part 38

Melissa was in her room. Or to be precise in taehyung's room. He was always out of his room so that she would always feel comfortable. She passed by the mirror and her eyes took a glance of how she looked and god her hair was entangled. She tried to remember the last time she brushed her hair. So she picked up the brush and started brushing her hair slowly looking into her reflection. Her eyes went to her lips and her brushing hands slowed down gradually. A slight smile came on her lips remembering taehyung's soft lips on her 's. But the realization hit that she was smiling because of his kiss. Her smile faded away and she slowly placed the brush on the dressing. Her hands began tracing the subtle mark on her lips and hands and surprisingly,the only thing she remembered was taehyung's soft and warm kisses. As if the existence of lee park was erased from her mind. The only thing confusing was her smile. Why was she smiling ?  Someone's knocked the door pulling her out of her overthinking mind.

Now who the hell was knocking ? 

Namjoon's deep voice came from behind
: May I come in Melissa ?"

Melissa hesitated. Why was he trying to come in now ?

Melissa :" yes !"

Namjoon came inside and glanced at Melissa who was already looking at him with questions in her eyes.

Namjoon :" oh ! I just came to take a file. !"

Melissa just nodded her head and started brushing her hair again. Namjoon advanced towards taehyung's side table and pulled the drawer taking out a file. His eyes went towards his window which was closed.

Namjoon :" did you close the window?"

Melissa looked at him as if she didn't understand what he was trying to say.

Then looked at the window.

Melissa:" oh that ! No I didn't. That's been close for I don't know forever I guess. I think taehyung closed it !!'

And then namjoon was just standing in front of her with his mouth slightly opened.

Melissa asked with confusion.

:" Why is the window being closed by taehyung Soo surprising ??"

Namjoon:" taehyung feels suffocated.  He needs ventilation that's why his windows are always open. It's surprising that the window is closed and  on top of that he did that on his own !! Why did he though ?"

Melissa:" I don't know. It's been closed  since I saw the lizard ......."

And then the realization hit her. He. Closed the window because she was afraid of lizards and the lizard came in. He was feeling suffocated all this time because of her. Why would he do that ? Did he really love her that much !! This made her feel guilty for rejecting him. But she was confused. She had major trust and attachment issues. Namjoon had already left.

Taehyung was at his usual spot the window at the end of hallway lost in his own world when Jin called his name.

Jimin  :" taehyung!"

Taehyung:" hmm !'
Without looking at Jin ,still facing the window he answered in the smallest possible word wich was hmm, not even a word.

Jimin  :" Olivia and Jin hyung  have hacked the cameras. They  have worked on them but the passcodes are still a problem. We'll have to kidnap a few people. What about Kim chi ?"

Taehyung:" forget about kimchi. I don't want to risk the whole plan. Let's kidnap the other 3. Send Anna and jhope to kidnap them. Tell them about their schedule and whatever information they need. "

Jimin  :" okay! Boss!"

Jimin flew right to jhope's room but to his surprise he wasn't there. Okay where can he be ? Maybe in the terrace. While walking past Olivia's room he heard passive aggressive voice of Olivia almost yelling in low tone. He knocked on the door and entered only to find jhope and Olivia there. Olivia looked mad while jhope looked like a poor little cat. Jimin's eyes were expanded with lots of questions. Olivia gave jhope another death stare before stomping out of her room.

Jimin :" okay what was that about ?"

Jhope just looked at him with sadness
:" Nothing !"

Jimin became a little too excited. He jumped a little and held jhope by both his shoulders. Poor jhope who was about to leave the room was startled at jimin's sudden move.

With his eyes wide open he looked. With confusion in jimin's eyes.

Jimin :" hyung ! Are you two dating. Olivia and you ! Did you just have a couple fight ? You don't need to hide your relationship. Billie and me ,Anna  and Jin hyung are not hiding. So you don't need to hide it either and it's Soo..."

Jhope placed his finger on Jimin 's lips and dragged him out of his imaginary world.

Jhope :" Jimin ! Stop ! It's not even close to what you are thinking. It's nothing like that with Olivia. Didn't you see the way she looks at me. She makes me feel Soo guilty for kidnapping her. She won't ever forgive me !"

Jimin's excitement settled like the foam on the coke after pouring it in the glass. His smile faded and he looked into jhope's eyes. There was pain in his eyes , something he couldn't explain something even jhope couldn't explain.

He slowly raised his hands from jhope's shoulders and let him go.he saw those tears in his eyes. The tears of god knows what.

Jimin then said in low tone.
" God knows what's happening in this penthouse. Someone is getting his heart break and someone is getting into relationship. Someone is living in his past and someone is just living in their future. !!'

He then took a long deep breath ,feeling bad for both jhope and taehyung. Taehyung's love was too obvious. Melissa totally changed him. His life now looked like a life not a living death. And then she rejected him for god knows what reasons. And now jhope ,he probably fell for Olivia or maybe not. Maybe he just felt guilty. It was how he was ! A sunshine ,a people pleaser.

While passing through the lobby ,he saw Billie coming towards him. A wide smile came on his pouty lips. What kind of magic was that ? 

Billie approached him with her usual cold expressions and cold eyes. Jimin's warm smile vanished within seconds because she pushed him towards the wall putting her hands on both sides of the wall. Jimin was confused for a minute but then a smirk came on his lips.

Jimin:" what's your order for me my queen ?"

Billie looked right in his eyes and said in low angry but seductive voice.

:" Did you look at Anna and Jin. She was telling me the other day,Jin proposed my sister. They are a proper couple and what have we done !"

Jimin's smirk grew deeper.

" Hmm my queen ? Are you asking me out on a date !"

Billie 's eyes grew dark.

" Did I sound like I was asking ?"

Jimin :" definitely not my queen ! I need to give a message to your sister and jhope and then we are free. Meet me in your room ..."

And then he looked at the hallway. Someone was standing there and fear arose in his eyes. Billie saw that fear and turned her head to see taehyung standing there in confusion and then a cold expression brushed past his face.  Billie backed off immediately and stood besides Jimin.

Taehyung approached them with slow steady steps and his usual cold walk and expressions. Approaching them he looked at both of them with disappointment.

Taehyung :" why are you two always flirting in the hallway or living room or maybe kitchen and always against the wall ?'

His question was serious or maybe not. It was funny how he was such a different person when he wasn't around melissa.his coldness almost pierced through the opponent.

Jimin :" umm well..."

Taehyung stopped him from talking by raising his one hand slowly.

:" Did you do what I had asked you to ?"

Jimin now looked at his shoes with silence.

Then he suddenly ran and within seconds he disappeared in one of the rooms.

Taehyung looked at Billie with all seriousness he has in him.

':" come with me ! I need to talk to you about something very important!!"

And chills went down her spines. He was the only one to make her feel dominated .......
