I look at Olivia, praying she's going to be okay.

There's this part of me, telling me that this is only the beginning of something tragic. I know Boston can't take another heartbreak, and truly, I can't either.

"Well, Mr. Leavitt, everything is looking good for Olivia." I hear the nurse say. "She'll be on antibiotics for the next week, and this all should clear up. If it doesn't, come back in, and we'll check her again."
Boston mutters something, before walking back into the room.

"She's got the Flu," Boston confesses. "Worst case they've seen."

"She's going to be okay then?"

"Mhm," He brushes a piece of hair away from her face.

We both just watch her for a while. Her chest falling and rising. The monitors beeping are the only noise filling the room. Boston softly grasps her hand, placing a kiss on the back of it. The smile forming on his face brings me comfort. Olivia is in the best hands.

"Before her dad passed," Boston says, nearly whispering. "He told me I had full permission to marry Olivia one day." He smiles at the thought. I can already tell where this is going.

"I have the ring and everything." He reaches into his pocket, pulling out a small velvet box. A beautiful emerald ring sits in the center. It looks nearly identical to her mothers engagement ring.

"God Boston she's going to love that." I confess, studying the ring.

"I just don't know how to do it. It has to be perfect, but I have no idea how to make that happen."

I chuckle a bit. The Boston Leavitt, doesn't know how to propose to his best friend. The girl he's loved for years. And he's coming to me for help.

And some how, it feels so natural; so normal. Brotherly.
