Coldsnap cursed under her breath. She had destroyed Leo's workshop too quickly; her group had forgotten to research his files further in order to find out how to upgrade Firebird's transport puck to bring the heroine's family to the Elemental Realms. They had managed to equip their newest allies, but ultimately, the job was only half done.

She shrugged. "I.....have no idea....."

Thankfully, Firebird came to her rescue.

"Guess it's a good thing I picked this up, then," the fire mage said confidently as she pulled out a small device resembling a flash drive from her armor.

"What? What is that? Where'd you get it from? What does it do?" Coldsnap quickly rattled off.

Ignoring her friend's questions for the time being, she turned toward the icy heroine's family and friends, asking a single question of her own.

"Can any of you get me to a computer?"

As the group of nine huddled around Alexis's desktop, Firebird explained everything.

"When I was viewing Leo's research files on his computer back at the workshop, I noticed a blank flash drive on one of the shelves. While Coldsnap, Keena, and I were teaching ourselves how to use the Aegis Gauntlets, this baby was downloading every single byte of information on that device into it the whole time!" she revealed proudly. "Now, we have access to everything Leo knows....everything regarding his projects, at least."

"You knew I was going to destroy the workshop?!" Coldsnap exclaimed.

"I had a feeling you might," Firebird replied. "Your heart's really set on sticking it to him, isn't it? In fact.....might I suggest we go even further? Steal all of his ideas and patent them in his stead?"

Coldsnap laughed. "That sounds brilliant. But.....I'd imagine that would take some time. We'll worry about that when this is all over."

Firebird scrolled down the file list while keeping a careful eye out for anything regarding the Mage Aspects' transport pucks.

"Maybe that one might have something to do with it?" Keena suggested, pointing to a tab about halfway between the top and bottom of the current list. "It says.....'Puck Upgrade'."

The fire mage clicked on it, and a document popped up containing information on how to make the wormholes accessible to people from Earth for a limited time.

"'In order to make the portal gateways usable by Earth's people, the transport puck must be laced with a chemical known as 'Primordial Juice'," Firebird read out loud. "'Substance can also be used for a variety of other purposes, and is known to have strong restorative properties'."

"'Primordial Juice'.....?!" Coldsnap repeated confusedly. "Where the heck are we going to get that?!"

"I don't know.....I've never even heard of it before!" Firebird responded.

"Neither have I....." Keena muttered.

"So.....what happens now.....?" Michael inquired. ".....Are we just.....stuck here?"

"No.....no, you guys are going to help us.....I'll see to that," Coldsnap promised. "I'm sure we'll find some of it somewhere. It can't be too hard to find, right.....?"

Firebird read the instructions further. "'The concoction can be found in a wide arrangement of healing tinctures in the Elemental Realms, but isolating it from a mixture takes time. Finding it in its pure form is more ideal, but so far, only one batch is known to exist.'"
