39 | COTTON CANDY

I stare down at my phone, my mind having a huge debate about who to pick.

Minho or Felix?

I sigh and throw myself onto my bed. My phone getting tossed somewhere on the covers as I stare up at the ceiling.

They both asked to hang out and I don't know who to pick. I either hang out with Felix and his group of friends or Minho and his group of friends.

I lay there for a moment before something pops into my head. Smiling widely and sitting up, grabbing my phone, and typing both of them back.

Getting up off my bed and running to the closet to change.

I stare up at all the ride and look to Tom, "Wish me luck"

Tom laughs and pats my shoulder "Have fun kid" He says before getting into the car and driving away.

I sigh, walking the black car drive away. Looking back to the amusement park and Inhaling "They will either love me for this or hate me" I said to myself before walking up to the entrance.

Paying quickly and entering to spot a familiar group, walking up to them with a smile. "Hey guys"

They look at me and Hyunjin stands up and runs to me, embracing me into a tight hug, pulling away he says "I'm so happy you chose this place, I love amusement parks!"

I chuckle "Of course, I also wanted to come because I've never been"

Hyunjins eyes widen "Never?"

I shake my head "No, nobody ever brought me"

"Well now you have us," Felix says happily.

"And us?" I turn to the familiar voice, seeing a confused Minho.

I swallow harshly and look back and forth between the two confused groups. Chuckling nervously "About this" I start "Both of you asked me to hang out and I didn't want to say no so I just invited you both here" I smile and they look at me.

Felix broke out in a huge smile "That's really cute, actually"

I shrug "Can we just ride something already?"

The groups got along better than I expected, laughing and joking around like they already knew each other for years. If I'm not wrong, I notice some flirting going on between someone of them but it's too early to say.

"Are you having fun?" I look beside me to see Minho looking at me.

I nod with a smile "Yes!" I said excitedly, looking around the amusement park. The sun is going down so the lights illuminated the place and it was like I was dreaming. "I never want to leave" I sigh.

I felt a heavy weight on my shoulder before I felt a breath in my ear—chills running down my spine as Minho whispered "Let's go get some food?" I look at him and back to the others who walked a little ahead of us.

"What about the others?"

"They are fine, just look at them" I look more closely and notice how they laugh and I notice Hyunjin push Seungmin playfully because he stole some of his cotton candy.

"Okay, I'm hungry anyways"

I couldn't take my eyes off him. He sat in front of me, eating ice cream like it wasn't freezing out.

I pull my phone out and take a picture of the scene. I chuckle amused at the boy, making him look up at me "What?" He pouts.

I put my phone away and shake my head "It's freezing out, how can you eat that?" Minho looks at the ice cream and shrugs.

Looking back up to me "It's too good not to enjoy"

I laugh loudly, noticing how pink his nose was. I lean over the table and place my warm hands on his cold cheeks. His eyes fall closed and he smiles softly, looking at me. "I may have needed that"

I laugh again and pull away "We should find the others before we go," Minho said, standing up and I did the same.

"Can we get more cotton candy?" I ask, looking up at him. He throws his ice cream and smiles at me before nodding.

"Thank you," I say to the lady, grabbing the cotton candy. Pulling a piece off and sticking it in my mouth, I turn to see Minho chuckling at me.

I walk up to him and wrap my arm around his, continuing to eat the cotton candy.

We walk slowly, taking our time to appreciate our surroundings and each other's company. I grab a piece of cotton candy and hover it by Minho's mouth.

He looks down at me and I wait for him to eat it with a small smile. He opens his mouth and eats the piece of cotton candy. "Yum, right?"

Minho laughs and nods, stopping and turning to me. Putting his hand on my cheek, caressing them softly he says "Want to know something I noticed today?"

I swallow and furrow my brows "What?" I say curiously.

"How comfortable you are" I look at him for a second before looking down at the cotton candy, feeling his cold hand grab my chin to look back at him, his thumb gliding over my chin in a gently way as he says "I like seeing you like this"

My face heats up and I bite my lips. "I like feeling like this"

Minho's eyes sparkle as he stares at me, "How do you feel?"

I inhale and look around before getting the courage to look back at him. Him waiting for my answer as I lean closer to him and place my lips on his softly.

I pull away and say "Happy"
