Re-beginning

Death would be his biggest gift, after Reina died, Shade Shadows wanted nothing more but to join her and Ophelia in their next after life. the only reason he hadn't taken his own life yet was because of the responsibility he felt towards taking care of the twins- Jade and June.

Jade and June were the youngest of the queen's friends. In fact, they were the youngest humans in the mortal realm. They were loved and adored by everyone not only because of their age but because of their beauty as well. No soul...

...dead or alive,

...could compare to the beauty of the twins. Also, like Shade Shadows, the twins were orphans. They had faint memories of their mother but none of their father. And so, in the orphanage they grew up in, Shade took care of them. His whole life he treated them like they were his sisters but today he would no longer be responsible for them, it was the day he finally became a man...the day he became worth killing.

After the Death of Reina, the humans in the mortal realm lost all order. Within a week, children had left their settlements and began discovering new lands. The seas had still not been crossed; however, humanity was no longer together in one place. This would make it harder for the enemies to kill them...

...but not impossible.

Shade's birthday- unlike Reina's, was a very common one. Today, many children would turn 18 and many would die. So, when the enemies came, they came in numbers. The one that came for Shade, however, did not kill him on the spot. Instead, they took him captive...along with the twins.

...this was another unusual act.

The masked enemy that held Shade and the twins in captivity, took them towards the direction of port. Once there, the face behind the mask was revealed. It was the first time any enemy revealed their face...but this wasn't just any face. It was the face of their mortal queen...

...Reina Reeves.

After her death, Reina woke up in the Beta realm- one of the two realms that belong to the gods. The Beta gods are responsible for the creation of the mortals. After she was killed as a mortal, Reina Reeves woke up as a god...a beta god.

...it gets better

The human- Reina Reeves was just a mortal version of the God- Reina Reeves. The Reina that died in the mortal realm, wasn't the same one that woke up in the beta realm. The Reina that woke up as a beta god had always been a beta god but after the death of her mortal version, in the mortal realm...

...the God version of Reina Reeves became a different person.

When the mortal version of Reina died, her god version woke up with a new set of memories...memories of the life her mortal version lived. God Reina and mortal Reina were not the same person but now...they were one.

...we'll get back to that.

When they walked through and arrived on the other side of the Port, the temperature had dropped significantly. Reina had teleported her friends and herself to the ice realm- land of the ice giants. Currently, the ice realm was their best chance of survival. Unfortunately, both Ice and Fire realms are trapped in a portal loop.

The port in the ice realm was beautiful. In the mortal realm it was just a hollow tree with green leaves and a rainbow-coloured mist whirling around within in. In the ice realm however, the port tree was made up of ice...and so were the leaves.

The ice that made up the leaves on the tree were tougher than diamonds and could only be broken by another leaf from the same tree. The ice giants would usually use the frozen leaves from the port to create their weapons. These weapons were used in the war they fought against the fire giants.

...but more on that later.

The giants from the Ice and Fire realms were never able to venture to other realms. This was because they were stuck in a portal loop. A portal loop is when two realms are only connected to each other. So, once you step foot in the ice realm, you can only travel to the fire realm and back...

...nowhere else.

Luckily for Reina, Shade, and the twins, the ice giants were harmless to any being other than a fire giant. Unluckily for them, they were now trapped in a realm stuck in a portal loop. Moreover, the freezing temperature of the ice realm was unsuitable for humans. Within a few hours, both Shade and the twins would be frozen solid...

...but not dead...not completely.

According to the ice giants, there is magical pool within the ice realm that could revive the frozen mortals. In order to find it, Reina would have to find a man called Ymir. Ymir is not an ice giant...

...but he is a giant of sorts.
