Chapter 11

Naruto, Fugaku, Hiashi, and a squad of ANBU stood before the gates of Uzushio. Surprisingly intact, Naruto crept towards them. On the outside, he appeared calm and ready, but on the inside, he was extremely nervous. He didn't know what Uzu looked like, yet he did know that Iwa, Kumo, and Mizu attacked the ancient village.
They had succeeded as well, but at a heavy cost. Uzushio, while small, was very formidable. It showed when they took 90% of the invading forces with them. All in an attempt to weaken them enough for Konoha to sweep in and finish the job. Naruto felt an uneasy feeling swell in his gut.
He heard a drop of water hit his armor from up above. He looked up, and saw dark clouds forming, a storm brewing overhead. He took a deep breath, and marched up to the gates. "Here we go. Welcome to Uzushio everyone..."
As soon as he touched the gates, everyone heard a loud click, and a deep hiss. The doors creaked and groaned as they swung inwards. Naruto fell to his knees, tears falling down his face as he finally witnessed what happened to his mother's homeland.
It was desolate, and quiet. The only noise that could be heard was the wind slowly picking up in speed. They looked around, and were surprised at how most of the buildings looked fine. The buildings were still intact, not a scratch on them. Then they look at the ground. Skeletons piling up along the streets. Upon closer inspection, they were Uzushio shinobi. Though some were from the invading forces long ago. Naruto's heart ached as he swept his gaze throughout the village.
As the wind swept through the streets, he could almost here children laughing and playing as he looked down the streets. He felt a hard lump in his throat as he bit back a sob. He shook in sorrow, and suddenly felt cold. Lightning flashed overhead as he wept silently for his deceased clan.
He felt a hand on each of his shoulders as Hiashi, and Fugaku supported him. While they had lost friends and family to war, it was nothing compared to losing their whole clan. The worst part of it all was that the Uzumaki were peaceful, and didn't participate in the war. They were attacked out of fear that they could be dangerous. The potential to be a threat. They could only imagine what was going through the blonde's head.
Naruto shook his head, trying to clear it so he can get down to business. It took awhile for him to settle down, but he somehow managed to pull through. He turned towards Hiashi to talk to him, when he noticed something on the horizon.
"Hey! What's that?" Asked Naruto.
Hiashi activated his Byakugan, and searched for what Naruto was talking about. It didn't take him long either. He saw something that he knew was going to end in bloodshed. "We have ten Iwa ships coming towards us. They must have found out about our expedition. Maybe a spy in one of the villages near the cost, had saw us sail towards Uzushio." He calmly stated.
"Well we could leave, but since Naruto opened the gate, they'll probably end up ransacking the place, which would be a very problematic situation in the future." Said Fugaku, his Sharingan activated.
They felt intense killing intent from behind them, and turned around to look. It was Naruto, and he was furious. He spoke with an angry undertone. "I will stay and fight, as is my duty as clan head for the Uzumaki. You can either choose to stay with me, or leave while you can. You'd better choose quickly, because we have some uninvited guests to take care of..."
The ANBU, Hiashi, and Fugaku looked at each other and nodded. Hiashi spoke. "We will be right behind you, and we'll stop them from getting past the gate. As a Jinchuriki, you'd probably be best for taking them on in a counterattack."
Naruto nodded, seeing sense with his analysis.
"Then get ready, they're almost here." Said Naruto.
They all stood by the gates, and closed them. They all stood infront of them, with Naruto ten feet infront of the group. They watched as the ten ships made land, and three hundred shinobi crawled out of each of the ships. They all made it to the front gates, and stopped fifty yards away from Naruto.
When they saw a kid guarding the entrance of Uzushio, they all looked at each other, then started laughing at him. One of the shinobi walked forward, clearly in charge, and spoke out to Naruto. "What are you doing here kid! Scram, you don't have to lose your life for a dusty old village like this!"
"Oh! I'm pretty sure I do... for you see I'm not just a kid. I'm the clan head for the Uzumaki, and I came here for business that is my own. I spy 3000 trespassing shinobi, and they need to be punished!" Replied Naruto, his voice becoming more demonic in the end.
His response unsettled the shinobi before him, but they soon shook it off, and rushed to annihilate him. A big mistake. Naruto put on his helmet, donned his spear, and a shield, then spoke to Kurama. 'Give me chakra, Kurama. We need to send a message to the enemies of the Uzumaki clan.'
"Then take it. These nin are wicked, and dangerous. They chose, alongside Kumo and Mizu, to destroy your homeland. You will unleash hell upon them, and you will be more dangerous... more wicked, for we will do unto them... absolute misery. Naruto, you will destroy those who stand in your way."
When he finished, a brilliant flash of red and yellow appeared around Naruto. It was so sudden, it actually halted the Iwa ninja in their assault. When it disappeared, they saw Naruto, but his armor was glowing, he had a plumed helmet, a cape, and on top of that, he had nine large tails flowing behind him.
They saw glowing red eyes from beneath his helmet, and they felt something terrible. His killing intent was actively trying to crush them, to kill them painfully. For some of the weaker shinobi, they were brought down, hunched over on their hands and knees. Vomiting blood as they experienced pain of unprecedented capacity.
The remaining Iwa shinobi, shook it off, and prepared for what they thought would be a tough battle, not realizing that they would be facing their demise. They knew that they'd be facing an opponent, but they didn't know that it would be up against a pissed off Jinchuriki. The Nine Tails no less. The captain of the battalion just muttered to himself. "Of course it's a Jinchuriki. If I live, I'm definitely giving Onōki an earful..."
Naruto charged his spear up with lightning chakra, and slowly walked towards the enemy. He spoke out to all of them, his voice deep, and guttural. "So, do you wish to continue this foolish task of yours? I ask this question, so you can have an opportunity to leave..."
They all looked nervous, and some even looked outright scared. The captain in charge just rallied his men, getting them to snap out of it. They once more charged the blonde, trying to call his bluff. Naruto smirked, and he finally moved. In a blink of an eye, he single-handedly took out twenty ninja with a swipe of his spear. He slammed his shield into a couple of Iwa nin, and sliced their heads in half. He charged more chakra into his spear. Lightning was now crackling with white electricity. He did something that he hadn't done since Wave.
The storm above them soon turned into a category five hurricane. They lightning tripled in quantity, and blinded those who dared to look. The earth shook, and started to crack around the raging Jinchuriki, and those few who payed attention saw the water had receded.
Ignoring it for now, they just prepared for an assault from hell. Another big mistake. Just as they made to advance onto the blonde, the wind just knocked them over. The earthquake didn't help either. They all tried to retreat towards the beach, but saw that the water was gone. They didn't know what was going on. This never happened to them back in Earth Country.
Suddenly, off in the distance, they saw a wave coming towards them. It seemed small at first, but it was gradually getting larger. They knew something bad was about to happen, as alarms around the village started to sound. Naruto, who had read about them from his mom's journal, knew they were for tsunamis.
He grabbed onto the ANBU, and Hiashi and Fugaku, and he flashed them to a kunai he may or may not have placed inside Uzushio.
The distracted Iwa shinobi didn't even see him flash away, or else it would have sent them in an absolute panic. They made an earth wall in hopes of protecting themselves from certain death. Well some of them did. The rest weren't quick enough as the mammoth wave crushed them, and smashed them against the wall. The immediate riptide afterwards swept away anyone foolish enough to drop their earth wall, out to sea.
That's when Naruto reappeared back infront of the gates. He took his lightning charged spear, amd stabbed it into the flooded ground. The lightning overhead, listening to his command, also raced down towards the water. The remaining Iwa ninja dropped their jutsu just at the same time, which unfortunately cost them their lives as they were fried. The only one left was the captain.
Naruto stalked towards the Iwa captain. He was on his knees, in pure disbelief at what he had witnessed. While they weren't Iwa's best, the ninja he lead would have been enough to overwhelm any small group. Clearly they bit off more than they could chew. So he did the only thing he could do. He ran.
He ran as fast as his legs could carry him. He took one of the ships, and left for Iwa. So he could report to his Kage. Naruto watched with a triumphant smile on his face. He had won. He turned around, and once again opened the gates. He walked into Uzushio, and saw Hiashi, Fugaku, and the squad of ANBU. They all were staring at him in awe, and slight fear. They had seen the Kyuubi in action, but he had been under a genjutsu. This time, they finally realized that the stories about him being a walking natural disaster was true. Naruto was the only living proof.
He took a deep breath, and started to explore his village. Yes his village. He was thinking about it for the past three minutes, and came to the conclusion of returning his clan to its former glory. He can't do that without Uzushio, which was the crowning achievement for the Uzumaki. He made a mental note to talk to Hiruzen about it.
He was heading towards a particular building. He was heading to the kage tower for this village, as underneath it was the vault that held all of Uzu's treasures. He didn't plan on taking anything but the fuinjutsu he was after. He walked down the stairs, and into the vault corridor. He rounded a corner, and saw a massive vault door made entire out of chakra metal.
Behind him, Fugaku whistled in amazement. Such a door would be impossible to breach, as he was sure the Uzumaki of old would have reinforced it with their strongest fuinjutsu. Naruto didn't care, as he walked up to the door, and channeled his chakra into it. He heard a small hiss, as a pin pad appeared before him. Remembering the code his mother was entrusted with, which he immediately destroyed after learning it, he punched in the code to the vault. After entering the correct code, the door clicked open, and silently swung inwards. He went inside, with everyone following. As the last person went in, the massive vault door swung closed. Locking them inside.
