A Happy Ending

Monica:
Oh god! Kitni sundar lag rahi hai meri didi!
Anu:
Sacchi...ekdam apsara.
Kriti:
Ruko...ruko! Ek cheez baaki hai. Monica Masi..neeche jhuko!

She bent down and Kriti took bit kajal from Monica's eyes and applied of Mallika's neck.

Kriti:
Mummy ko kisiki nazar na lage!
Anu:
Awww mera baccha!

Siya walked in the room

Sumedh:
Woww! Bhabhi! Kya lag rahe ho!Ab chalo...Sumedh  Bhai wait kar rahe hai

Mallika slowly got up. Red lehenga with golden border and green moti. Deep neck blouse and heavy golden and green jewelry. Black kajal and eyeliner. And most imp...a bright smile!

She walked down the stairs and Sumedh saw her....his mouth was wide open. He had tears in his eyes. Kriti and others followed Mallika. Sumedh stood up from the mandap.
He had a aww-struck smile. He wore a golden sherwani with green and red pagdi.

She stood beside him and they shared a eye contact and then sat down.

Mallika:
Kaisi lag rahi hu?
Sumedh:
Beautiful! Sabse jyaada beautiful!
Mallika:
Tum bhi smart lag rahe ho! Handsome hunk!
Sumedh:
Thank you.

Pandit:
Ab akshada agni mein samarpit kare
They did as instructed.
Pandit:
Ab Varr mi Maa akar jodi ka gathbandhan kare.

Anu came and did as instructed. She tied a very tight knot.

Kartikey:
Bhagwan kare ki ab ye rishta kabhi na toote!
Basant:
Sachi...Aur Kartikey...agali teri aur Siya ki hi baari hai! Kyun Maa?

Basant teased and everyone laughed, Siya and Kartikey blushed.

Pandit:
Ab varr vadhu phero keliye khade ho. Saade 4 phere takk Vadhu Var ke peeche rahe...phir aage aaye.

They get up and do as told like school kids

Pandit:
Ab dono mere peeche doharay aur phir pehla phera le.

Sumedh:
Ji pandit ji.

Pandit:
1. Main sada apni patni/pati ko samman doga/dungi.

Sumedh:
Main sada apni patni ko samman doga.
Mallika:
Main sada apne pati ko samman dungi.

They took first phera.

Pandit:
2 vachan. Main apne saare sukh dukh mere jeevansaathi ko bataunga/bataungi.

Sumedh:
Main apne saare sukh dukh mere jeevansaathi ko bataunga.
Mallika:
Main apne saare sukh dukh mere jeevansaathi ko bataungi.

Pandit:
3. Main hum dono ke parivaar ko saman prem dunga/dungi
Sumedh:
Main hum dono ke parivaar ko saman prem dunga
Mallika:
Main hum dono ke parivaar ko saman prem dungi.

Pandit:
Main humesha iss rishte ka adar rakhunga/gi aur kabhi isse todne ka vichaar man mein na aane dunga/gi

They repeat.

Pandit:
Ab Vadhu vare ke aage aaye.

They do. Like they complete 7 vows and they sit down.

Panit:
Ab var vadhu ko mangalsutra pehenaye.

Basany comes with the mangalsutra. Sumedh unhocks it. He turns to Mallika, gos near her, puts his hands around her neck and then look at her. She looked at him. They smiled at each other.
She now wore the mangalsutra. It has a golden sign if infinity.

Pandit:
Var vadhu mein maang mein sindoor bhare.

Sumedh puts sindoor in her maang very properly.

Pandit:
Mubarakho...aaj se aap dono...phirse ek baar pati patni hue. Aap dono ka bandhan humesha aatoot rahe ho iss baar iss shaadi ko aap purna shraddha aur prem se nibhaye. Ab dono khade hojaye (got up) ab Vadhu varr ke pair chukar ashirvaad le phir puran parivaar ka ashirvaad le dono.

Mallika looked at Sumedh with a smile of satisfaction and Sumedh too smiled. Their smile was calm yet very happy.

Mallika bent down and touched Sumedh's feet. As she got up. Sumedh too bent down. Mallika stopped him.

Mallika:
Sumedh...kya kar rahe ho?
Sumedh:
Kyun? Tum kar sakti ho...main kyun nahi? Kar sakta hu na Pandit ji!
Pandit:
Ji...kariye!

Sumedh bent down and touched her feet. As soon as he got up. She hugged him and kissed his cheek

Sumedh:
I love you Mallika!
Mallika:
I love you too Mallika.

They took the blessing of Anu and Basant and Pandit coz all others were too young!

Anu:
Humesha khush raho.
Basant:
Aise hi saath raho.
Monica:
Ab kabhi ek dusre se durr mat jana!
Siya:
Ek dusre ka humesha aise hi saath nibhana!
Kartikey:
Aur ek dusre se aise hi pyaar karte rehena!
Devesh:
Ek dusre ka support system banna
Falguni:
Ek dusre ko samjhna aur kamm ladna!

Sumellika smiled at th and Sumedh holded Mallika's should as he put his had around her back to show that they will.

Kriti:
Aur mujhe chocolates dete rehena!!

They all laughed!
All came in for a family picture. Sumedh and Mallika in the middle, Kriti in front of them. Anu beside Sumedh, Basant beside Anu and Siya beside Basant.  Kartikey beside Mallika and Devesh and Falguni beside Kartikey

Say cheese!!

And a happy family photo with a happily married couple.

In the room.

As they enter the room. They justed looked at each other. They smiled and hugged each other.

Sumedh:
I will always be yours, will always trust u, love you and be with you Mallika...I promise
Mallika:
I will always love you Sumedh! Side by side or miles apart...I will love u with all of my heart.
Sumedh:
I love youuuyu!!
Mallika:
I love you tooo!!!

And they live a happily ever after life!
