"Eun-ji... your borfriend's here..." Renz shouts out from the counter looking into the kitchen through a small window. This just earned a loud roar from the rest of the kitchen staff, hence sending your cheeks to blush so bad.
"Go ahead dear..." Layla says in encouragement, knowing full well that the guy out there isn't really your boyfriend. "Don't mind them, they just love teasing you."
"It's okay... at least they're all smiling..." You said with a chuckle.
"Go have your break... don't hurry back, we have everything covered." Layla says sweetly. She's always been so supportive that this doesn't feel like a job immersion at all.
You head out to your locker to hang your apron. Before heading out, you decided to check your reflection on the full length mirror. Despite more than 2 hours of work, you still look presentable.
"Hey... can you have lunch with me?" Jungkook says smiling as he holds a brown bag in one hand and points to a vacant booth in the cafe. "I got you tacos."
"You're an angel!" You replied with a wide smile.
In no time you're both munching on your tacos while Jungkook was enjoying his lasagna from the cafe. For more than a month now, he's been visiting you at work every chance he gets. He would bring you a different snack or lunch each time and he's been giving you a ride to and from work without fail.
His kindness was over the top that it didn't go unnoticed by Jimin and the rest of the cafe personnel. The moment Jungkook steps in the cafe, your co-workers would call you almost automatically.
"Slow down slugger..." He chuckles looking at you devouring your taco in haste.
You're just 10 minutes into your break but you're already on your third taco. Not that you're hungry or that the food is so mouthwatering that you can't wait to finish everything but because you wanted to spend the rest of your break time chilling with Jungkook.
He's been helping you figuring out what to choose for your college path and honestly speaking, as much as you enjoy his company you also love the way he looks out for you. In return, you've been taking care of Bam whenever he had to stay out late for school or out for job interviews.
"Are you free tonight? I have time for a movie or two." He says while doodling on his phone.
"I think I'm good, mom's having friends over for coffee anyway. So which Netflix movie are we watching?"
"Fireworks."
"Fireworks? Wait, that's still showing on cinemas right?" You asked since Jimin actually wanted to watch it too.