Fortunately for them, when Naruto opened the vault, he coincidentally turned on any lights that could have been in their. The Uzumaki didn't have electricity in the vault, because it was so old, and only the Royal Family could actually open it, and they didn't trust outsiders with the privilege of even seeing the vault door. So the vault interior was lit with smokeless torches powered with fuinjutsu. As that was all that was needed, as only a select few ever went into the vault.
They walked down a short hallway, and it opened up to a very large room. In it was rows upon rows of shelves. Each was full to the brim with scrolls, books, treasures, weapons, you name it they got it. Naruto, realizing that he needed more manpower, turned to the group.
"Alright, I'm going to split you all up into individual groups. You'll each have about fifty shadow clones help you search for our intended jutsu. You'll see it when you find the scroll with the appropriate label on it."
Everyone nodded, then Naruto did the hand sign for the Shadow Clone Jutsu. A giant cloud of smoke erupted around them, and when it cleared, their were 350 shadow clones before them. They split up into groups of 7, then they all branches off into different directions. They had a lot of ground to cover.
While they were searching, The Tsuchikage was calmly doing paperwork in his office. He was blissfully unaware of what had transpired at Uzushio. He didn't even know his ninja had left. So imagine his surprise when he heard a knock on his door. He called out to the door. "Come in, and make it quick!"
He immediately changed his tune when he saw one of his high ranking shinobi walking in with a harrowed look on his face. Onōki got out of his chair, and hobbled over to him. "What happened?!" He asked.
"A mistake I should've avoided... you know how we've got a couple of spies along the cost of Fire Country?"
"Yes, but why do you look like you fought yourself and lost!?"
"Well, turns out they saw a boat heading to Uzushio..."
Onōki's blood turned cold at the mere mention of the name. He remembered the slaughter of the Uzumaki Clan. He was there after all. He shook his head, grasped the shinobi's shoulder, and asked him a question. "Who was it?"
"I don't know, but there was a Hyuuga, an Uchiha, Konoha ANBU, and a blonde haired boy claiming to be the Uzumaki Clan Head. If his claims are true than we bit off more than we can chew."
Onōki's grip hardened when he heard the boy was blonde. Making the captain wince. "Did he perhaps have blue eyes?" Harshly asked The Tsuchikage.
"Now that I recall, yes he did... wait a sec! Are you saying he could be?"
"The son of that bastard? Yes. Yes I am... what else happened?"
"Well it turns out he is also the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tailed Fox."
"Hmm then he's definitely an Uzumaki. Only they could house the Kyuubi and live. Making his claim true... what to do..."
Back with Naruto, he sneezed really hard, which made him smack his head against a shelf. Whining from the pain, he could hear Hiashi chuckle from across the room, making him grumble a bit. Fugaku just smirked to himself, finding the blonde to be amusing.
Humor quickly turned to fear, as they heard the blonde mutter something about a pranking spree. Remembering his reputation as the Prankster King from Hell, they decided to stop while they were ahead. After ten more minutes of silence, Naruto felt one of his clones dispel. Getting some important memories, he summoned a clone to signal the rest to verge at the entrance.
Seeing everyone back at the entrance, he spoke. "We got it. Now let's get out of here. It's a bit depressing here."
He motioned them to grab ahold of him. Doing so, Naruto focused on the Hiraishin Seal in Konoha. In a blinding yellow light, everyone found themselves back in the Hidden Leaf. What they didn't know is they appeared in the Hokage's office. There was also the fact that The Fire Daimyo was also inside the office.
The samurai guarding the Daimyo sprung into action, not realizing they were up against Konoha ninja. Naruto, however was faster. As soon as he felt the air shift in the room, he took his shield and smashed one of the samurai in the face. He felt him crumple against it, and while that happened, he pressed the tip of his spear against the throat of the other samurai.
He leaked out heavy intent, which made all the samurai collectively piss themselves in fear. Naruto stayed that way, until Hiruzen finally realized what happened. He stood up, and ordered Naruto to stand down. "Naruto! Please stand down, for you are in the presence of The Fire Daimyo."
Naruto immediately snapped to attention, shield and spear in hand. He put them away, and pulled out a couple scrolls. "Here, the reason for this meeting in the first place. Also, after this there is something else I wanted to talk to you about. It involves Uzushio." Said Naruto.
"Well we just got here, so let's begin shall we?" Asked Hiruzen.
"Hmm, of course. I am the Fire Daimyo. I've heard many great things, especially your rise to head of the Uzumaki. Very impressive indeed. It has come to my attention that you were tasked with finding a couple of seals to help safeguard this village, and the country surrounding it?" Inquired the Fire Daimyo.
"Hai, that is the case, and our search has been fruitful. In these scrolls are a couple of barrier seals that could work for the village. As for the sensor seal to detect unauthorized personnel, I have taken it upon myself to design it. Uzushio had sensory seals, but were mostly for harsh weather." Replied Naruto.
"My my, that is impressive! Then it should come as no surprise that you should immediately install both of them. If that is all, I shall enjoy this village a bit before my departure. Good day!"
With that, The Daimyo and his protection detail left. Hiruzen let out a tired, and relieved sigh. He looked at the group before him, and dismissed all of them except Naruto. They all left with a bow, leaving the two in the room. Hiruzen stood up, and walked towards the big window overlooking the village. He sighed once again, a heavy feeling in his gut. Telling him that this conversation was not as it seemed.
"We're alone now. You wanted to speak. Speak!" Said The Third Hokage.
"Hai! You know as my duty as clan head, I've tasked myself with bringing back the Uzumaki Clan to It's former glory. Well since my visit to my mother's homeland, I realized that Uzushio was apart of that glory. Considering it was the crowning achievement from my clan." Said Naruto.
"I think I have an idea of where this is heading, but please continue."
"Ok... the thing is... I... kind of want to... rebuild Uzushiogakure."
Hiruzen pulled out his tobacco pipe, lit it, and took a long drag from it. He released a cloud of smoke, as this news floored him. Naruto wanted to rebuild Uzushio. What would Konoha think about this? The Daimyo? Hell even the other nations! For the first time in a long time, he didn't have a clear answer. He looked to Naruto and asked, "Why?"
Naruto took a deep breath, and retold his journey to Uzushio. Hiruzen hung onto every detail, making sure not to miss a thing. He was surprised by Naruto's boat, but was alarmed that Iwa was somehow involved. He made a mental note to contact Jiraya to sort out any spies that have infiltrated Fire Country.
As for the Iwa captain, he knew that Onōki would find out any time now. He just hopes that this would never turn into something bloody. He walked back to his desk, and sat down. He sighed. "This changed a great many things. I had plans for you to take my seat as the Godaime Hokage. Since you're going to be ruling Konoha's sister village, I'm going to have to search for another to take my place. Perhaps my remaining students, or even Kakashi could... I don't know. This is quite a difficult dilemma."
"Hai! That it is. That it is... but I suppose that's why it is a good idea. Nothing good comes easy, after all."
"Too true."
Hiruzen didn't know what else to talk about for the moment. Suddenly, he realized something.
"What about the compound you built here? Are you just going to let it go to waste?"
"No. Too much work, money, and effort to let it go now. I'll still use it. Maybe when things go get up and running, I'll let Konoha have it, maybe set up a knew corps for fuinjutsu specialists. That way you'll have some people to maintain the seals, and any others that may be in use for the future. Or perhaps I will keep it for myself, and use it for when I visit."
Hiruzen nodded, those ideas had some merit. He then realized something, again. "Well I guess we'll need to plan for this. Uzushio was a powerful ally, and having them back would help us against Mist, if they used a water front for an assault. We would need something for emergency transportation. I case we need each other for something dire."
"Oooo! I get what you're talking about. The Uzumaki might have something in Space-time that could help us. A bridge to allow instantaneous travel... the possibilities. Well, if this is all, that would mean my place as a shinobi is in question now. I can't run my own village if you're still lording over me!"
Hiruzen let out an amused snort, and with a sad smile, he realized that Naruto was right. He shook it off, and walked over to Naruto. He place a hand on his shoulder, and faced him. "Naruto you sound like this is a goodbye. Maybe trying thinking that this is just a new beginning. Just remember, you'll always be Konoha's Spartan."
Naruto smiled, happy his grandfather figure supported him. He pulled Hiruzen into a hug, and said, "Thank you. For being there, and for helping me grow into the person I am now."
"You are most welcome, Naruto-kun."
With that they went about there day. Naruto walked out of the tower, and down into the town square. He made a few shadow clones, and sent them to people he knew. He had an announcement to make. He went to his home, and waited for people to show up. He was low key excited about starting his own village, or restarting one that is.
He felt the wind shift, and he looked over his shoulder to see Danzo standing there. Confused on why he was there, he called out. "Hello Danzo-sama, what can I help you with?"
"Enough with the formality, I came here because a little bird told me you have big plans for the future."
Naruto could only nod dumbly as he was to stunned at how Danzo knew so quickly. Danzo smirked, realizing what Naruto was thinking. "ROOT." He simply said.
Naruto shook his head in exasperation, as he should've known that this was the case. He was about to speak, when he heard a knock on his door. "Enter!" He said. He saw Kakashi, Hiashi, Fugaku, Hinata, Ino, Inoichi, Haku, Zabuza, Sakura, Sasuke, Shino, Shikamaru, Shikaku, Sasuke, Kiba, Choji, Asuma, Kurenai, Teuchi, amd Ayame. He welcomed them in, and he gathered them around.
