Chapter 10

BIBLE'S POV

I suppose to go out of town for a business meeting but my dad already declined the invitation. Because he already cut ties with those people in business because of the allegations he received from them.

They want to blame others for their wrongdoings towards my dad and our company.

And my dad does not want to ruin our company's reputation because of them. So as one of the board members I need to attend the general meetings.

It's good that my dad was clever in terms of business. He deals with the problem just like nothing happened.

And the rest of the board members favored what my dad wants.

My dad concluded to remove their share from our company. And that's the end of the story of why I showed up at Bui's reunion without telling him.

Now, I'm packing our stuff to bring with us.

I lied to my father that Bui and I were going to have our honeymoon for our seventh anniversary.

But the truth is I need to take Bui out of the house because he doesn't seem okay.

And any minute now he is going to break down.

The only thing that makes him hold his tears by now was the presence of my father and BiBu.

Even I was shocked when he collapsed after hearing those words.

Even if he didn't tell me, I already connected everything.

The guy who sang on Jeff's birthday was his ex.

Now I'm having so many questions in mind, but I can't get an answer now that Bui was not fine at all.

"Dad, we're leaving. BiBu you have to listen to Dada Piya okay," I shouted reminding our son when we were already in the car.

And Bui just waves his hand at them smiling too.

After closing my window, Bui started sobbing uncontrollably until we reach our destination.

His eyes were bloodshot after 30 minutes of nonstop crying.

I took him to one of the hotels just to escape from our son and my dad.

Bui didn't say anything when I told him in the morning that we were going out.

Because he seems like his mind is out of this world at the moment.

After entering our room I guided him to sit down on the bed but he said he wants to seat on the balcony, so I took him there.

After seating, the tears were falling nonstop again.

I don't know how many tears did he cry now.

I want to tell him to stop, but I know he won't listen to me.

So I will leave him for now, and let him cry everything out.

"It's all my fault. Everything was my fault," he said whimpering while hugging his knees.

I want to hug him and tell him it was not but my heart was also hurting.

Because there is a possibility that he and his ex were gonna get back soon.

"Bib," I heard him call me.

"Hmmm," I answered and sat next to him this time.

But I refrained myself not to hug him or saying anything.

Then he fixed himself and sat down properly.

"Bib, it hurts," he whimpered while looking into my eyes.
