Greyson~

I don't know how much longer I can take it. There's no good way to handle any of this. How do you begin to comprehend that the person you despise, is your brother? Where do you even begin unpacking that?

As much as I want to agree with Boston; I can't. I know we need to tell Olivia; she deserves to know. At the same time, she left for a reason. What that reason may be, is something I do not know, and I don't need to. Her leaving is enough for me to know that she needed a break, and I'm not going to take that from her.

"Greyson?" Juliette quietly asks as we drive home.

"Hm?" I softly say back. I regret yelling at her.

"Can I tell you something?"

"Of course."

"I've always kind of known," She states, her voice cracking. I don't have to look at her to know she's crying. "Ive had this feeling, for a while. I always knew that we were missing somebody. And now that we know the truth about Boston, that feeling, isn't a feeling anymore; it's a truth; a reality."

"Can I ask you something?" I ask.

"Go ahead."

"Do you think that dad was really an asshole, or do you think he was just broken?"

"I think a little bit of both. I never really met him, but most of the time when people are assholes, it's because they put up walls, because they don't want to get hurt again," She tells me. "I've always known I got that from dad, because mom was never like that."

"You're a smart kid Juliette. I'm proud of you."

She nods her head, and looks out of the window. We don't have to talk anymore. The silence we sit in is comfortable.