"You all must be wondering, 'Why did Naruto call us here?', well that's because I have some important news. Recently, I have visited Uzushio. My homeland. Everyone here knows of my goal to rebuild the Uzumaki Clan, and bring it back to its former glory. Well, with Uzushio being apart of that glory, I have taken it upon myself. To rebuild it, and eventually rule it. As my rightful place as Crown Prince."
Everyone looked shocked. They were barely processing what Naruto had just told them. They couldn't believe it. He wanted to rule Uzushio? They all wondered what caused him to think this. Kakashi walked over to Naruto, and placed a hand on the blonde's shoulder.
"Ne, Naruto? Are you sure you want to go through with this? I'm not trying to dissuade you of your goals, but have you truly thought this through? Do you even have an idea on where to start?" Questioned Kakashi.
"Absolutely, I get your looking out for me, and I have indeed thought this through. I suppose I can procure some funds with the chunin exams. I would need someone to represent Uzushio though, and that could be an issue."
Zabuza stepped forward, finally letting the information sink in. "Well isn't this quite the shock. I suppose you could enter Haku. She would be more than willing to prove herself as apart of Uzushio. Between you and I, we could train her to be relatively unrivaled in skill. If you have an Uzushio headband you could let her wear, then everyone would have to acknowledge Uzushio's existence."
"Indeed... the Daimyos from every country would be crawling over each other to practically beg you for an alliance. You would also gain the attention of every single shinobi this land has to offer. Orochimaru, for example, would be whispering in your ear, and in everyone else's. All just so he could steal from you." Hiashi spoke calmly, and logically.
Everyone nodded at that. It was true after all. "Well, it is to be expected... I suppose on top of having Haku represent Uzushio, I could spend some time trying to find any Uzumaki that may be in hiding. Perhaps Danzo-sama can help me with that. After all, his root are some of the best at tracking."
Danzo merely nodded at this, simply because it was a simple fact. Everyone grew quiet, not quite sure on what else to talk about. Naruto clapped his hands together and grabbed everyone's attention.
"Since we clearly have finished talking about Uzu, how about later today, you can bring friends and family over here to have dinner. We could talk more then. Right now, I have stuff to do, and many places to be."
Everyone left, saying they would be there. Naruto watched as everyone except Zabuza and Haku leave. They stayed behind, as they had nowhere else to go. That, and Zabuza swore he would be by his side, as a vassal to The Uzumaki Clan. Naruto, letting out a tired breath, walked over to the stairs, and walked up.
With Zabuza and Haku flanking him, they all went into his office. Sitting down in his comfy leather chair, he clasped his hands infront of his face, as he rested his arms on top of his desk. He had a lot on his mind, and he didn't know where to start. He turned to Zabuza, and asked him a question. "In the grand scheme of things, what would take more priority? Training Haku for the exams, or prepping for Uzu's reconstruction?"
Zabuza grabbed his chin in a thinking posture, and thought about it. "Hmm... depends. Haku could easily wipe out a lot of the competition, but there is also the fact that some powerful Genin could be competing. Uzushio is going to take a long time regardless, so if you prepped now, you'd maybe save yourself a few months to a couple of years. Depends if you had some help. Konoha would definitely, as you guys used to be married at the hip."
Naruto nodded, and turned to Haku. "What about you? If you're to enter these exams to represent us, you need a few edges, and a few aces up your sleeve. We can start with your reserves, but beyond that, I haven't the foggiest."
Haku closed her eyes as she thought deep. She would probably have to expand her jutsu repertoire, and maybe pick up some weapon training. She remembered how deadly Naruto was with a spear, so she probably could do something similar. She opened her eyes, and spoke to Naruto.
"I could learn more jutsu, as well pick up on how to use a spear. Maybe you can throw in a couple of things so you can throw in that I can learn."
"Hai, that is good. I could probably show you a scroll on how to use a bow. Maybe you could also incorporate your Ice Style with some archery."
Zabuza whistled to himself as he heard that. It could definitely increase the range and speed of some of Haku's jutsu. Naruto closed his eyes this time, and talked.
"Good, now... about Uzushio. We need to think about a lot of things. Most of Uzu is actually intact, just a lot of corpses to clean up. We need a way to update the seals, as the invaders somehow got past the barrier. Also we need to construct a portal for emergency use. As for the rest, we need to reconstruct some of the important buildings. We'd have to go back and look, then take inventory of what needs repairs. We also need to disarm, repurpose, and maybe even get rid of the traps."
"Hmm... that could work, though we need some materials, but I suppose you have some idea of how to get them?" Asked Zabuza.
"Mhm. Sure do! Look no further than the Daimyos. Especially the ones for the smaller countries. The idea of Uzushio using our fuinjutsu to help safe guard villages would definitely swing anyone to our side. Especially those already allied with Konoha."
They all fell silently, slowly taking in the information. Suddenly a knock was heard downstairs. Zabuza was the first to react. He flew out of the office, his large blade in hand. He jumped down the whole flight of stairs, and slid in front of the door. He threw it open, and in his nastiest, loudest, and most terrifying voice he could muster, he shouted, "WHAT DO YOU WANT! WE'RE BUSY IN HERE!"
Naruto quickly came from behind Zabuza, and looked to see who he was yelling at. He busted out laughing when he did. Turns out, it was the dinner party he had invited. Hiashi, Fugaku, their families, and all the rookie teams plus Hiruzen were collectively pissing themselves in fear. Zabuza realized who it was, and he coughed into his hand as he put his sword away. He quietly spoke out to everyone. "Sorry about that..."
Everyone sweatdropped at the immediate mood change. They shook their heads, and walked inside. Naruto walked them to the dining hall, and took a seat at the head of a massive table. His chair looked like a throne made of gold, which made sense as he was actually royalty. Being Crown Prince had its perks, and not to mention he was the only son of The Fourth Hokage.
Seating themselves at the table, Naruto summoned some clones out of thin air. Without hand seals. Everyone watched as they all walked out of the dining hall, and into the kitchen. He smirked, realizing what they were staring at. He was about to talk, when his vision went dark. When his sight returned, he found himself in front of Kurama.
"Yo! What's up Kurama? Why am I here?"Asked Naruto.
"Kit... you were brought here because I was asked to." Replied Kurama.
Before anything else was said, Naruto felt a hand rest on his shoulder. He looked behind him, and saw an old man. He had a big red eyeball in the middle of his forehead. His gray hair was shaped like horns, and he had the Rinnegan. Realizing who was behind him, Naruto immediately turned around, and bowed deeply.
"Ohayō! I'm Uzumaki Naruto. It is an honor to meet The Rikudou Sennin." Said Naruto.
"It's alright, there's no need to bow. Not to me. After all, you are my successor. Well technically." Said The Sage.
"Nani? How so?"
"Well for starters, you are the latest reincarnation of my younger son. His name was Ashura. His brother's name, Indra. You'd better know him now as Sasuke Uchiha."
"Are you saying Sasuke and I are brothers?"
"Hai, I guess I am. I'm here to help train you. Especially since you seem to have a Rinnegan, and is that a Tenseigan as well? An odd curiosity for sure. I'll have to call in a favor with someone who also has the Tenseigan. It's been a long time since I've even seen him, let alone talked with him..."
Naruto was now getting excited, as now he was getting even more power than before. He would be the one who made the Uzumaki better than before, and his eyes would be the key. All he needed now was to get Sasuke on board now. He looked at The Sage, and asked, "What about Sasuke? Will he be getting abilities and training?"
"Sure, it would be beneficial if he could keep pace with you, and he seems to like you a lot. I have an idea..."
Naruto was now back in the real world. Dinner was being served right now, and everyone was chatting up a storm. He called out to a few guests. "Fugaku, Sasuke, Hokage-sama! I want to talk privately in my office after dinner. I have something very important to tell you."
Curiosity peaked, they all nodded respectively. They wondered what it was that Naruto wanted. They looked at each other, shrugged, then dug in. All was going well, except, Naruto felt something odd in the room. He couldn't quite place it. He could feel something foul was about to happen, so he remained on high alert. He didn't have to wait long.
Itachi, who sat next to his mother, suddenly had a terrible coughing fit. He was hacking and wheezing into his hand, and when he stopped, he saw blood. His mother panicked, and shouted. "Itachi! Are you okay?!"
"I-I'm not s-sure..." he said shakily.
Before anyone could move, Naruto was next to him in an instant. Using his Byakugan eye, he scanned Itachi for anything that could have ailed him. He didn't see any injuries so he performed a diagnosis jutsu on him. What he found shocked him.
"Your very sick. Your leukocytes are attacking your blood cells, especially around your vitals. It's causing a reaction in your body, which explains the coughing and the haemoptosis. I don't know how this happened, but I can indeed fix this. I need to know a couple things first, what else have you noticed that didn't seem right?" Said Naruto.
"I noticed I run out of breath, and I can't use a lot of chakra without passing out. I also can't overwork myself, or this happens. I was sparring with Shisui today."
"Hold still, if you make any sudden movements, it could make you worse. Possibly could kill you."
Itachi took a deep breath, calming his nerves, and let Naruto heal him. Naruto took a palm, and faced it up towards the ceiling. He started gathering red chakra into his hands, and let it spread throughout his hand. Everyone in the room could feel the oppressive chakra weigh down one their bodies, making it difficult to breath. However, it didn't last, as Naruto started to purify it.
