Chapter 3

Naruto is walking down the street, he just got released from the hospital, and decided to treat himself with some ramen. He made it to Ichiraku's and smelled the heavenly aroma. He walked through the flaps, sat on a stool, and waited. Soon enough he saw his favorite ramen waitress coming towards him. "Hello Naruto. It's been a while since you've been here. Beginning to think we've been forgotten."
"Hey Ayame, it has been a while, but I would never forget this place, its just that things are finally looking up for me. So I've been training really hard for the past week and a half. Sorry if I got you all worked up over me!"
Naruto rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, grinning with his eyes closed. It was at this Teuchi came in. "Hey Naruto, the usual?"
"Yes please!"
With a hearty laugh, Teuchi went to work.
Naruto left after an hour, his belly full. He had downed fifty bowls of ramen, which was a record for him. He slowly made his way to the training ground, and saw that Fugaku was waiting for him. When he got to him, Fugaku held out his hand which had... paper? Seeing Naruto's confusion, Fugaku began to speak. "Do you know what this is Naruto?" Seeing Naruto shake his head no, he continued, "Naruto this is a special piece of paper, it has a special property that when you channel chakra through it," the paper wrinkled and caught flame. "You can find out what elements you have an affinity with, so all I want you to do is take a paper, channel chakra through and"
He didn't even get to finish his sentence because Naruto grabbed a paper and flowed chakra through it. The results shocked even the stoic Fugaku. The paper split into quarters, the first wrinkled, the second dampened, the third turned to dirt, and the fourth caught ablaze. The really shocking result was that the damp one and the earth one combined with each other and started to grow a sapling.
Upon seeing this Fugaku immediately grabbed Naruto, and shunshined to the Hokage's office. The Hokage was extremely bored while doing paperwork, and he longed for a distraction to bring him away from it as long as possible. As luck would have it though, he didn't have to wait long, seeing a dumbfounded Fugaku, and a really confused Naruto with him. Before he could say anything however, Fugaku shouted, "He has all the elements, and Mokuton!"
The Hokage's face told them he didn't believe that for one second so Naruto demonstrated again, this time the Hokage had a look of disbelief. He put his hands in the ram seal, and shouted, "KAI! KAI! KAI!!" Each time he said Kai, he released a chakra burst. Each one bigger than the rest. This caused the ANBU in the room to surround the Hokage.
Hiruzen couldn't believe what he had seen. After such a long time, THE Mokuton finally resurfaced, and lo and behold it appeared in Naruto of all people. He was worrying about all the repercussions of this, when he realized something, something that made home happier beyond belief. He can use this to get out of paperwork. Feeling giddy on the inside, he addressed the two in front of him. "I know I said that I'll help when I can, but seeing the gravity of the situation, I must start overseeing your training Naruto. This is not because I want to, but I have to be there for your security. With you being the son of Minato, Kushina, the Jinchuriki of Kurama, having all five elements, The Rinnegan, The Tenseigan, and now The Mokuton, It is now a matter of village security to keep you safe. If word were to get out about this, everyone would be gunning for you. I especially need you to stay near me from now on, because once Orochimaru finds out about you, he will stop at nothing to get his hands on you. Not to mention the other kage and their villages. That being said, Tiger!"
An ANBU with a tiger mask appeared before the old Hokage's feet. "Hai Hokage, what is it that you require."
The Hokage relayed what has happened in the past half hour. Tiger understood what he was getting at and disappeared with a nod. With that taken care of, Hiruzen, Naruto and Fugaku left for the training ground. When they got there they saw Kakashi standing there waiting for Naruto to show. When he saw them he immediately knew something was up. He stood at attention, and was awaiting further instruction. The Hokage dismissed him with a wave of his hand. "At ease Kakashi. I will summon you hear later, right now though, I need you to get Hiashi. It's imperative that he be here."
Hiruzen watched Kakashi disappear in a swirl of leaves. The Hokage then turned to Naruto who stood up straight.
"Alright Naruto, when Hiashi arrives, I'll have him train you in chakra control exercises. I want you to have perfect control, before you even think about training your elements. It's important for you to learn for a few reasons, one being that your reserves are twice the size of mine, and way denser. They'll get even bigger now that you have two extremely powerful dojutsu. The next reason is so your element training will be far easier. That being said, I'll have both Fugaku and Kakashi train you physically, and when I see fit, you'll begin your combat training from the books."
They waited only a couple minutes for Hiashi to arrive at the training ground. He bowed his head to the Hokage, and began instructing Naruto. They started off with tree climbing. Naruto was wondering how this would help his control until Hiashi walked up the side of the tree, and asked Naruto to do the same. Naruto thinking back to the leaf sticking exercise, channeled chakra to his feet. Miraculously, to everyone's surprise, Naruto made it to Hiashi's level pretty quickly. Hiashi, though surprised, was glad Naruto was picking up very quickly. They then went to a lake where Hiashi then walked on water. Naruto though could feel how the Hyuuga's chakra was constantly adapting to the surface of the water. So with a little hesitation, Naruto put one foot on top of the water and started to fluctuate his chakra. After five minutes of getting a feel of the chakra flow, Naruto set foot on top of the water. Thoroughly shocked, and a little happy, everyone was dumbfounded at how quickly Naruto was progressing. With his reserves being as big as they are, should have been stuck at the tree for at least half the day. So here he was just flying through the lessons like a kunai through air. Hiashi immediately saw that these exercises would be to easy for Naruto, so was going to pick an expert level exercise, so he could at least be challenged enough to take more than half an hour at least. So with that Hiashi asked Naruto to walk on air. Naruto was confused, The Hokage, Fugaku, and Kakashi were curious because it was practically unheard of someone to walk on air as it was deemed impossible, and were wondering if Hiashi was losing his cool.
