing but shreds ...her mouth still slightly parted as the smoke had now turned into a pool of mud due to the small drops of sacred liquid forming on the edges of her eyes blurring her vision .....so now she was no longer able to see anything except her own tears .. releasing a deep exhale, pulling herself out of the moment she now visibly exhaled again ...his shouders dropped further ...as his heart was now certain that the girl he loved was never going to forgive him ever again ....he had broken something he was unable to mend ....
meanwhile at the warehouse
His trembling hand grabbed the corner of the white sheet possibly stained with the blood ....the blood that was his own ...if it really was the blood of the existence he thought ...that blood was soon going to be stained with his own cause he felt like every vein and artery of his body was at the verge of bursting open ....and if it was really Melissa underneath the sheet and the blood belonged to her ,he was going to die there and then .....strongly biting his lips ...preventing himself from trembling further,he squeezed his eyes to clear his blurring vision as with a jerk he took off the sheet .....and the time stopped!! ...his panting,trembling existence finally halted as he mindlessly stared at the dead body of another woman .....a woman he did not recognize ....and suddenly his soul was half back in his existence and he knew he would be able to breath without halting only once he finds Melissa ,his soul would be completely back only when he sees her .....still sitting on one knee besides the dead body ..he picked up the ring and clenched his fist stained with the red liquid....staring the dead body he debated who took Melissa then !....someone who was enough aware of his mind ..enough to figure out that the ring would be containing GPS tracker .. who could do this ?....and then those blue eyes flashed in front of his eyes ....his confused face now turning red and the vein of his forehead started pulsating ...aggressively standing he clenched the ring even strongly as now he rushed out the warehouse ....heading towards the penthouse ...it was the time ....for his plan except for the fact that the plan had been altered a little .....was it going to be a better thing or a worse ?......