Starting out as a small speck of gold, it slowly infected the red chakra, until there was none left. Now Naruto's hand was coated in a blinding gold chakra. It felt warm, happy, safe, and healthy.
Naruto placed his hand on Itachi's chest, and let the chakra flow inside him. He used his chakra control to go to Itachi's heart and lungs. He then used his heart to spread the gold chakra around his body, and into his lungs. Everywhere the chakra touched, it healed everything to the point to being better then before. After 45 seconds, Itachi felt immediately better. Naruto, kept his hand on his chest, making sure there was nothing else.
As another four minutes went by, Naruto removed his hands. He looked at Itachi, and gave him some instructions. "You'll need some rest, as your body needs to adjust to being so healthy again. Especially your chakra. Tomorrow try using a large jutsu, and maybe practice control. Have someone keep an eye on you, there could be a side effect or two, what they are, I couldn't say. If there is any, see me as soon as possible."
Itachi just nodded. Naruto sighed, then immediately whirled around towards everyone else. With a stern look on his face. "Does anyone have any underlying issues that need taken care of? Speak now or forever hold your peace. If it is embarrassing or a private matter, than let me know, and I'll make some time tomorrow for anyone. The hospital would be better, but I suppose this is just as good, unless Hokage-sama can remedy that?"
This caused a stir amongst everyone. They all murmured, whispered, and mumbled with each other. The first up was Kakashi. Which surprised everyone, as they couldn't believe anything was actually wrong with him. He reached Naruto and spoke.
"Ne, Naruto? Remedy this then. You know of my Sharingan eye, and how it was given to me as a parting gift from a long lost friend. Well... can you... I don't know... maybe make it so I can use it with out it being activated all the time? It sucks that I'm technically half blind until I lift my head band." Spoke Kakashi.
Naruto nodded. "Kneel, and hold very still. While I used a healing technique with Itachi, I'm going to have to use fuinjutsu to help you. You so much as flinch, breath, blink or generally move in the wrong way, and the consequences could be dire for not only you and I but possibly everyone in this room.
Perhaps everyone can watch in my sealing chamber, where we can possibly discuss everyone else's issues. Now... let's go."
Everyone followed Naruto down into his basement. He walked down into it, then placed his hand on a random spot on the far side of his wall. An almost inaudible click was heard, and a hidden door slid open. Naruto flipped on a switch, and some lights turned on. He lead everyone down a long flight of stairs that went deeper into the earth. After walking a couple miles down, they walked up to a large, reinforced wooden double door. They all saw carvings in the wood and metal. It looked like art, but knowing Naruto, it somehow had fuinjutsu all over.
Naruto placed his hand on the seam of the doors, and channeled chakra. It caused the carvings on the dooor to faintly glow blue, and they slowly, and silently swung inwards. Naruto walked in, with everyone still following in silence. They all had their jaws dropped. Inside was the most beautiful thing they had ever seen. Inside was black marble. Marble walls, floors, and even pillars. It was completely round, and there were braziers burning with ghostly flames. Casting a soft white light through the room.
Inlaid in the walls, and in the center of the room, was silver and gold inscriptions, and they couldn't make heads or tails of it. The center of the room was what caught everyone's attention. After about five meters, the center went down with some steps. It was like this in a big circle. Naruto lead Kakashi down into the center, and immediately started ordering him around.
"Alright take off the shirt, headband, and mask. I'll need access to every bit of skin that you can spare. If you feel the need, you can face away from everyone. That being said," Naruto turned around swiftly. "If I catch you trying to sneak a peak at his face whilst he is exposed like this, you'll understand why you shouldn't anger an Uzumaki."
Anyone that knew what he was talking about immediately nodded their heads in absolute fear. They all remembered how Kushina was, and with how smart, cunning, and powerful Naruto was, he could do an unimaginable amount of things to them. The Genin, the poor, poor Genin, did not, and saw it as a challenge. All the adults saw this, and silently prayed for them to survive an angry Uzumaki. Kiba especially didn't get the memo because he had smirk on his face.
Sasuke recognized the tone the blonde used, and wisely chose to not go near his own sensei. Hinata, Hiashi, Hinabi, and Neji turned around, and promised not to use their Byakugan. Getting back on track, Naruto faced Kakashi, and saw that he was shirtless already, and all that was left was his mask.
"Turn around, take it off, and sit. This will take a minute."
Kakashi nodded, and did as he was told. He took his mask off as he turned around, then sat down one the cold, hard floor. Naruto walked into his vision, and he saw him smile a bit. "Alright here we go, and by the way, you look good."
"Thanks, so how are you going to do this?" Asked Kakashi.
"Well there are several methods, some of them were meant to make sure dojutsu didn't activate again. I won't do anything that drastic, but I will use one of the more complex seals for the job. That's why you absolutely need to hold still. If you feel the need to move, then let me know. Here we go, hold still."
Kakashi froze immediately. He held still, his breathing looked nonexistent. Naruto took his right pointer finger, and channeled chakra into the tip. He started drawing the seal all over Kakashi's head, and all over his neck and shoulders. Thankfully, Naruto was a seal master, therefore he was very fast. It still took three minutes to get done. Naruto then did the ram hand seal, and sealed Kakashi's Sharingan. He felt searing pain, and let out a quiet grunt. As Naruto watched him, he felt a presence off to his right. He threw his shirt off, and onto Kakashi's face. He soon vanished into thin air, and reappeared behind Kiba. He grabbed the Inuzuka by the back of his neck, and swung him around his body, and into the door. Kiba hit the door with a loud thud, and everyone froze. Not daring to even breath. Kiba, looked up, angry, and in pain. He almost pissed himself in fear when he did.
He looked up, and saw Naruto, but his hair covered his eyes. He saw him smile cruelly, and heard him chuckle quietly to himself.
"This is what happens when you fuck around and find out..." said Naruto.
"Please! Mercy!" Pleaded Kiba.
Naruto didn't respond. Instead, he pulled out something that made all the adults curl up in a ball and cry in fear. He pulled out... a frying pan. Kiba slowly got up to make a run for it. He was about to make a mad dash, but found himself immobile. He looked down, and saw gold chains wrapped around his arms, and his legs. He wrenched his limbs against his restraints, but they wouldn't even budge.
He felt a small gust of wind, looked up, and saw two cold eyes peering into his own. He flinched, which signaled Naruto to start unleashing hell.
He felt his head throb in pain as Naruto connected with his cast iron pan. It wasn't after five minutes of a brutal beat down later, that Naruto had finished. Kakashi, who had gotten dressed five minutes ago, made mental note to buy the Uzumaki some lunch. A small thanks for protecting his privacy. He didn't think he would handle it if someone else other than Naruto had seen his face. He didn't worry about the blonde spilling his secret, as he knew he was unsurpassed in keeping confidences.
Naruto then addressed everyone else in the room. "Now that we're all done here, you can all go home now. Except for Fugaku-san, Sasuke-san, and Hokage-sama."
Naruto walked back to the door, and opened it. He lead the way back into his front room, and opened the door for everyone else to leave. After everyone left, he lead the Uchiha, plus Hiruzen up into his office. He turned to Zabuza, and said, "Stay here, and guard. This is private. If I need you, your tattoo will glow."
Zabuza nodded, pulled out his sword, and stood next to the door. Naruto went inside his office, and summoned four chairs. He placed them in front of his desk, and sat down in his own. They all sat in there respective chair, though were curious who the fourth one was for. He took a knife, and slice his wrist open. He did a few hand seals, and created a blood clone. He went into his mind, and said. "Rikudou-sama, your clone is ready!"
He went back to the real world, and saw his blood clone change. It grew taller, and took on different features. After two minutes, it revealed The Sage. "Everyone, please welcome the founder of ninshu. The Rikudou Sennin."
Everyone immediately got up, and bowed. They were honored to be in his presence. He waved them off, and spoke. "Rise. We have much to discuss. First off, I must know. Do you know about my two sons, Indra and Ashura?"
Everyone nodded, seeing as they were the founders of the Uchiha and Senju Clans respectively. The Sage smiled, seeing that some people remembered. "Alright, well you must know that when they last met, it was in battle. Since then, they have reincarnated over and over again. Trying to seek peace, but only to end up fighting again. This time, fortune has smiled upon us all, and they have reincarnated again. Naruto is the latest reincarnation of Ashura. Meanwhile Indra's reincarnation is... Sasuke."
Everyone turned to look at Sasuke, who looked shocked. He just spoke, "So Naruto and I are... brothers?"
The Sage nodded, confirming the truth. "Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I must give Sasuke a gift. They aren't as powerful as the Rinnegan, but they come very close. I gift to you, the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. They were Indra's, and now you will have them. Though I guess you could say I'm just giving them back to you, since technically they're yours."
Everyone was now shocked, except Naruto, who had a vague idea on what would happen. Fugaku stood, and asked. "Why are you doing this, what's going on?"
"Because someone is trying to free my mother from her prison. Her name is Kaguya. She is the progenitor of chakra. She saw my brother and I teaching people long ago to use it, and she felt the need to take it away from them. Unfortunately, she did so cruelly, forcing Hamura and I to seal her away in the moon. Hamura guarded her, while I protected Earth."
This caused everyone to leap out of their seat. This didn't sound good at all. Before anyone said anything, The Sage continued. "That is why I'll be leaving instructions inside of yours, and Naruto's mind ,Sasuke. You must get stronger to protect the world in my stead. For you both will be the keys to peace."
