BIBLE'S POV

The meeting finally ended after three hours.

"Sir, your phone keeps on ringing while you are in the meeting," my secretary informed me and handed me my phone.

When I checked my call log, all the calls are from Bui.

I feel anxious because he didn't send me any messages. Usually, he will send me tons of messages after not answering his calls.

Then I saw a new number called me too, and now I'm getting suspicious about it.

I tried to call Bui's number, but I'm not expecting who answer my call.

"Hello," my heart beating goes faster now that I heard his ex's voice from his phone.

"Where is Bui?" I asked nervously while doing finger cross and walking back and forth.

My heart is ticking like a bomb now that I know they are together.

"You have to come to the hospital," my heart left out my chest after hearing what he said. And I need to hold onto the edge of the table for support because my knees felt weak and started trembling because of anxiousness.

"What happened to him?" my voice even crack, but I need to calm myself down.

"No need to worry he is fine now," he wants to comfort me but it's not working at all.

Who will believe that someone is okay when they took someone to the hospital? If he is really okay, they will not bring him there.

My anxiety is getting worse now.

"Tell me where is he," then I run out of the conference room and went down the building.

I ask the chauffeur to bring my car then went to the hospital where Mile told me earlier.

I didn't mind the traffic and fines, as long I can go and check Bui's conditions. That's the most important thing to me now, to know that he is fine.

After entering the hospital, I quickly ask the information about where are Bui and they told me he is in his room now, on the 5th floor.

I quickly run to the elevator but to my luck, it's all occupied. So what I did is I used the stairs instead.

I took three steps at a time to arrive quickly in Bui's room.

I stop for a moment when I saw the number of his room because I'm already out of breath.

After calming down for a few minutes, I need to brace myself again for what I am going to see when I enter his room.

I slowly open the door and peep inside, and there is Bui, with some IV on him.

I run to him but I don't know whether to be happy or sad because he is scolding me upon seeing me.

"I told you to drive safely, why are you here now? Mile only called like 10 minutes ago," he bombarded with scolding again. He looks tired but still manages to get angry at me.

"How are you?" I asked instead and sat down next to him not minding his words.

I'm still worried because I still don't know his condition.

And I'm not going to be at ease until he will tell me the truth.

"We are leaving now," I didn't even notice his ex's presence and a guy next to him sitting comfortably on the couch.

Both of them got up and came next to us.

"Mile Romsaithong and this is my fiancé, Apo Nattawin," he introduced himself and show his hands for a handshake.
