you grab your supposedly don't-lay-this-inside-bedroom boots to match your outside before running out of your bedroom
passing by your brother, which was forced to cosplay as kokichi ouma for halloween. you slightly wave at him as he waves at you back before he says "whoever brings home the best and more candies, wins"
your lips slowly turn into a smirk as you look at your brother, "bet" you reply then continued to run towards the front door
you open the door only to be met with your boyfriend's red ruby eyes that was supposed to be blue for the sake of the cosplay
his gaze softens at you as he softly smiles, "hey"
"hi hi" you reply before moving your gaze towards your friends that was at the gate of your house
venti was cosplaying as momiji sohma from fruits basket which was quite....not...matched due to the theme halloween
hu tao, of course, was cosplaying as hanako from toilet bound hanako-kun
and if you look at the two brothers, one was cosplaying as elsa — at first, kaeya jokingly mentioned him cosplaying as elsa but it ended up being real — and one was cosplaying as... batman.
yanfei and yoimiya was cosplaying as rosa from the otome game, tears of themis which was also weird for the theme halloween but girlbosses ig... while yoimiya was cosplaying as Ibuki mioda from danganronpa
then your childhood friend was cosplaying as.... scratch that, he wasn't actually cosplaying, he was just dressed up as a vampire
afterwards, the couple, kamisato and thoma, were also dressed up as a witch and a wizard
and finally, your boyfriend, kaedehara kazuha, was cosplaying as aki hayakawa from chainsaw man
"alright, let's go do some trick or treatin'!" you shouted before your friend group exclaims excitedly
now this was going to be a fun and long night