With that, he vanished. Leaving Naruto's jutsu to turn into a puddle of blood. Naruto tapped on a seal on top of his desk, and it cleaned the mess. He turned to the three shinobi in his office.
"Now you see why it was important? We need to keep this under wraps. Hokage-sama? Can you notify Danzo, as well as get Jiraya to come here? We need to find out what's going outside of Konoha, and we'll need both their talents to do so." Asked Naruto.
"Right away. If what The Sage said is true, then we best prepare for war. Whoever is causing such a mess is surely going to be extremely powerful. Especially if they're trying to resurrect Kaguya. The story goes that she ate a chakra fruit, and granted her immense power. She alone created chakra. She also, if the tale holds true, turned into the original bijuu... The Juubi." Replied The Hokage.
Making a mental note to ask Kurama later, Naruto dismissed them. They all left, except for Sasuke. He walked up to the Uchiha, and motioned him to follow. Sasuke did just that, and followed him out of his home. Naruto lead the way out of his house. Zabuza saw them, and got up to follow them. Naruto waved him off, and continued on his way.
Naruto walked out of the compound, and to a secluded part of Konoha's forest. He kept walking until he reach a clearing with a pond, with a waterfall fed by a spring. He sat down on his knees, and motioned Sasuke to do the same. Sasuke sat down, and waited patiently for the blonde to speak. Naruto took a deep breath, and looked up towards the night sky.
"Sasuke. What is your goal in life? Why do you wish to become strong?" Asked Naruto.
Sasuke didn't respond. He was now racing through his thoughts. Trying to find an honest answer. After a while, he spoke. "Hn. I couldn't say. Honestly, at first it was to surpass my brother, and go above and beyond my father's expectations. However, recently that feels like an empty and fruitless goal. Now, I suppose I don't have a direction to go in."
Naruto nodded, and asked. "What about this Kaguya business? What do you think about that?"
"It scares me. To think someone like that is going to be set free is nerve wracking. On top of that, someone, or a group of people is trying to set her free."
"Hmmm. Tell me Sasuke, how would you feel if someone were to attack, and kill your family? Your mother, and brother? Even your father?"
"I would feel angry. Furious. I would stop at nothing to get revenge."
"What would you do in order to protect them? To prevent this from happening?"
"I would train as hard as I could. Every. Single. Day. I will make it, so that nothing like that never happens."
Naruto stood up, and grinned at Sasuke. "That's very good to hear Sasuke. Very good indeed. Come. We'll start training in the morning. Meet me at Training Ground 3 before dawn. I'll be teaching you something I'm sure you'd like."
Sasuke got a little excited, because he was pretty sure on what Naruto meant. He could already imagine how powerful he would become. They went out of the forest, and both went to there respective homes. Sasuke reached his home, and saw his brother in the living room. Itachi heard Sasuke coming through the door, and got up to greet him. "Hello Sasuke. How was your talk with Uzumaki-sama?"
"Good. Very good. If I'm right about tomorrow, then I'll become very powerful."
"Oh? What's tomorrow then?"
"Naruto didn't say it directly, but he was hinting at training me to becoming a Spartan!"
Itachi was now thoroughly impressed. He heard how effective Naruto's training was, and how much he thrashed Kakashi while doing a bell test. That was months ago, and rumor has it that he has the full ability to use all of the Kyuubi's power. Very strong indeed.
"Is it alright if I joined you? I need some practice if I'm to fully recover from my disease. I need better chakra control for what I intend to learn. That, and I need to exercise. Now that I won't pass out from having a coughing fit, I should become better than I ever had before." Asked Itachi.
Sasuke nodded. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind, but he wants us at Training Ground 3 before dawn. I wasn't fully paying attention, as I was a little giddy at the thought, but he seemed a little... too happy about this. So he may very well train us until our bones snap."
Itachi didn't doubt that, but he didn't think it would be that extreme. Nonetheless, he made sure to prepare for training from hell. The two brothers bid each other a good night, and slept.
Naruto was waiting at the third training ground, waiting for Sasuke to show up. Haku was there with him, as he wanted to make sure that she was ready for the chunin exams. Zabuza Said he would let him do most of the training, as he was the stronger of the two, and more versatile in his ways. The Demon of The Mist was primarily an assassin, though he did some heavy hitting every now and again.
Naruto heard the trees rustling, and got ready for the day. He saw Sasuke appear, and land in front of him. He was surprised to see Itachi there with him. He shrugged to himself, as he didn't see it as an issue. As a matter of fact, it actually was better. Seeing as Itachi was a natural born prodigy of the Sharingan, he would be able to help them both in using them.
He motioned to Haku to join them, then proceeded to address everyone before him. "Alright! Even though there are more of you than expected, we will work around it, and use it to our advantage. Today we will warm up with 1000 laps around the training ground. Let's get a move on people!" Instructed Naruto.
Itachi, Sasuke, and Haku nodded. With Naruto running with them, they all completed their laps. Naruto naturally finished first with Itachi close behind. Haku and Sasuke finished last in a tie. With everyone warmed up and ready, Naruto then said. "Alright ladies! Time for some exercise! I want you all to drop and give me 200 push-ups!"
They all got on the ground, and started to exercise. Naruto joined them for this as well. Naruto and Itachi were done at the same time, and had time to kill while the other two were finishing there set, so they were both doing one handed push-ups until they were finished.
"Ok! Now that everyone is done, we'll now be doing sit ups and squats. 200 of each, now move it!" Ordered Naruto.
The same as before, all four of them did the exercises. Afterwards, Naruto gathered them around for more training. He had them stand in a line before him, and he paced back and forth between them as he spoke.
"Well then, we've done our exercises, now we get to the good stuff. Sasuke! Haku! You two will be sparring partners, while Itachi is with me. Before we even think about holding a weapon today, we first must master hand to hand combat. That's why we'll learn to wrestle today. If you ask me why, here's your answer: to learn to fight, you must first do the basics. A weapon, like my spear, is an extension of your body. It is also a damage multiplier. If you can do a lot of damage with just your hands, than it will be a hundred fold with a weapon in your hands."
They went with their respective partners, and started to spar. They fought all morning, and into the afternoon. Itachi and Naruto were impressive to watch, since both were pretty fit, and are very fast. Though Naruto had the upper hand in stamina. Itachi was hard pressed to even get a hold on him. Which was why he lost almost all of their bouts. He did win a couple of them though.
Sasuke and Haku were about evenly matched. They both won and lost the same amount as each other. Naruto called a break, and lead them over to the shade. He unsealed lunch. It was fish, rice, and vegetables. Not super appetizing, yet it filled them up. Itachi didn't mind, as the food in ANBU was lesser in comparison. Sasuke wasn't of the same opinion. Haku just ate what she had while on the run with Zabuza. So she didn't care.
Naruto then stood up. "Ok, we'll be getting your weapons. This is how training will go. We warm up, do exercise, wrestle, train with weapons, and we finally do chakra stuff. Let's go get our weapons."
Naruto led the group to a weapon shop. When he walked in, Tenten saw him, and gave him a big hug. Squishing his face into her boobs, Tenten gave him a warm welcome. "Naruto! You finally came. When you placed an order for all those weapons, I was so happy to work on something so unique!"
The rest came in after Naruto. Itachi and Sasuke smirked at the sight before them, while Haku wasn't happy. Naruto just quickly returned the hug, whilst copping a feel of Tenten's ass. He did it sneakily, so no one except him and Tenten knew what happened. She led the way, while blushing a bit, and showed them the weapons. Itachi and Sasuke both got spears and shields, while Haku got a short sword and a bow. Getting the idea, the trio left to the training ground, and Naruto stayed behind to pay.
Tenten pulled Naruto in, and whispered "your a naughty boy..."
"Well, we're just going to have to see how naughty I can be later. For now I leave you with this." He leaned in, and gave her a hickey. He reached up her shirt, and squeezed here tits, and with his other hand, he pinched her clit. She moaned as she came from his handiwork. He left her a hot mess when he walked out of the store. She would be dreaming about the interaction all day that day.
Naruto walked into Training Ground 3, and saw the three others talking amongst each other. He jogged up to them, and started instructing again. "Now that we're armed and dangerous, you'll be learning to use your weapons. Sasuke! You and Itachi will use your spears on the training dummies, while Haku does target practice. I'll be helping her today, as I have complete faith that you'll be able to learn on your own. Remember, no jutsu until I say you can! Now hop to it!"
Itachi led Sasuke to the opposite side of the field, while Haku was left with Naruto. Naruto turned to the ice user, and saw a uncomfortable look in her eyes. Something akin to... jealousy?
"Haku? Is something the matter? If your not feeling well then we can..." Naruto said.
"It's not that, it's just how that girl from the weapon shop. They way she was coddling you made me feel upset, and I didn't know what to do..." replied Haku, who was on the verge of tears.
Naruto pulled her into a tight embrace. "It's going to be alright. Do you remember our night in your apartment?" She nodded. "Do you remember right before we became one, how I told you about my goal to restore the Uzumaki clan?" Asked Naruto.
Haku nodded, now remembered their wonderful night together that day. She blushed a bit from embarrassment, and from the explicit memories of their intercourse.
She calmed down, remembering that as the last living male of the Uzumaki, he was obligated to rebuild his clan.
"If it makes you feel better Haku, you may join Tenten and I in bed tonight." Said Naruto teasingly.
