31 | CHOCOLATE MILK

I kept my head down, it's not like it would make me look suspicious since everyone already thinks it was me.

Yeah, you heard right. They think I killed Damon just because my mom came to pick me up.

Anyone's parent would do that in this town. It's not the simple fact of innocent or guilty over here, it all comes down to the same thing. Reputation.

I'm a Han, they know my father has the power to get me out of a situation like this and that's why they're mad and that's why they assume it's me. Their parents can't do that, there would still be some sort of a record there.

They think it's me and they think I'll get away with it.

I felt someone grab my shoulder, making me turn around. I was just trying to get to Felix and the others that sat at the table not far away but instead I was met by Kate and Danielle.

"I know you killed my boyfriend" Kate spat and I shook my head vigorously.

"I-I didn't"

"Yes you did, and your dad will cover it up" Danielle spoke up.

I shook my head again, stepping back as they step closer. Their loudness caught the attention of the other students, making them stop what they were doing to watch.

My eyes caught sight of Felix and the others and they stood up but stopped. My eyes were wide and I furrowed my brows in confusion until I knew exactly what made them stop.

I felt it. The thick cold liquid ran down my face. I grimace and my shaky hand goes to my face to see that Danielle poured her chocolate milk on me.

I look at them in shock and Danielle smirks "Now you look ugly and messy"

Kate laughs and pushed me, making me slip on the chocolate milk that dropped on the floor. I hear laughter, not sure if it was real or in my head.

I couldn't take it, I didn't wait for any help as I hurry to my feet and run into the hallway. Pushing the door of the restrooms and going into a stall.

My tears fell as my shaky hands reach into my pocket to get my phone. Dialing someone I didn't think I would ever call for help.

Holding my phone to my ear, I let out a shaky breath.

"Jisung, is everything okay?"

I shook my head "Can you pick me up?" I ask her.

"Of course, I'll be there," My mom said and I hung up.

Hearing the door open, my body stiffens. Trying to stay quiet.

"Jisung?" I heard Felix's voice and I walk out of the stall he frowns "Oh my god, I'll personally fight those bitches"

I walk to the sink, turn on the water, and fill my hands with water, leaning over and washing my face and my hair. Trying my best to get the chocolate milk off me.

"Hey" Felix tries to gain my attention again. I stand up straight and look at him through the mirror. "Everything's gonna be okay"

I look down and nod "Yeah, that's what everyone keeps saying" I mumble, turning off the water and turning to him. "I'll see you later Felix"

I walk out of the restroom and down the empty hall. A door opened up and I look down, not caring who it was, and truthfully I wasn't in the best mood to see another person who looks at me like I was some sort of a murderer.

"Jisung?"

I'm about ready to move out of state and change my name. The amount of times I heard it today is driving me insane.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I flinch. Stopping in my tracks and turning around to see Minho.

"Hey, why are you all wet?" I look down and shake my head.

"I have to go, my mom is waiting for me out front," I say in a hurry, turning around and walking out of the school.

I felt my phone vibrate as I get into the car, pulling it out to see Minho calling, watching as it rings before stopping.
