Chapter 7

BIBLE'S POV

I just came out from the kitchen to eat breakfast but I changed my mind and plan to go back to our room.

Today, I am going back to work after my long vacation. And that is two weeks, the longest vacation I get since I get married.

Because my dad forced me to work since that day. He told me that I need to be responsible for what happened to Bui.

"Bui Sumettikul, you know how dangerous what you are doing, right?" I called Bui when I saw him using his phone while going downstairs.

Then he quickly put his phone in his pocket then hold the handlebar after he heard me, smiling at me cheekily.

"You are still here?" he asked then started walking down again.

"Yeah, I'm waiting for you," I told him and leaned on the wall near the staircase.

I'm not really waiting for him because I'm planning on going to our room and my son's room to check on him and ask him something.

"Why?" he asked me confused and even stop at the last step and lean on the handlebar.

"Jeff is asking me to take you with me tonight, cause it's his birthday. He wants you to come." I informed him, and I hope he will say yes.

This is the first time I asked him to go out with me after six years of being married.

Even on his birthday or our anniversary, I didn't ask him to go somewhere to celebrate.

I just bought him gifts, and that's all.

"Do I need to?" He asked me with a confused look.

"Up to you," I shrug but I want him to come and have some fun too.

It's been a week since we meet his father but I can still see the small bruises on my knees.

I never thought that I'm going to experience some punishment like that.

"What time?" He asked then he continued walking to the kitchen so I followed him there.

"9 probably,"

"Okay, I still have time to think," he said then grab the plastic bottle of milk from the fridge and pour on the glass.

He is going to prepare breakfast for Bibu.

"Just let me know when I come back from the office. I'm going now, see you later," I told him and was ready to leave.

"Okay bye, take care," he said but he didn't look at me after saying that and continued preparing breakfast for our son.

Today is also his first day at the nursery too.

When I'm in the lounge nearby the door, I heard Bui calling at me.

"Bib, wait," he yelled while hearing footsteps like he was running towards me, so I stopped and wait for him.

"What gift should I buy?" he asked me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Your buying gifts for him?" Now it's my turn to ask, and I'm also confused because they are not even that close.

Why does he need to buy him a gift?

"Yeah, what does he like? And I'm not buying for him. I'm just buying it for you 'cause I'm using your money, remember?" he said smiling so cheekily.

"Cute," I whispered staring at him.

"What did you say?" he even come closer to my face and ask that question.

My heartbeat started beating faster because of his actions, and I swallow my saliva because he is way close to me and now I can't stop looking at his lips.