She just nodded, barely registering what he said. He then ordered her to string her bow, after showing her how of course. He had set up a few targets. One at twenty five meters, then another at fifty. Then a hundred, and finally two hundred. He began telling her how to use a bow, and after five minutes, he made her fire her first arrow at the closest target. She pulled the bowstring to her cheek, and let go. She watched in slow motion as the arrow sailed through the air, and watched as it... missed.
Naruto laughed when it missed, which prompted Haku to slap his arms. He raised his arms to defend himself, laughing harder when Haku pouted playfully. He was grinning after he was done laughing. He chuckled once more and got Haku to fire again.
"Haku, when aiming with a bow, remember these words. Aim small, miss small." Said Naruto.
She nodded, and took his words to heart. She pulled back, aimed for the smallest part of the center of the target, and let loose. The arrow flew in the air. It struck the target. Naruto smiled, and felt proud. Haku couldn't believe the difference between the two shots. The arrow had hit dead center. She smiled, and squealed in excitement. "Naruto-kun! Did you see that!? I did it, your advice worked!" Shouted Haku.
"Hai, I sure did Haku-chan. Well done. Now let's see if you can do it again, ne?"
She did so, and hit the spot to the right of the second arrow. Just a half inch to the right. Naruto nodded approvingly, and made her move onto the second target. He told her to keep practicing, and went to spectate the Uchiha brothers. He wandered over to the other side, and saw them staring and slasheing the training dummies. He summoned two blood clones, and with a grin, all three blonde's erupted in a cloud of smoke. They came out in full battle armor. Shields out, and spears ready. Naruto whistled to the two brothers.
They turned to him, and immediately paled at the sight before them. Three armored and dangerous blonde Uzumaki. The two clones walked over to them, and lashed out. Both barely used their shields to block the strikes. That's how a brutal spar with sharp weapons went. The two Uchiha were struggling to keep up with the blonde. The original kept watch, and made sure they didn't use their Sharingan. When they did he used his Rinnegan to make the gravity around them, and used it to weigh them down. They realized what had happened, and came to the conclusion to not try Naruto's patience.
Sasuke, being impatient, got fed up with the beat down. He unfortunately sent a large fire ball towards the unsuspecting clone. It incinerated it, but he didn't realize the danger he had just put himself in. Because now he has to face the original.
Naruto saw his clone get destroyed by a fireball, after he knowingly instructed them not to use jutsu yet. He tensed his muscles, and shot up above the young Uchiha in a single jump. Leaving a crater behind. Sasuke ears picked up on a sonic boom coming towards him, and he only had enough sense to jump out of the way. Naruto landed where Sasuke once stood. A huge column of dust, debris, and smoke rose to a thousand feet into the air.
Sasuke got ready, knowing he had messed up. He didn't expect Naruto to come out of the smoke. He had his spear in one hand, and his dagger in the other. Seeing him exposed, Sasuke rushed the defenseless blonde. Naruto was anything but defenseless. He side stepped Sasuke, and tripped him with his spear. Sasuke landed on his side, and was about to get up, when he felt cold steel against his throat. He froze, and looked up at the blonde. Cold blue eyes stared into his onyx, and he shuddered. He felt fear send chills down his spine as the Spartan before him said one word. "Dead."
Naruto retracted his spear, walked back to his spot, and waited for the Uchiha to get up. Seeing no other option, Sasuke realized he had no choice in the matter. Instead of beating a clone, he was going to get beaten by the clone's maker. Beaten he did get. After three hours of sparing, he was almost unrecognizable. Itachi and Haku realized that day: Don't disobey Naruto.
After healing Sasuke, they finally moved onto Ninjutsu. Naruto just let them do their own thing, as he didn't know how to teach them. He decided to combine releases. He started with wind and water. Turns out he was a natural at this because he immediately covered the whole training ground in two feet of ice. Immediately catching the attention of Haku. She slid over to where he stood, and let curiosity take over.
"How! How did you do this? How are you able to do this?" Asked Haku.
Naruto just said this. "My Rinnegan. It grants me the ability to use all of the elements. Since I've mastered the primary elements long ago, I decided it was high time to start combining them. Before you can ask, it's technically not a bloodline limit, yet it is at the same time. I'm currently the only one in the entire continent who is able to combine and use all five elements naturally. The only who has more mastery over me is the Third Hokage. That is also because it took him years of hard work to achieve this. Which is why he is still Hokage, and I'm not. I still have a long way to go. Though I suppose it won't matter in a couple years."
Haku nodded, and noticed the ice had melted. She decided to learn some ice jutsu with Naruto, seeing that's what they now had even more in common. Sasuke saw this, and felt a little jealous. Not only had more power than he did, but had a girl he could relate to, and fall in love with. He shook his head, knowing it was just some petty feelings. He went back to learning lightning release.
Naruto learned a slew of new jutsu. He felt he had more time to kill, and decided to add lightning into the mix.
He channeled some chakra, and combined both lightning and water. He didn't feel anything different, nor did he see anything, so he decided to dump a quarter of his chakra into what he was doing. He finally noticed something. Haku, Itachi, and Sasuke where on the outskirts of the training ground. With The Hokage, a squad of ANBU, all the top Jonin, the Jonin Commander, all the Clan Heads, and surprisingly enough Jiraya was there too.
He was wondering why everyone was there, when he heard a large boom over head. He looked up, and above him was a large category five hurricane. He was standing in the eye. Rain suddenly came down in a huge torrential downpour. It started to flood the streets, and lightning cracked overhead, and thunder deafened those who cared to listen. Winds up to 254 km/h raged through the village, causing widespread destruction. Immediately Naruto cut off chakra from the storm, and like that, it disappeared.
He sheepishly scratched the back of his head, chuckling nervously at how irritated everyone looked. Especially since everyone was absolutely soaked. The Hokage just let out a tired sigh, and dismissed everyone there. He then gave Naruto a look that promised that a talk was in order.
Knowing what was coming later, he only mentally prepared for what Hiruzen was planning on doing. A stern talking too, and maybe some chores. Nothing too much considering that Naruto was a highly influential figure in Konoha. Being a clan head of the Uzumaki, and the son of a kage had its perks.
He just used a large scale repair seal on the whole village. He made it in case something similar had happened to his home. He poured chakra into it, and immediately buildings that were destroyed or damaged were instantly repaired. He knew now he was in the clear, but still expected to get chewed out. He would listen, but if anything harsh was said, he would remind the old man on how powerful he really was.
He simply walked home. Sasuke decided to follow him. He was a little terrified on how potentially powerful Naruto was, yet was impressed at the same time. He ended up catching up to him, and walked along side him.
"So are you going to be in a lot of trouble later?" Asked Sasuke.
"No. It would be comparable to a slap on the wrist. A light one at that. Since I already fixed everything, he can't actually punish me for destroying the village, as all the proof disappeared. On top of that, since the Uzumaki Clan are so important to this village, the fact I'm the son of a kage, and if pushed to much, I'm the most powerful immediate threat to this village.
Hiruzen knows outright, he couldn't beat me. I've got too much chakra, my control is perfect, and I have the most powerful tailed beast on my side. So I won't have to worry about a thing. Though I'm most definitely going to get chewed out for being so reckless. I don't blame him for what he's about to say either. What I did was completely inexcusable, and I should have prepped more."
Sasuke just nodded, seeing as it made sense. He then asked Naruto another question. "So, do you want to hang out today? The rest of the Genin from our class are having a little get together before the chunin exams start. Though I suppose you don't have to worry about taking them, as you're already a kage leveled Jonin that could dish out punishment to everyone that took the exams..."
Naruto simply nodded, and let Sasuke lead the way. He did not mind some company right now. He got to a restaurant, and made a comment to Sasuke. "Wait here, I'll be back."
He threw a kunai on the ground, and teleported to his house. He quickly picked up Haku, carrying her bridal style, and teleported back. She blinked whilst looking around. She saw that they were at a restaurant. She sighed at her boyfriend's antics. She should've known he would do this eventually. With that, Naruto grabbed his kunai from off the ground, and went inside.
They followed Sasuke to a table. There they saw Sakura, Team 10, and Team 8 sitting down, waiting for their food to arrive. Sasuke sat down, and Naruto took his place across from him. Haku sat next to Naruto. Everyone besides Sasuke were surprised that Naruto had shown up. Kiba, being ever so bold, made a snide comment.
"Well! Look who finally deigned to grace us with his presence! If it isn't Mr.Uzumaki!" He said with a cocky smirk. Everyone was shocked that Kiba would talk that way to Naruto. Naruto simply looked at Kiba, and said, "Did you say something Kiba?"
Kiba turned around, clenching his fist in frustration. He was cursing Naruto's ability to not give a shit. Everyone saw this, and had to stifle a laugh. A waiter came by, and placed a large platter of food. Before he could leave, Naruto flagged him down. He whispered something in the waiter's ear, and he nodded with a smile, and a thumbs up. Ino saw this, and was trying to press Naruto for answers.
"Hey! What did you tell him?" Asked Ino.
"Tell who what?" Innocently replied Naruto.
"The waiter of course! Spill it! What did you say to him!"
"Hmmm, I can't seem to remember, my mind was seemingly taking the path of life."
"Wha-hey! Your not going to avoid this for long!"
"Ma Ma! You're making a scene."
