part 97

The penthouse.

The eyes... once capable of dragging Taehyung's existence into the blue ocean of its realm, were now worthless as he had found his moon. For a moment, the storm of obsession in the sea of Layla's eyes demolishing her soul subsided, creating a silence  just like the  vast emptiness of space..
A silence , she hadn't experienced since her birth. It felt like life had no purpose left in its being. She had been deceived by Taehyung, but what else  she should have  expected? That was the thing most painful for her! The fact that she couldn't see things this evident... she had tempted his being towards the sky- blue of her ocean, knowing damn well that he would drown, and he drowned. when he was at the verge of death, the Ashen moon,known as Melissa .. glistering in the heavens raised those waves and salvaged him. The waters of Layla had no idea that he had been rescued .It had failed to remember those honey brown eyes of his... until she witnessed him smiling while lost in the moon, his saviour,his Melissa . And then the moon....it sparked a tsunami in her sea. Amidst the raging storm ,noise and  disorder of the tsunami, she overlooked the fact that it was only harming her soul because his existence had already ascended the mountains to remain close to his moon ...his hero ...his soul...his Melissa!

Lost in the comprehension of her mistake, she couldn't observe Billie and Lucy advancing towards her. Jerking into reality as those small, delicate hands with miraculous strength of Lucy dragged her existence into the basement, and the storm... it resumed it's chaos as she now roared  at the top of her lungs while combating

"YAAA!... YOU BITCHES!!... LEAVE ME ALONE... DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME... TAEHYUNG?... BABY?... HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME?"

Little did she know, he heard those words, but was he listening?... No!!... His entire world was dark as it was embraced by an eclipse he had no idea would leave his soul or not ..

Both Billie and Lucy dragged her mercilessly into the torture room... tying her ruthlessly to the chair without taking into account her screams. Lucy rolled her eyes while letting out an exasperated gasp.

Lucy: "Should I put duct tape on her lips?"

Billie, with her usual expressionless, unbothered face, exclaimed, "Feel free to do anything, just make it a bit quick... we have to save Melissa and... our families."

Ending her sentence with a slight hint of pain on her face, she left the room, while Lucy again let out a huge exhale while cutting the duct tape... Layla continuously yapped random things while trying to break free from the ropes. Lucy, while again rolling her eyes, now came really close to her face and placed the duct tape on her lips. Layla now glared at Lucy with hatred... brushing a strand of her burnt blonde hair with her delicate finger, Lucy spoke in a sarcastic cute tone,

"Be thankful to Melissa... because of her abduction, I don't have the time and mood to do something filthy to you... but I promise, my little toy!... I am going to apply all those methods of torture I had been thinking of, on you!"

For a brief moment ,her entity halted and a slight shadow of fear emerged in her eyes. Lucy without taking into account Layla's fear left the room ,she had a very important thing to do.  Emotions she wasn't even sure of arose in her heart ...Thrill!..Suspense ! ...Fear ..all this caused adrenaline to shoot down her being ..

Entering the lounge she witnessed everyone getting ready for the fight ahead ... something they had been planning for days ...no! for months ! ..if only Melissa hadn't been kidnapped ,their plan would have gone perfect. Taking a deep breath,she made an eye contact with Henley. A slight fear emerged on Henley's face ..not for herself but for the others ...for her cousins ...for Suga! ...for Melissa ...for Taehyung ...! ..they were jumping into the sea of fire with limited sources...only fate would decide if all of them would be able to make it or not ! ...

Henley gently blinked and with those black eyes of hers ,she comforted Lucy ! ...the girl that was supposed to eat chocolates and play in the flower garden ...was going on a war with guns and daggers ! ...

All of them dressed in the black leather shirts and trousers with a lot of pockets ...some of them were tying their shoes ,others putting daggers where they are supposed to be ...

Suga briefly glanced at Henley with eyes full of worry ...eyes that had recently begun to show emotion ! ..
Taking slow steps ,he ran his fingers through his black long hair ....stopping few inches away from Henley ,he cleared his throat to grab her attention. She who was immensely emerged in the task of tying her shoes ,looked at him and slightly smiled ...a smile ! That conveyed assurance ! ..assurance of wellness! ..but her smile did nothing as he almost whispered in his rough yet sophisticated tone ..

" Don't come with us Henley !"

Her mono lid eyes slightly expanded upon his words ! ..was he being serious at that critical moment or was he being funny or something...witnessing and understanding her shock and confusion ,he cleared his throat again and spoke in clear words this time ..

" Don't come with me Henley ! ..all of you ! ...girls ! ...don't ! ....please !"

His tone became pleading towards the end of the sentence ..as if he was begging her ...Henley 's eyes expanded even more and now coming out of the shock she glanced towards the others to make sure no one heard what he said ....looked back into his eyes and out of the blue grabbed his strong masculine hands with her delicate tiny one ....dragging him out of the lounge ,she entered his room and closed the door behind her ...stared right into his eyes with slight lines of anger on her forehead ! .. and interrogated like an inspector

Henley :" why ? ..."

His entity came out of the sudden shock of her hauling him and now he cleared his throat again as if nervous ...only she had the ability to make suga hesitate ..

Suga :" Henley ! ...how can I explain this to you ! ..I can't loose you Henley ...I just can't afford to loose you at all ! ...loosing you is not in my vocabulary. Henley! Look into my eyes ...this dark world of my soul ,it doesn't have any stars  ,it doesn't have any source of light at all. It is Soo DAMN dark in here Henley ! "

His voice trembled a little and a few drops of tears glittered in his eyes. Taking a huge breath ,he calmed his panting existence while looking towards the ceiling to control his tears !

" Henley!...it's Soo damn dark in here ,that I had lost myself amid the darkness! I looked for myself for years in this pitch black space  and yet I wasn't able to find myself ...the only source of illumination in here !"

He stopped and pointed his finger towards his heart and spoke in a trembling voice ..
" Is you !.only your light was able to illuminate my soul enough ..enough for me to find myself ...I can not afford to loose you Henley ! Please understand! ..I am now afraid of the pitch black darkness my soul was once immersed in ...so ..don't come with us ! ..I beg you ! "

And her eyes .....they showed something! ...

Well this chapter is a bit simple and didn't reveal much but I promise next will be holding little secrets for you ..with a special scene!