Naruto was sitting on the ground, wondering what to do. He felt a tug in the back in his mind. He asked what was up, then Kurama asked Naruto to summon him, for he was able to help him here. Naruto nodded and saw hand signs in his mind. He followed suit quickly. When everyone saw what Naruto was doing, it was too late. Naruto bit his thumb, slammed his hand into the ground, and a giant poof of smoke covered the entire training ground.
The smoke cleared with a might roar. ROAR! The very sound froze every living thing within a thousand miles. The Kyuubi has returned. The Kyuubi looked down at Naruto and... smirked? "Sup Kit." Everyone facefell to the ground.
Kurama made himself comfortable and laid down, and began instructing Naruto on how to walk on air. He said it was like water walking, but instead of flowing your chakra with the water it was like the wind. It had to blow fast and slow, crazily and lazily. It was very difficult but still possible. With that Naruto went to work. He would try as hard as he possibly could, but could not do it till sun down. When everyone saw him walking on air they were deeply impressed. Then Naruto passed out from exhaustion after training for so long. As he was falling a red glow of chakra surrounded him as it gently laid him on the ground. Kurama sighed then disappeared in a poof of smoke. Kakashi picked Naruto up, as soon as the chakra disappeared, and went back to his estate.
In the morning, Naruto got ready for physical training for the day. When he was out there he saw the Hokage, Fugaku, and Kakashi's waiting. Each of them with a package in their arms. Curious, Naruto walked towards them, and stood at attention. The men in front of him looked at each other and nodded. "Naruto, while you were asleep, I had taken the liberty of making you the armor and weapons that were in the books, so here they are."

Naruto was thoroughly impressed by the quality and design of the weapons and armor. From how heavy the armor looked, he figured that it was made for heavy assault, and could take a lot of hits. It now dawned on him that the books were doing just that, making him into a warrior of unprecedented power. Couple this with all his new abilities, he could be an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.
With that thought, he donned the armor, and grabbed his new weapons. With that they began the physical training. He thought that with the armor he would only be extra sore, but no. The training was nothing like it was before. Yes the armor weighed him down, but they put extra weight on him, so he can be as fast as possible. Not only that, they made him lift weights, and began unarmed, and armed combat. At the end of the day he was exhausted. He felt like his body was one giant lead weight. He ate dinner, then went to get ready for tomorrow.
Naruto woke up for breakfast. He saw Kakashi deep in thought at the table, so he helped himself to a light breakfast. It was then that Kakashi's thoughts were voiced. "Naruto would you be ok starting the academy today? I know you have a lot on your plate. It's that you have to go through it to become a shinobi. So what do you think?"
Naruto was now the one deep in thought. He knew that what Kakashi said was true. But did he want this? He thought some more, then decided that it would be beneficial if he did. So with a nod of his head he voiced his agreement. "I think that will be for the better. For now though, lets get to training."
After breakfast, they both went outside, and started exercise. A couple hours later, they were joined by Fugaku, Hiashi, and The Hokage. Fugaku trained him in combat, Hiashi helped him with his elemental training, and The Hokage would spar with him to evaluate on how proficient Naruto was, and where he needs work. Right now, Naruto's abilities are: strength=chunin, speed=low Jonin, chakra=Almost a tails worth of chakra, control=high Jonin, taijutsu=high chunin borderline low Jonin, ninjutsu=knows henge, substitution, and shadow clones, genjutsu=high genin. With no experience though, Naruto is only above average in abilities, for now. This will go on for the next four years as Naruto attends the academy. After  everyone but Kakashi leaves, Naruto goes to train with books on how to fight with his weapons. For the rest of the day, Naruto trains himself to the ground, until evening comes around.
Kakashi takes him back to the house, where they eat dinner, then go to bed. In the morning, Naruto and Kakashi do a basic workout for the day, and set off to the academy after a light breakfast. When they got there though, they were both late bay two and a half hours, reading books. They went into the building and into the assigned room. When they knocked they head in after they were told to. Opening the door, Naruto saw this. A bunch a students not paying any attention to the teacher, a few kids he noted were from the various clans of Konoha. His attention lazily made his way to the teacher, a chunin named Iruka,
"We'll look who finally decided to come to school, can you tell me why you were so late?"
Flashback
As Naruto came out of the house dressed, he ran into Kakashi, who gave him a mask like his. Naruto nodded and donned his new mask. He now looks like a mini blonde Kakashi.
Flashback End
When Iruka looked at them expecting an answer, they both glanced up from there books, and Kakashi's reply was, "Did you say something Iruka?" Earning him a sweatdrop. Naruto followed up with, "We got lost on the path of life" at that point everyone sweatdropped at how lame the excuses were. Iruka then showed Naruto to his seat, and continued his lesson. Kakashi left, and this started Naruto's next step into the world of shinobi.