Ino paused, then looked around. All the other tables were staring at her. She blushed a bit, and sat down grumbling about a certain irritating Uzumaki. Smirking in victory, Naruto ate some food. Suddenly the waiter came back, this time with sake, and a couple of sake cups. He placed them both in front of Haku and Naruto. Everyone was shocked. That's what he told the waiter!
He sniffed the sake, and was pleased with its great quality. Pouring into both cups, he and Haku took a sip of the spirits.
Satisfied with the taste, he began eating some more. The Genin didn't know what to say. After about ten minutes of silence, Ino had enough. "What are you doing drinking alcohol!? You're to young!" Demanded Ino, who was a bit more manageable than before.
"Ino. I'm a shinobi. Not only that, but I'm a Jonin, and the Uzumaki Clan Head to boot. I have killed, and I've stolen. I have spied upon many, and gathered information for the good of this village. I think I'm allowed to have some sake for my troubles."
Ino just stopped talking after that, for she couldn't think of a retort. She sighed in defeat, and nibbled on some food. Sasuke thought about what he said, and figured drinking alcohol at his age, in his line of work, wasn't so bad after all. So he just nodded, and went to eat. Naruto saw that everyone was quiet, and uncomfortable, so he asked a question.
"So, what does everyone want to do after lunch? I think some sparring would be nice."
Everyone looked at each other, and nodded. Sasuke recalled his earlier sparring session, and could only feel bad for what was about to happen. Everyone finished their lunch, and Naruto lead the way to Training Ground 3. When he got there, he immediately turned around, and erupted into a cloud of smoke. Everyone was cough, and trying to clear the smoke with their hands.
When it eventually cleared, Naruto was in his full battle attire. His spear was gleaming dangerously in the sunlight. He had his shield out, it look ready to smash faces in. He brandished both, and asked, "How should we do this? One at a time, by teams, or all of you against me? Preferably, I would choose the last one if I were you."
Everyone narrowed their eyes, thinking he was being cocky and arrogant. Haku, Sasuke, and Sakura however just kept quiet, thinking this was a good way to see how strong everyone else had become. Team 7 decided not to engage, especially Sasuke. He was still a bit sore and stiff from the training session with Naruto. So he decided to sit down next to a tree, and watch the fireworks happen.
"You couldn't possibly take us all on and win! You're not that tough!" Growled Kiba.
"How about you put your money where your mouth is. All of you against me. Here, how about I sweeten this with a bet. 1500 ryo says I win."
Everyone else immediately put in for the bet, because to them that was quite the reward. Sasuke knew better than to bet against Naruto. If for no other reason than he had the luck of the devil. That, and he knew how immensely powerful Naruto truly is, as well as the fact he lost a lot of money by playing poker with the rotten blonde.
Everyone didn't do much, as they sat there, their time to get ready dwindling. They didn't plan, they didn't talk to each other, they all kind of grouped up, and waited for him to start. A grave mistake. Little to their knowledge, except for Naruto, all the Jonin sensei we're watching from the far side of the clearing. They were all having lunch out there, and heard what was about to happen. They felt sorry for the Genin that picked a fight with one Uzumaki Naruto.
Naruto made a clone to be ref for the match. He asked everyone one last question. "Easy, Medium, or Hard?"
"What?" Asked Shikamaru.
"How difficult do you want this spar to be? Easy, Medium, or Hard? Or do you prefer Impossible?" Naruto explained.
Before anyone could asked, a fired up Kiba answered for them. "I don't care how difficult you make it, I want you to give it everything you got, so when I beat you, you'll feel pathetic!"
Everyone immediately began cursing Kiba, because Naruto adopted a cruel smirk. One that promised pain and suffering. "I was hoping you would say that..."
Naruto did something that confused everyone, and make all the girls blush. He took of his helmet, and his mask. He took off his armor, and put up his spear and shield. He took off his shirt, and his sandals, and was left in a pair of training pants.
His arms were wrapped in cloth, similar to how Gai does his. Naruto's hair flowed in a wind that no one else could feel. That is when the ground started to shake. Naruto got into a fighting stance, and blue chakra flared around him, weighing down the area around him in a fifteen foot radius. All they could see was a wall of blue that went up to Naruto's waist.
His hair started to float from the chakra, and his eyes turned a solid blue. Giving him an eerie look. He spoke, in a deep, deep, almost impossible to hear voice. "Prepare yourselves. Here I come..."
Everyone only had enough time to tense up, because Naruto disappeared in a flash of blue, and yellow light. Sasuke, Sakura, Haku, and the Jonin Sensei were shocked at how powerful Naruto really was. What shocked them the most was that he wasn't using any Bijuu chakra. It was all him. They're immediately next thought was at how stupid and brash Kiba was. Not even they could even think about taking on Naruto, and coming out unscathed.
They all remembered (except for Haku) what happened to Kakashi during the bell test, and could only think what Naruto was capable of now, since he's clearly gotten way stronger since then. They could only pray that the Genin survived the encounter. The Hokage appeared behind the Jonin.
"What's going on? Why is Naruto half naked? What is he doing now?" Asked Hiruzen.
Sasuke came up to him, and explained. Hiruzen blinked and broke out laughing, shaking his head. "Don't worry about the Genin. If what I think is happening, is happening, then the only thing that's going to be wounded is their pride. Naruto's going to play around with them. The only ones whose ever beaten him in a spar, is Kakashi, Hiashi, Fugaku, and I. That was when he finished his training.
Now, I don't we could beat him, though I would be hard pressed to try. The only reason I could possibly still win, is because I have decades more experience than he does. That won't matter when he reaches his prime. His ability to absorb knowledge, coupled with his ability to make almost a hundred thousand or so shadow clones, he could easily catch up and surpass me. If motivated enough. I don't think anyone of us could make an effort to even match him in anyway. He fights dirty, and is very adaptive."
Everyone blinked, then let out a collective sigh. If Naruto was already that powerful, then the Genin were about to be embarrassed. Naruto reappeared behind them, and with a flash of his hands, he did a large scale wind jutsu. "Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!"
A enormous, and powerful gust of wind knocked the Genin down, and blew them a hundred feet forward. Naruto immediately followed up with a fire jutsu. "Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame."
The Genin quickly dodged, and ran out of the way of the giant wave of fire. They looked at the destruction it caused, and saw half the forest was missing. Just a giant charred mess was left. Everyone felt chills down their spine, realizing the mess they were in now. They were going to kill Kiba if they survived this.
They all disappeared, and regrouped in a thicket of trees. They had to come up with a plan. They couldn't fight that head on, they would immediately lose. Kakashi was sitting in a tree above them, curious on what they would come up with. He knew how Naruto like to play, and he played unpredictably. He knew that whatever Naruto did to counter, you can't plan for.
It was one of the things that makes Kakashi glad that Naruto wasn't the enemy. They would be absolutely annihilated by one person, and Konoha would've become a laughing stock. Kakashi shook his head, and focused in on the conversation. He felt a presence next to him, and almost laughed out loud. Next to him, was one of Naruto's shadow clones. Spying on the Genin.
"Alright now that we're out of sight, we need to find a way to at least land a hit on him. If we can hit him, then beating him won't be as hard. That's easier said than done. Team 7 isn't participating, which means we can't learn about his abilities. That also means that they didn't help on purpose, which speaks volumes about our opponent." Spoke Shikamaru. Everyone nodded.
"Why can't we just surround him, and start bombarding him!? He can't block all of us!" Growled Kiba.
"Quiet! He'll hear us if we shout. We will, but we need to do more hit and runs on him. We don't know what he's capable of. For all we know, surrounding him won't work. For now, we'll do this." Explained Shikamaru.
After hearing their plan, the shadow clone disappeared in a silent poof of smoke. Kakashi started laughing, which caused all the Genin to jump in surprise. "Well that was a good try. Unfortunately for you, you didn't make sure the coast was clear and checked to see if Naruto was spying on you."
"Hey what's that supposed to mean!" Shouted Kiba.
"It means he was spying on us, and is aware we're going to try something. Let's stick with the plan, and improvise along the way."
Naruto waited in the center of the training ground. He was board, and decided to set up some traps. After about an hour of trapping the area. He used a combination of both physical, and Fuinjutsu traps. Mostly fuinjutsu, because he felt like it. He felt an influx of memories from the clone he sent to spy on the Genin. He took a deep breath, and disappeared into the trees. He made another clone to act as a decoy.
He concealed his chakra, and made sure to set up a barrier preventing dojutsu from finding him. He would make it impossible to find him. For added measure, a henged into a raven. Up on a branch, he waited for the Genin to make their move. They all rushed in from all sides, trying to get to his clone. Kiba got caught in a snare trap, and got flung against a tree. Shino, Hinata, and Shikamaru got caught in individual chakra traps. Binding them in place, while making sure they can't use chakra.
Choji got his leg stuck in a deep hole big enough for his leg, nearly breaking it in the process. He winced in pain, and tried to warn Ino, but it was too late. Ino made it to the shadow clone without any trouble. She thought she was going to win all the money. She struck "Naruto" in the chest. She was happy she hit him, and was going to follow up with a kick when she felt something wrong. Naruto wasn't defending himself.
"Ino! Lookout, it's..." shouted Shikamaru.
It was too late though. She looked at Naruto. She watched as her foot connected with his sternum. Naruto looked at Ino, and said with a wink. "Better luck next time. Katsu!"
Naruto started to glow, and was Ino's only warning that she should try and escape. She nearly did too. Because Naruto exploded.
The heat could be felt across the field, and Ino flew across the ground, hit it with a hard skid, and tumbled over twenty feet away. A large storm brewed over head, a smaller torrent of rain soaked them. A large bolt of lightning struck the ground, electrifying the Genin. Naruto stood in the center, a bored look on his face. He threw a tri-pronged kunai at each of the Genins' feet. He tapped the ground, and the traps undid themselves. All of them didn't know what to do. Kiba immediately got up, and tried to make a last ditch effort to try and harm Naruto. Naruto just disappeared, leaving an after image in his stead.
That concluded the spar, as all of the Genin hit the ground unconscious. Naruto reappeared at the center, with his back the the Genin. "Well... that was kind of lack luster." Said Naruto.
The Hokage, and the Jonin sweatdropped, and came over to congratulate him on his win. Naruto gathered the Genin with a slew of clones, and set them before him. Using a small water jutsu, he splashed them awake. Everyone jolted awake, and nearly entangled themselves with each other. When they realized what had happened they all jumped up to attack Naruto.
"ENOUGH!" Shouted The Hokage. "The spar is over. You all lost. Now can you all tell me why you lost?"
"We didn't realize that Naruto had spied on us, and we goaded him into becoming an impossible target to defeat. Instead of keeping an eye out, and using our heads to come up with a collective plan, we let our guards down. We thought he was bluffing about taking us all on." Said Shikamaru.
Hiruzen nodded, and spoke. "Good, though that's not all. You should've had someone keep an eye on him as well. He had enough time to trap the whole area, and he spied on you with a jutsu. Next time whisper your plan, and cover your mouths so he doesn't read your lips. Naruto has advanced senses, and reflexes. You still would lose even if you did better, because Naruto is unpredictable, and is very much into fighting dirty.
Just be lucky he decided to actually go easy on you. He didn't use any of his lethal weapons. If he really wanted to, he could have very easily killed you all with that fire jutsu. He could have sprayed it all around himself, leaving no room to escape."
Everyone was shocked at this revelation. Everyone grew to respect Naruto immediately, not only his power, but for the fact he could back up what he says. Though that didn't mean they weren't shocked that Naruto went easy on them. He could've ended it before it even began. Though a thought crossed Shikamaru's mind.
"Why didn't Team 7 help out then, he was there teammate at one point wasn't he?"
"Hn, I didn't because he gave me a beat down during training earlier, and Sakura knew she doesn't stand a chance against someone of Naruto's caliber. If Itachi was here right now, you would have seen Naruto take this a bit more seriously. Even then, he has his own dojutsu to combat ours. His is even stronger than the Sharingan as well. He wouldn't even bother with us small fry." Said Sasuke.
"Damn! Why didn't you say anything Teme!" Shouted Kiba.
"Because you wouldn't have believed him Kiba, and mind who your talking to." Sternly said Naruto.
Kiba shivered at the harsh tone Naruto gave him. He backed off, and walked off to go home. Everyone else did the same. Except for Ino, and Haku. Naruto walked up to her, and asked, "Are you alright Ino-chan? I got you pretty good there."
"Hai, though I'm not 100% sure. That explosion was painful, and you followed it up with lightning, and a chop to the neck. If you can do a medical scan on me, and heal what you broke, maybe I can forgive you." Said Ino. She was serious at first, and turned playful at the end.
Naruto nodded, and placed his hand over Ino's chest. He closed his eyes, and nodded. He felt something soft and squishy in his hand. He saw that his hand was now groping Ino. Unknowingly to him, Haku was watching him, and playfully shoved Ino into him. Ino was blushing like a tomato. Naruto slowly let go.
"Ahem! Well looks like your alright, but if you want, I can make up for it with food at my place."
Ino nodded, and was looking forward for a night with the blonde Uzumaki. She remembered that he was still shirtless. She immediately started daydreaming about his body, and what else he was packing around. She sighed happily, and went to get ready for a night to remember.
Naruto was walking towards his home when an ANBU came and got him. He felt the agent appear next to him.
"Am I in trouble ANBU-san?" He asked.
"Most definitely, considering you did cause a hurricane to spawn in the middle of the village. Thankfully you fixed it immediately afterwards, he is still a little salty about it, so just behave, and he'll get over it." Said the agent.
Naruto nodded, and felt the ANBU body flicker to the tower. Naruto focused on the Hiraishin mark there, and flashed away. He reappeared in the office. Before he could greet the Hokage, the ANBU that spoke to him appeared in a kneeling position.
"Hokage-sama, he'll be here shortly." Said the ANBU.
"Well I don't know about shortly, because he arrived before you did." Replied the Hokage.
The ANBU looked around, and saw Naruto trying to hide a smirk on his face. Hiruzen just chuckled at the interaction, then dismissed the ANBU agent.
Naruto was alone with Hiruzen, and he heard the old kage sigh. "You know what I'm going to say, so I won't say it. Just let me know before you try combining the elements like that, or you can possibly kill a villager in the process. That storm you made was a really close call."
Naruto nodded, and remained silent.
"Then you go and nearly injured all of the fresh Genin. I know that Kiba instigated, but you need to keep it cool when it comes to that. I won't say anything else about it, because it was a good wake up call for them to take this a lot more seriously."
Naruto nodded again, and remained silent.
"The only reason you're not in jail, and stripped of your titles, is because your an important political figure, and you fixed the damage. No one got hurt, that is also why I'm simply letting you off with a warning."
"Thank you Hokage-sama." Naruto said with a bow.
"Now that that's out of the way, I want you to meet someone whose been dying to meet you. You should know who he is, because you read his literature."
"You mean Jiraya of the Sannin?" Asked Naruto.
The Hokage just nodded. He heard the window open, and in came a tall, white haired man.
"Wassup old man! I heard you wanted to meet some...one......" said Jiraya.
Naruto didn't move. His hair shadowing his eyes. He was shaking, and Jiraya felt a twinge of sadness in his chest.
"Naruto... Um... geese you think I would have come up with something to say... Naruto? Do you know who I am?" Jiraya asked.
Naruto slowly turned around, his hair still shadowing his face. He was shaking more now. Jiraya was about to ask if he was okay, when Naruto disappeared, and he felt a fist deep inside his gut. He hunched over in pain, and felt a strong pair of arms wrapped around his shoulders.
"What took you so long? My father would've wanted you to at least check up on me. You are my godfather after all." Said Naruto, who was now crying.
Jiraya just returned the hug, realizing he had messed up.
"Well if it makes you feel better, I did give you a gift once. Your little frog wallet, which I think you call..."
"Gamma-chan? You're the one who gave me Gamma-chan?!" Asked Naruto, dumbfounded.
Jiraya nodded, and ruffled his godson's hair. He smiled, thinking that he was out of the woods. Until Naruto got him in a headlock.
"That doesn't make up for almost fourteen years of you not being here! You're lucky that your family, or you would've become ground meat!" Shouted Naruto.
Jiraya didn't respond, because his face was turning blue from the lack of oxygen. Naruto saw this, and let him go. When he did, Jiraya promptly fell face first into the floor. Naruto panicked, and anime tears poured down his face, because he had thought Jiraya was dead.
The Hokage sweatdropped, and deadpanned at the scene in front of him. He pinched the bridge of his nose, and let out a loud sigh. He heard Naruto still crying, and he angrily shouted at him. "Will you cut that out already! HE'S NOT DEAD!"
Naruto jumped at the sudden noise, and heard Jiraya groan in grogginess. He got up and grabbed a chair, reminding himself not to make Naruto mad, or upset. Naruto grabbed a chair, and sat with him across from The Hokage. Hiruzen nodded in approval, and started the meeting.
"Good, now that we're all here, calm and ready, we can get down to business. First of all, welcome back Jiraya."
"It's good to be back, Sensei." Said Jiraya.
"Hmmm... next order of business is to fill you in. Heads up though. Naruto is at the center of everything that has happened. It all started when Naruto was just five years old..."
After five hours of discussion, Jiraya just dragged a hand down the right side of his face.
"So you met The Sage, huh? You and Sasuke, are his reincarnated sons, you'll save the world from his mother, you have both the Rinnegan and Tenseigan, and to top all off, you found a leather bag full of scrolls and books, and they've taught you to be an all powerful warrior. Does that sum everything up, or did I miss anything?" Jiraya drawled.
"Hmmm... I guess I forgot to tell you, that I have made a summoning contract with The Kyuubi, I have a girlfriend from the Yuki Clan, I plan on rebuilding and ruling Uzushio, and I'm the Uzumaki Clan Head, and I'm currently looking for other survivors."
Jiraya just threw his hands up in the air in pure exasperation. He didn't think there wasn't more. He missed out on a lot. A lot that happened in such a small amount of time. He looked at Naruto, and asked. "So what's the part you want me to do, and I hear Danzo of all people is involved somehow?"
"We're wondering if you can tell us about any groups that may have an hand in Kaguya's resurrection. They would probably be S-Ranked or higher. Maybe a merc group, or a group that passes for mercenaries." Responded Naruto.
"Well there is one that matches the description. Well to, though I suspect they're one and the same. There was a group called the Akatsuki, they formed during The Third Shinobi War. Rumor has it they were formed to bring peace in Ame, since their land was being torn askew with three of the five Great Nations.
They went dark after the war ended, but they recently started up not long after Naruto was born. I heard they've recruited some high ranking missing ninja. I've heard that Orochimaru used to be apart of them, but a fallout with the leader of Akatsuki, and he was sent packing. Fearing for his life." Jiraya said.
